Their glazed old fashioned donut was addictive! Pop it in the microwave for a few seconds and it tastes like it's fresh out of the oven. Since it was my first time, I decided on a trio of their glazed varieties. I'm not a huge fan of overly filled and topped donuts anyway. The classic plain glazed donut was fluffy and airy inside and lightly glazed on top- perfect. The glazed French Crueller was slightly wet inside and crispy outside- prob won't get again as I prefer the fluffiness of the classic donut. The sour cream fashioned I saved for last because it's my go-to donut. Honestly, it let me down. Yes, it was crispy with lots of crusty surface area and had a dense inside. But it had too much surface area that held on to too much glaze, making it overall way too sweet for me. I will be back to get more plain glazed and maybe try the twisted two-toned.

Hits: - buttermilk: first one i've ever had that actually kind of tastes like buttermilk. great texture too - glazed chocolate cake donuts: the cake base is super chocolatey even without chocolate icing. impressive. Misses: - apple fritter: soft and flexible like a paper plate with minimal pieces of apple, really disappointing given how big it is. mine had way too much cinnamon in it too. - anything with "strawberry" icing: classic pepto bismol flavor, my search for good strawberry donuts in ongoing - glazed: wet?? definitely not a raised texture, the icing kinda soaks into it making it soggy. can't decide if it wants to lean cake donut or bready donut. ???: two-toned knott - bready, is it supposed to be that way?

The last two times I've ordered one I felt quite underwhelmed. This place makes up by holding the foco bakery crown for cake donuts. Customer service is always great. Clean shop and they have a refrigerator up front with a few individual bevies- Red Bull, milk, juice pouches, etc. Pro-tips - if you're looking for classic cake donuts, this is a lovely place to go; if you're looking for variety/specialty donuts this may not be your place - like many local bakeries- "the early bird gets the worm." - parking in the back

I kept it simple and got a chocolate round. The consistency of the donut was a little dense and tasted almost stale and flavorless. I ended up tossing the last few bites, which is a first. My husband got a wild card donut, their peaches and cream raised, and it was a standout star. The texture and consistency of the donut were classic, light. The flavors seemed balanced, and not too sweet despite the peachy-o ring on top. If all the donuts compared to this one, this review would be incredibly different. But, the other 3 were all duds, so much that I'm curious if by accident we chose the day oldies. We won't be back for donuts, however, do want to explore the chicken and other bites another time.

Service was speedy as it wasn't busy at all at the time. There were just a few options left - brown butter, peach and a monkey bread - and I got one of each to try. The doughnuts were a bit more substantial than a classic doughnut with a nice slightly chewy texture and high sweetness level from the glaze toppings. I wouldn't recommend having more than one in a sitting unless you're looking for a sugar rush or sharing! The monkeybread bun was equally delicious with a sweet glaze and small pull apart sections. To say Landline is cute is an understatement. The interior decoration is fun, bright and unique! They have great impactful branding that stands out for a photo op or just to admire while you snack. If you're craving a sweet while out and about, Landline is a great place to try with coffee and doughnut options that are reasonably priced.
