I took my small dog for a grooming and I think that he came back traumatized!! Immediately when he returned home my energetic, 4 yr old pup immediately got in his bed and stayed there for the next two days with the exception of eating and going to the bathroom. On the third day it became necessary to call his doctor, who would need to call me back. I then decided to take my dog to the doggie park to observe his interaction with other dog. While there, I mentioned the problem to another dog owner and before I could finish the name of the groomer, they completed my sentence with both the name and location of this groomer! They too had the same problem and mentioned how others at the park experienced the same with their dogs also. Then stated that it took three to five days before their dog reverted back to his old self, and recommended that I wait the same amount of days before scheduling an appointment with the dr. It took five days from the day of grooming before my dog was himself again. During that time, I noticed that one of his eye lashes had been cut, there were knicks from cutting to close on his legs, his nails didn't appear to be cut and his rectal area was cut too close. I am in agree with the other dog owner, I beleive my dog came back traumatized! read more

I didn't always have an issue with this groomer but something has definitely changed at this place. The last time I picked up my dog, one of the groomers was literally chasing a customer out of the store and insulting him and his dog. That same day, they overcharged me and when asked, they explained that their prices just increased. From $60 to $80 in less than a year? That didn't make sense but I left it alone. I recently call to reschedule a grooming session and asked about the pricing and was told, with an attitude, that they charged me extra the last time because my dog peed and there's a fee for cleanup. I've never heard of that before! Then the groomer tried to haggle with me by saying the next time, she'll meet me halfway between $60 and $80. Isn't there a set pricing structure at this place of business!? Absolutely ridiculous! read more

My puppy always gets her hair matted because she like to run in rain and everything wet. So. I took my Angel in for a grooming before the winter, since he was too furry, he gets knots especially in the nether region, so when I called to make an appointment they were very nice ,and accommodating, I didnt want a close shave, like I always get for him. but wanted an 1" cut, because winter was coming. When I went to pick him up, I expected him to be in a crate, but he was happily playing in the back with the other dogs, my dog is never in a crate at home, and happy that he wasnt in a crate.Loved the cut, they did exactly as I asked. read more

I own a shitzu and he most definitely did not look like the one in this photo after his last grooming there. I suspect the owner did not groom him and had a student or intern groom him. Evidence of that was that my baby was stabbed in the cornea by whomever groomed him. After many communications they took responsibility and paid for medical expenses and refunded the grooming fee but I feel like they should have told me off the bat and not made Jack suffer so long till I figured it out and the vet confirmed it. I pray that this was a learning experience for them and no other fur babies have been hurt since. This happened last summer and I will never get over it. We now use a mobile groomer where Jack is the only customer at a time, never caged and I know exactly who is putting his hands on him. read more

I dropped off my dog here on 12/16/16 for a noon appointment. I got a call back around 5pm to pick up my dog. He was butchered. This is the worst cut he has ever had. His face was cut in a rat/fox like shape. My mother picked him up and ended up having to bring him back because his face was cut properly. Still, they didn't fix it properly. The left side is much longer than the right side. They did a terrible rush job. I would have done a better job. This place deserves no stars. Never again! read more

I brought my dog here. He is a 4 year old shihtzu and he is a very hyper dog. I was surprised by his behavior. He was so calm and cooperative. Jeda (groomer) is excellent and I got a chance to meet the owner. They are calm and understanding. You can tell them the concerns about you pets and they will groom them accordingly. I have been to many grooming saloons and this one is worth every penny you pay. This place is clean and sanitary. Highly recommended. read more

Been bringing my Yorkie here for about a year. Always satisfied with the service. Prices are a bit high. Brought my girl in last week and was spoken so rudely by the dark haired woman. She basically thought she was schooling me and pushed me off to Crystal, who by the way is very nice. Very nice until she talked over me without letting me get my point across. When I expressed that the dark haired woman spoke a little rough to me, it was completely and totally blown off! Definitely not a way to speak to or address a paying customer. Unfortunately, I've already looked into another groomer. The owners need to school their help on how to speak to customers. It's really quite sad that this dark haired woman scared my dog and I away and the owner is ok with it! I've already started spreading the word about my experience. Find new help! read more

I loved this grooming place until today. I want to say Crystal was great when she was helping me out with my 16 yr old this past summer. The veins in her nails were too long and she helped to shorten them a little. Sadly it was a little too late. She was great with her though though. Always treated her with great care which I loved because she was a fragile senior dog. From Crystal I had gotten involved with another dark haired groomer. This woman apparently is a loose cannon and has absolutely NO customer service skills! From reading reviews at this place, today was not the first incident with her. I was trying to talk about a concern I had from the last time she groomed my dog. I was not 'coming at her' as she was stating. I was just trying to talk to her about something that seemed to happen the last time she groomed her. A minor irritation it seemed like. I was not being or getting loud or mean or nasty about it in any way what so ever. She immediately took offense to it and started verbally accosting me. I managed to stay calm the entire time mostly because I was so taken back at what this woman was saying to me and yelling at me about. If I wasn't so confused about what she was yelling about, she would have been met with the 'bad energy' she said I was coming at her with. I should be able to discuss concerns about my dog with out someone literally flying off the handle. Apparently another customer had a very similar problem with this woman on the same exact day as my experience. If this woman is not the owner of the grooming salon, it's beyond me that the actual owner allows her to talk to people the way she does and allow her to continue working there. I was so upset and later angered by this. If it were possible I would give it zero stars. If you do wanna chance this place ask for Crystal. There is another groomer Felicia who I really can't speak about. Other then that it's kind of like 'enter at your own risk' with this salon if you get the dark haired woman. I've been bringing my dogs here for several years now and my pups haircuts come out just fine. Maybe a few longer hairs here and there but never a knick which is super important to me. If I tell them I need them by a certain time, they're done by the time. My dogs don't get anxiety being there like they did at their last groomer and Jada the owner along with the twins are always giving advice on how to treat things with your dogs. She used to be a vet tech is thoughtful enough to share home remedies that can be more effective and healthier for my pups. Now that is priceless. read more

My dog Is a small bichon frise and had been going there for a few years now and normally hasn't had any problems. Her groomer, Crystal, does a very good job with her and I'm typically very satisfied. Today I was told that I'd be expecting to pay 80$+ instead of her usual 60-70$. When I came in to pick up my dog today I wanted to clarify why she was getting charged more than her usual. I was speaking with the clerk in the front who was explaining that it takes an extra person to cut my dogs hair because she's older and they need an extra person so they can be more careful with her so as to not harm her. Fine, I can understand that. One of the other groomers/technicians was listening to our conversation and she came from the back room to explain how difficult it was to cut her hair. She said her skin is loose her bones are brittle and I said "yes, I know and she can be very anxious too". The clerk said my dog was 15 y/o and so I corrected her and said she was actually turning 12. The technician then became loud and defensive and started confronting me about how "he's not getting it, the age doesn't matter" and how "it's only 10 more dollars, what's the problem?" I said "woah I'm not trying to make this a big deal". She then stormed to the back in frustration when crystal came out to appease the situation. I was truly confused because I never raised my voice or confronted them about it. I just said she's actually 12. I understood the price but what I didn't understand was why I was met with so much hostility?? I asked for clarity on the price which I still paid for. I honestly don't feel comfortable bringing her there anymore. I'm going to be bringing her somewhere else from now on. read more

I love them and more importantly they love my babies too!!! Just recently lost my mobile groomers and was trying to find a place that not only did great work, were incredibly knowledgeable but also love you babies as much as you. They're pricing is pretty standard. However the do offer a mid-service for your dogs called the b&b where it cleans up their face, nails and genitals areas for significantly less. This is great especially if you have higher maintenance type dogs like myself! Jada was so nice when I was making my appt. I have a very large long haired dog(120lbs), who is very nervous which makes him a bit difficult to handle. Felicia takes excellent care of him. She and her staff offered ideas to keep the beauty of his fur which were spot on. He smells great for a month after and I have less tumble weeds around my house. There is consistency from one grooming to another (which I did not get at other groomers). I have found that the grooming cost a bit more but the quality is worth every penny. read more

I bring my small, long hair chihuahua here. They definitely do a good job. I get his hair trimmed super short since it grows so long and it gets out of control. They do a good job but the prices are a little high. My dog is super small and it's still over $50 for a wash and trim. So I try to bring him here only once a year and I typically bathe him on my own thereafter. I'd love to bring him more though. The shampoo they used smells amazing and my dogs hair is nice and soft when he's washed here. The girls are super nice. Wish they'd offer some deals or coupons here and there! read more

I was looking for a new groomer for my mini poodle. My former groomer had moved out of state. Since my dog is like one of my children, I started doing research for a gentle and caring groomer. I called this groomer and explained that my poodle was 9 years old and very skittish about being groomed. I was especially concerned about him being crated all day, which my precious groomer did not do. The women told me, on the phone, that they do crate the dogs but they are kind and loving to the dogs while they were crated. The price seemed right and the women on the phone seemed caring so I made an appt for the following Fri at 10:30. When I got there on Fri at 10:20 I was told there was no appt for my dog and that she didn't remember talking to me the week before. She asked if maybe I had spoken to her "crippled" sister. I thought that was really odd calling your sister by that obsolete term, and because I spoke to a woman on the phone. How would I know if I had spoken to a disabled person?? At that point I knew my dog wasn't going to be groomed there. I walked out. I will never know how their services are, and they may be wonderful, but I felt their front desk was very unprofessional. read more

I have been taking my cats here for grooming since moving to Rahway, NJ. I have never been disappointed. I only have my cats washed and brushed but they always come home soft and fresh. They do there best to have my cat completely dry before sending them out of the store. read more

I am COMPLETELY blown away by the experience I had at this grooming facility. From the moment I walked in, my dog and I were greeted with sweetness and tenderness. They completely understood my concerns about my dog's sensitive skin and they took wonderful care of her. Most of all, they did a fantastic job cleaning her. She's bright white, she smells great, and her nails/ears are too. The staff there are TRUE animal lovers, and they made me feel so special. You definitely get what you pay for. I have tears in my eyes after my Cairn Terrier, Jack, was groomed today 5/8/2019 for $65 dollars. Felicia groomed him which she has done for the last couple of years. I have told Felicia, the owner along with her twin sister Crystal, Jack's dew claws need to be cut. Jack was groomed today 5/8/2019 and the owner Felicia took care of him, but was not there at the scheduled 2:30pm pick up. I asked the woman, who said she had worked at the grooming salon for 8 years to check if Jack's dew claws were cut. She had a young guy check Jack and he said "No". The young guy took Jack into the grooming area and the next thing I heard was Jack yelp. Nothing was said to me by the hired helped. Jack and I went home. I took Jack out of my car and the entire back seat was covered in blood. Jack's blood was all over the back seat of my car! I took him into my house and applied pressure. Now my poor dog is just licking his paws for hours. My dog, Jack is the best dog in the world and he is in pain. Remember, Felicia and Crystal (owners), the animals in your care are important members of my family. read more

I have been going there for years with my 2 Shih Tzu's,I was happy with the services and the cuts.I really trusted them and felt safe to bring my Golden Doodle there,big mistake!!I walked in with a beautiful dog and walked out with a dog who was shaved down to skin and cuts on his face and stomach!I feel so bad that I took him there!When I complained to them I could not believe how nasty and disrespectful they were!Very sad not a good way to run a business!Happy to say they lost mine!Good Luck!!! read more

I brought my dogs to get groomed yesterday and the lady who verbally told me to pick up my dogs at 1:30 before I left, ended up not being ready. She was rude and nasty. She ended up talking down at me. Asking me who told you to come here and no one ever called you. Meanwhile before I left they verbally told me to pick my dogs at 1:30 pm. Then I tired to tell the lady at the desk that lady should never talk to the costumers like that. Her answer was, "She has the right to". So this is it. As a costumer you should never talk to anyone like that, especially if they bring business in. If they are right or wrong, costumer is always right. I will NOT recommend anyone to come to this place. They have no costumer service ethics or know how to run a business. Poorly managed. Also one of my dogs eyes is still blood shot red and its day two. I don't know what happen, but I WILL NOT COME BACK OR RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO COME TO THIS PLACE !!!!! read more
