House Special Chow Mei Fun Shrimp
    Mauro D.

Hungry for Asian after hitting North Beach ? Beijing Caféis your choice of traditional home-style Chinese food. Both of the dishes we devoured in a heartbeat were beyond our expectations and we were all anticipating this just by judging the Chinese crowd that was already there. I can certify that if you opt for the House Lo Mein (with a mix of meat, chicken, and shrimp) or the House Special Chow Mei Fun Shrimp , that differs from the other one as it is a thin noodle, you will swirl into them all the way! Usually, when I eat this type of dish at a food court in a mall, I feel a chunk of greased food in my stomach, but this wasn't the case at Beijing Cafe, because you can tell it is homemade and that everything is cooked at the moment. The Won Ton cream cheese empanadas are a succulent bite of fried crispiness.... The ambiance is pretty chill and casual, you actually feel that you are eating in a Beijing secret spot in Miami, it has the Chinese ghetto vibes, making it more special as you live the complete Chinese experience. Kim its owner makes sure all are served as she remembers back during her time in China, so she can bring up to you that nostalgic feeling that you will only be able to experience at Beijing Cafe.

    Singapore Style Mei Fun

Stumbled on this cafe while calling for another restaurant. I was presently surprised and the person that anwas very friendly on the phone. So I looked them up on UberEats and ordered. I ordered pork fried dumplings, Singapore Mei Fun, BBQ Spare Ribs and Fried Garlic Honey Chicken Wings. The dumplings were delicious and crispy. We loved the spare ribs and said we would order a large next time. The Singapore mei fun was good but not as spicy as I would like so I will ask for it be a bit more spicy next time as well. The wings came in a bag a the sauce was on the side so you could add as much as you like. It didn't need the sauce so I ate it as is. Overall I enjoyed the food and will order from here again.

Taste like any other basic Chinese place. Pretty good, the large sizes of food are on the small side.

Our waiter was incredibly charming and helpful when it came to recommendations. The kitchen was a bit slow and he was so kind as to bring as an extra appetizer. We loved every single one of our dishes, what I really liked was how approachable yet slightly unique each dish was when compared to your traditional chinese restaurant dishes. Our table shared everything, some highlights: cucumber salad (could not get over how flavorful this was), four foot belt noodles (awesome presentation but spicy, the good kind of spice!), chili corn fried rice (LOVED this) and the charred cabbage. DO NOT SKIP ON DESSERT! We got both the Lo Mai Chi + Mai Lai Go and were sooo happy we go both. Insanely good, I am still thinking about both. Would recommend to anyone in town or local for a great dinner.

We chose the Chef's Choice tasting menu, and it was absolutely the right call. Dish after dish arrived beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our favorites were the chicken dumplings, the refreshing cucumber salad, the crispy and delicious shrimp toast, and the perfectly seasoned stir-fried greens. Every course felt thoughtful, balanced, and exciting. A huge shoutout to our server, Daniel, who made the evening even better. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and he guided us through the tasting experience with genuine enthusiasm. It's rare to have service that elevates a meal so much, but Daniel absolutely did. Overall, an outstanding dining experience--romantic atmosphere, phenomenal food, and exceptional service. We can't wait to come back!

Without specialization, it seems like their dishes are just ok. Steam Wagyu Beef Bao: A lot of hype and this was kinda disappointing. It tasted like a regular meatball inside a Chinese bun. Nothing really to make it seem special like the wagyu name implied. Pork Belly Ramen: This is pretty solid for food court ramen. It's no Ippudo, but the broth is very rich and pork. I liked the mix of corn and cabbage as veggies. The pork belly didn't seem slow cooked or tender. It was more like grilled. So some parts of fat were a bit too chewy (whereas a slow cook would melt in your mouth).
