Pork Hot Bun 6 Dumplings w/ rice Extra egg
    Synphane G.

I stop by here when I need a quick bite to eat on my way to class. It's never super crowded there so they have fast service. The hot buns are really tasty and my favorite thing to eat there. Dumplings are yummy too

Stopped by Beijing Station for the first time and was greeted by the welcoming employees behind the counter. I enjoyed how friendly the staff were and how it felt like a homey, humble family establishment. I decided to check out their wonton ramen and thought it was great. Every element of the ramen soup was executed well and the food also came out quickly. The bowl was huge and came with a good amount of noodles and wontons. They only have forks out but you can ask for chopsticks which they keep behind the counter.

Pickled mustard and ground meat noodles, house soup and ramen
    Emily L.

Went with hubby a couple weeks ago for lunch while at the medical center. We were pleasantly surprised by the authentic and well priced food. Had the ramen and mustard/ground meat noodles and house soup. Each noodle dish was large and under $9. What a bargain! This is homestyle cooking with Chinese comfort food. We would recommend this place and i will return to try the crepes.

    Teriyaki Chicken

I come here a few times a month. The owners are so lovely, and the food is always great. I usually get the chicken ramen or teriyaki chicken, and the servings are big and great for the price. I'd recommend anyone to come here and support their business.

I got a couple different things on the menu and they were all just kind of awful. Very sweet, mostly noodles, flavorless, etc etc.

All of them are very friendly. The dish is really Chinese food instead of modified Chinese food.

Come here for authentic Northern Chinese noodle dishes. Foods come in large volume and are reasonably priced.

The food is okay. However it's like kid's portion. The chef use bare hands to make dishes which looks unhygienic.

The menus have not always been the same when I looked. But to their credit, when I placed an order at the "downtown" location only to discover that they meant something other than Charlottesville's pedestrian arcade (which is where this one is), I was able to call them and get it corrected. My order was transferred over and was ready for me with no trouble. The vegetable dumplings weren't fancy, but there were a ton of them, and what seemed a small sauce proved more than enough. I also got a veggie bun, but the filling was so trivial as to not really be worth it. This place does have some space to eat in, although it seems most popular as a takeout.

I'm always on the search for dumplings, so seeing this local chain caught my attention. With a…read morelimited menu, I had high hopes that they'd hit on all items. While the flavors were decent, I'm relatively sure this is pretty standard frozen steam buns and dumplings from an Asian market marked up quite a lot. The dumplings seem extremely similar to the Way Fong frozen dumplings (probably my favorite brand of frozen dumplings), except they're deep fried and covered with a lot of sauce. The sauce and dumplings aren't bad, but the sauce overpowers the nice flavor of the dumplings. The steam buns are fine, but I think they're reheating them in a microwave. What happens is the dough gets really tough/chewy within a minute or so once it's out of the microwave. If you like the dumplings, check out Way Fong frozen dumplings.

It's got a kiosk to order take out if you wanted but we sat down to enjoy our food. Service was quick and friendly. The food came out well paced and coming from NoVA where there are great authentic places, we were so pleasantly satisfied after a cold day. The space is was clean, bathrooms well stocked, and we will be back when we're looking for a Chinese food fix!

Eh. The food is just ok. TBH if I'm looking for good takeout Chinese in cville my go to is Hong…read moreKong on Avon. I've tried everything else and knew Q Noodles is well reviewed but HK is undefeated. We ordered takeout and decided to try a few different things on their menu. I will say the food came correct and the packaging was clean and tidy. The prices are expensive but the portions are huge. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees and couldn't finish all of it. 1 of each is enough for 2 people. The pork steamed buns were our favorite. Not the best I've had ever, but possibly the best in cville. The bun was super light and fluffy and the filling was savory. I prefer mine to be a bit sweeter with a BBQ flavor, so not my all time fav but very good. 8/10 The egg rolls were just fine. Well prepared and cooked. Tasted slightly too oily. The inside was cabbage and either ground pork or chicken. No carrot. The inside was so finely minced it kinda turned into a mush. So the texture was not the best. Hard to distinguish the flavor as well. 5/10 The sesame paste noodles with ground pork was presented beautifully with red cabbage, cucumber, edamame, corn, shredded carrot and cilantro. I think the sesame paste sauce was just too one dimensional, but maybe that's the point. The noodles were overdone so underneath the beautiful rainbow of toppings was just kind of a pile of mushy noodles in a plain sesame paste. After a few bites the earthiness/mushiness of the dish starts to be overwhelming ... not my favorite. 4/10 The general tsos was packaged well and came with white rice a few pieces of steamed brocolli and a ramen egg. The ramen egg was good. The general tsos the chicken was good quality and very fresh. It reminded me of an orange chicken in terms of how their GT tastes. My favorite GT in cville is from Hong Kong and unfortunately this one wasn't as good. The chicken was good quality but the texture was quite soft and not crispy the way I prefer. The sauce was also a bit too sweet for my preference. Overall, a good dish it is enjoyable just not my fav. 6/10 With how much hype they get I was expecting a bit more - perhaps at some point I will try their soup dumplings since they may be the only place in cville that does them. But for $13 for 6 pieces I may just continue to wait awhile considering the rest of their food was fairly average. Overall, a solid spot for average Chinese food. Nothing amazing but will satisfy a craving for well made Chinese food if you are looking in the uva area.
