This place is the real deal! I haven't tasted donuts this fresh since I was a kid in my small town. The staff is super friendly and make great recommendations. and The prices are absolutely affordable like 12 donut holes for the kiddos for $1.39 (and they are big donut holes!) The maple glaze donuts melt in your mouth and aren't too sweet like some other major chains. Definitely worth a stop, it will make your morning. See you all again soon! P.s. I read in the paper that Delectable Donuts is expanding into a sushi bar. Needless to say, it's an odd combination. When I was a kid, i grew up a few blocks away from this corner. It was always a donut shop under various franchises. Delectable Donuts are the sushi of donuts. They have a little different presentation than the usual fare of glazed and chocolate. This day, I went for the sushi. Don't get me wrong, for a new sushi place, the food was good - way better prices than most in larger markets, but they'll get the details down. But then again, I've been to lots of sushi places that are way fancier and expensive. Rolls are mostly $5.99, which I thought was reasonable, but are the thinner variety - hosomaki, versus the thicker ones futomaki. The nigiri sushi was $5.50, which was a little higher than I've seen. I had a california eel roll the other night in Fort Collins and wanted to compare it. The Hi Sushi version was comparable. I also judge a place by it's udon noodle soup. The soup here was $5.99, but no meat, an egg, kamaboko and takuan (picked radish) which I hadn't had in udon before. One detail they'll eventually get is to have more shoyu bottles on the bar, shakers of the hot red pepper, ice for water - since it's a donut place, there's no soda fountain. The attraction to this place is the funkiness of the donut - sushi pairing. I'll be back, probably for lunch. They have three rolls for $9.99. read more

The two gentlemen working were so friendly and kind. It took a few minutes for them to get my order ready, but that was nothing compared to how amazing the sushi was!!! Delicious donuts and very friendly helpful staff! I came into the store wanting a strawberry frosted donut but unfortunately there weren't any. I was pretty bummed out, I really wanted a strawberry donut. They quickly offered to take a plain cake donut and go back and frost it for me. I wad so happy! While I was waiting, one of the employees came out and told me it was my lucky day, they found a regular donut they were going to frost for me as well for free. So not only did they go out of their way to frost a donut just for me they also gave me another donut for free! And the donuts were so good. I will definitely be back! read more

First and only donut shop I've been too and I won't bother to look anywhere else. We called around 1:00 wondering what time they closed since it's MLK day. The man that answered the phone told us he was closing at 2PM and then asked what donuts we were looking for. It took me by surprise as my husband and I were just going in to look at what donuts they had. He then explained he was running low on donuts (understandable since they closed in less than an hour!) and wanted to make us FRESH donuts of whatever we wanted. Are you kidding? Service is AMAZING. Never have I ever been offered fresh donuts at any other place before! We places our order and they were ready less than five minutes after we got there. Not a bad wait at all for fresh donuts. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The donuts were amazing. Fluffy dough and the perfect glaze to donut ratio. We went in there for one dozen and walked out with three because of the selection (they were out of most of their donuts but the flavors they still had caught our eye and we just had to try them) and outstanding customer service! The frosting on the chocolate raised one that I had crumbled and fell off, though, so that wasn't so great, but the dough is perfect and no greasy/fried after taste like certain oddly over-popular donut chains. Today I got raspberry filled, an apple crumb, and a strawberry frosted. The donuts are soft, really fresh, and super delicious.
