Sometimes short and sweet is all it takes! Old-fashioned, cake, kolaches, bars... You name it and Donut Factory has got it! I've stopped by several times to pick up a dozen donuts or so to bring with me to the office, and they are always on point. My personal favorite was the red velvet cake donut. Yum! Who doesn't deserve a donut? I don't know, but I can tell you I'll gladly make my way to Donut Factory to get my sugar fix in the future. read more

I am all for supporting local businesses, and we have been doing so with Donuts Factory on most Saturday mornings for nearly two years since we moved into the neighborhood in 2021. I always come with my 6yr-old son as a "Donuts with Dad" tradition/bonding experience. It's also a teachable moment where we get to practice manners. So far in 2023, we have come 17 times and spent $163.40. We have been more than loyal & kind enough with our support. I dare say the kindness has not been reciprocated. Every time you walk into the store, a loud chime sounds so that the staff know someone has entered. Many times there is no one behind the counter when we enter...despite the chime. When the lady (typically) comes to the counter from the back, my 6yr-old says good morning to her. Sometimes she appears to be in a good mood & says good morning back to him; other times she says nothing at all & just stares at him. When she doesn't say good morning back to him, he asks me why. I offer that maybe she didn't hear him, even though we're the only ones there & it's a quiet store. Additionally, whenever I make a suggestion or question the pricing of my donuts, I get an ugly, curt response or yelled/snapped at by her or the man who typically is in the back cooking donuts, etc. For example, my wife loves plain, unglazed cake donuts. They don't make them here. When I asked/suggested that they make them (so they can make more money off of me), they've gotten irritated & snapped at me. Even though I get the same six donuts nearly every time (blue-covered donut with sprinkles, blueberry or red velvet cake donut, glazed twist donut, glazed cake donut, two old-fashioned donuts), the price they charge me varies. See the attached photo of receipts from my last two visits in May. I purchased the same exact donuts. On one visit, she charged me $9.14; on the next visit, she charged $10.69. When I asked her politely to help me understand what she charged, she got mad & slapped the receipt on the box of donuts one time and either she or he yelled at me the other times. My kiddo always thanks her for the donuts; sometimes she thanks him back, and other time she says nothing. It's challenging teaching my son proper manners when his efforts are often unreciprocated. I suppose in the end it's my fault for continuing to return to this donut shop with my business with the way my son & I are both treated with little kindness or appreciation. The donuts are yummy enough, but that's not enough to keep us coming back anymore. I tried to support a local business that was conveniently close to where we live. But, I'd rather travel further to Johnstown or Loveland for some good donuts and be consistently treated with respect, kindness & gratitude than continue to give my hard-earned money to Donuts Factory like I have the last two years and not be respected or appreciated. read more

We just moved to Greeley and I saw the reviews were glowing for here. Sadly, they don't do sandwiches anymore. A good tip for this place would be to have an up to date menu. The donuts were freaking AMAZING! Holy crap! Packed with flavor, soft and gooey. Just... Omg good! The sausage roll (which I'm pretty sure was a Nathan's Hotdog) was really good. Surprisingly a good spot to grab some donuts! The initial first impression wasn't all that great with a pink floor and an interesting setup inside.. however there was a small line of people early on a Saturday. So I stayed and I ordered a dozen assorted and was shocked by how fluffy, and tasty they were. My team enjoyed them and wolfed down the dozen before I could blink. thought the prices were a tad high but I'm all about supporting local business. I hope their coffee is decent... Holy blueberry cake donut, Batman! It is full of flavor and I always want more than I should eat. My grandpa is a fan of the coconut topped option and I have to say every flavor I have had has been delicious. I tried a hotdog wrapped pastry for actual breakfast once and that was served cold (no option to even microwave it quickly) but the pastry was still spectacular. We tried Donut Factory for the first time today and we are so glad we did! It seems like so many businesses have gone through this area so we were never sure if it was open or not. The donuts were wonderful. So fresh! We had glazed, old fashioned, cake and filled. We also tried their jalapeño Kolache's. They were so good. The bread was so fresh and the jalapeños just add a nice bite to it. We like this place better than any other place in the area including Winchell's! I don't know if the lady behind the counter was having a bad morning, last week I went and bought some apple fritters and they were burnt on the bottom, all I asked was can I see the bottom of donuts before I buy, this lady went CRAZY she became rude.. spouting off jibbers. Made me feel real uncomfortable. I hope the owner looks at the video tape. She was so out of control. I bought the fritters because I enjoy them. Like any good mom and pop donut shop they make a certain quantity for the day then close. We went Saturday at 7 am and they were already sold out of the raspberry filled. Their apple fritters are the size of an adult males hand and nice and crispy edges but fluffy inside. Very clean inside. Cashier was friendly and quick working (ie: efficient service made to get people in and out!) Spiced chai is good. More nutmeg & cinnamon flavor than most coffee shops. read more

Pretty disappointed, nothing special. Donuts are .99 and the same size at the area grocery store bakeries are .62. Apple fritters are delicious and bigger than the grocery bakery...but they are 1.99. The counter to pay is small and chaotic.....the clerks don't take people in the order they arrive. so you may have to wait a bit until they take you. read more
