We went last night and had reservations for 7 people, they had 1 server serving all the tables!!! They couldn't bring all the dinner orders together, they bought 1 then another 3 then 2 then the last one after we all finished our dinner. We had to keep on asking server for water because he was so busy serving so many tables by himself. They forgot to put pita bread on all our dishes and we had to ask for it!! Then because we are a big group they charged us 20% for tip which was not deserved at all. We complained to manager but I felt that he didn't care at all. Will never go there again not worth it! I love Lebanese food, and had high hopes for this place. The ambiance was really nice, and had a very friendly staff. The combo shawarma was very flavorful but also very dry. We ordered the lentil soup as well, also great flavors, but cold. All of the food tasted like it was sitting out for a long time, and it didn't taste fresh. We ordered cocktails and 30 min went by, nothing was brought out. We said something to the server, and the manager came over about 10 min later and said they couldn't make my drink and that he would comp another choice. Not the servers fault at all, she was very sweet, sounds like they ran out of the ingredients. Since the food had good flavors, and the restaurant came highly recommended by a friend, I'll give it a second try. However, I was not impressed waiting 40 min for a drink, cold soup, and dry meat. Amazing experience! We didn't make the reservation, but were seated within two minutes on Friday night, though the place seemed to be filling in. The food was of very good quality: soft, fluffy falafel, not greasy at all, just perfect; the juiciest we ever tried chicken breast kebab, flavourful cold appetiser sampler, and crunchy zesty fattoush salad (without bread chips). Good: Vibes were immaculate. Cauliflower appetizer was delicious. My friend who ordered the steak thought it was really good. Neutral/Bad: Service was okay. My food? Not good. I don't eat Mediterranean food a lot so I don't know what is authentic (some reviews on here say this place isn't authentic Lebanese), but this was probably the worst I've had. I'm vegetarian so I ordered the falafel meal. The falafel was dry, unappetizing, and has a very odd taste (I've had many falafels before, none tasted like this). I was really looking forward to the hummus as well, but why was it sour? To be specific, it tasted like spoiled bread. It wasn't a sour taste from lemons or limes, it was a "this food went bad" type of sour. After leaving the restaurant, both my friend and I felt very nauseous because everything was just drenched in oil. I eat a lot of fried stuff typically, but almost every food item was fried, making it hard for both of us to digest. **Side note: The reason I say service was okay was because we had a miscommunication with our server--I was deciding whether to order the falafel on its own or order the meal--ended up choosing the meal but I think our server may have heard me wrong (my friend confirmed that she heard me order the meal and not the appetizer). It's okay these things happen, but the server got kinda defensive at first when I brought it up. Later, when we changed the falafel from an appetizer to a meal, I was supposed to get 2 more falafels. The two extra they brought out were like HALF the size. Did they deliberately choose smaller ones? I don't know but that just doesn't seem right. At the end of the day, restaurants can have really great vibes, but if the food tastes bad, then doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the restaurant? Came for the hookah but I need to come back for the food. WARNING: if you don't like smoke do not come here to eat after 8pm. Hookah is served after 8pm and there is no designated smoking area. It's all in one place, inside the restaurant. That being said this restaurant is not what I expected after seeing so many pictures and social media videos. It's actually very small! The decor is just as instagramable in-person as it is online. But it's a very small indoor-ish restaurant with not the greatest service. Hookah is $35 and they serve Al-fakher and Mazaya tobacco. They used the kaloud lotus heat management on their head (thank God because I'm so over hookah lounges using old school foil and coal). Hookah was great, took a while for them tot take our order and bring our hookah & tea though. They were playing Arabic music and it was definitely a vibe. Good food, good service. I've been here two times now and it's been a good experience. You are greeted by warm pita chips and zaatr dip which is yummy. I loved all the kebabs. My favorites are the Kafta kebab and sheesh Tawook plates. Everything is pretty authentic. I also really liked their hummus with chicken shwarma on it. The decor inside is nice. They have music sometimes. On my last visit, which was a Thursday evening, there was really nice music to add to the ambience. Watch out for parking though. There's not a lot of spots so you might have to look for street parking. Overall it's always been a nice experience. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel compelled to share how terrible our visit was. We waited over two hours for our food, which never even arrived. The staff seemed completely unorganized, rude, and clueless about what was going on. It was obvious they had no idea how to handle customer service. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were disgusting- not stocked with toilet paper or soap, which made it impossible for my toddler daughter to even use the restroom. When we tried to bring all of these issues to the attention of both the manager Eric and the owner Roland, instead of apologizing or attempting to fix the situation, they argued with us and acted like we were the problem. This was one of the WORST dining experiences we've ever had. It honestly felt like I was on an episode of pranked. Completely unprofessional from start to finish. I was there with Ahmad who left a 1 star review. Let me add some facts as a response to David, the rude worker responding to our reviews. 1. There isn't an online menu, I just checked, their website says "coming soon" so you lied about that. 2. The gratuity isn't mentioned anywhere, nor do they inform you before hand. We have no problem leaving a 20% gratuity if it's deserving. And mandatory gratuity is very presumptuous, is the restaurant thinking parties of 6 or more don't leave tips? 3. We didn't share the hookah with 6 people, only 2 other people at the table wanted to take a single puff just to try it out and we weren't even allowed to do that. 4. I must repeat that the food is mediocre at best and overpriced. 5. It's an Arabic restaurant with no Arab speaking waiters, the waiter's knowledge about Arabic culture and Arabic food is nonexistent. 6. The attitude of David is totally unacceptable, you can clearly see it from his aggressive and disrespectful responses to bad reviews. 7. The bill was indeed over $300 total with taxes and the mandatory 20% gratuity. Also, I want to really emphasize to anyone reading this, regardless of the situation, the restaurant's responses to bad reviews, the attitude, the mockery, the disrespect, it really shows.
