I was there with Ahmad who left a 1 star review. Let me add some facts as a response to David, the rude worker responding to our reviews. 1. There isn't an online menu, I just checked, their website says "coming soon" so you lied about that. 2. The gratuity isn't mentioned anywhere, nor do they inform you before hand. We have no problem leaving a 20% gratuity if it's deserving. And mandatory gratuity is very presumptuous, is the restaurant thinking parties of 6 or more don't leave tips? 3. We didn't share the hookah with 6 people, only 2 other people at the table wanted to take a single puff just to try it out and we weren't even allowed to do that. 4. I must repeat that the food is mediocre at best and overpriced. 5. It's an Arabic restaurant with no Arab speaking waiters, the waiter's knowledge about Arabic culture and Arabic food is nonexistent. 6. The attitude of David is totally unacceptable, you can clearly see it from his aggressive and disrespectful responses to bad reviews. 7. The bill was indeed over $300 total with taxes and the mandatory 20% gratuity. Also, I want to really emphasize to anyone reading this, regardless of the situation, the restaurant's responses to bad reviews, the attitude, the mockery, the disrespect, it really shows. Just read David's responses. David T does not apologize for anything or try and make it right. BRAVO DAVID!!! Sooo hubby found this Gem of a restaurant on instagram and am I happy he did. We went for dinner on Saturday 10/ 19 and called and made reservations with Roland at 8pm. We get there, and couldn't find parking it was full (small parking though) but for our and asked the gentleman (wgich happens to be Roland) and was told To park across the street. Came inside with a beautiful welcome, We got seated to our table. Our wonderful kind waiter introduced himself (Fernando). We started off with a Cold Lebanese Beer Almaza We then ordered their spicy potatoes, Kebob platter with fattoush salad, rice , hamous and there hot Bei App Sampler Let me tell you nothing was left over! Everything was delicious and made with Love you can taste it. We also had double apple Hookah and ended the night with Knefe..... that was sooooo yummy and good! Our Waiter Fernando had such a great personality and was always making sure we were okay. And then Roland came by and chatted with us. They also had a belly dancer for the first time and she was great I just wish the music was a little louder for her. But nonetheless Everything was Perfecto!!!! Im only giving this place a 3 star rating for two reasons. 1. An older man was on his phone FaceTiming all through my husband's and my date night. It's a beautiful ambiance that they created. The FaceTime call was so loud and nobody said anything to him. I wish I had the nerve to. But I didn't. Now the ambiance 2 ... hmmm here is what got me, it was beautiful but I feel a little tricked. It's attached to a walk up window where one side you can order kabobs from the walk up window and sit on the other side of the patio. So essentially the SAME FOOD for a 1/3 of the price of Bei! Which got me thinking "where am I?" And judging by the total A frame of the structure - I was right! I was at a former Wienerschnitzel! It's hard to pay what we paid knowing we were sitting on the Wienerschnitzel patio! Now the food... it was delicious. Service was amazing, the young guy serving us was friendly and personable. We ordered the Bei kebab platter which is "a feast for 2 people" . Comes with lamb chops, rib eye steak, chicken breast and kafta, also served with bastami rice, hummus, fattoush salad, grilled tomato, onion, and pepper and pita bread. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the knefe, which was good. Not my favorite but it was good. Eryck served us, was very attentive and was absolutely on point with his recommendations. It's a clean, sit-down restaurant with a chic & modern feel. Really interesting concept. Fast casual on one side, sit down establishment on the other. The sit down said is very tastefully decorated. Husband and I shared the muhammara and the Bei platter for two. It is a lot of food!! The dips were all delicious but we especially loved the baba ghanoush (eggplant was super smokey - yum) and muhammara. Of all the meat choices I especially loved the lamb. Super flavorful. The chicken was good too. Beef was ok, it wasn't that it wasn't prepared well just could be a personal preference. Knefe was a great dessert to cap off the meal.
