I had a very disappointing experience at Beggars Pizza. I ordered a pizza online for pickup, but when we arrived our plans changed and we decided to dine in. The greeter said that would be fine, seated us, and told us a server would be out shortly. When the server came to the table, she said, "Do you need a server? You ordered pizza to go. All I'm going to do is lay it on the table." She also said the pizza was already boxed and asked if we had paid. About five minutes later she brought the pizza out, and when I asked why it took a while if it was already boxed, she said she had to make sure I had paid -- even though we had already been asked that more than once. We were clearly dining in, yet no drinks were offered, no desserts were mentioned, and the server never checked on us during the meal. We ended up eating our entire meal with nothing to drink. After driving 10 hours and looking forward to eating at Beggars Pizza, this was extremely disappointing. Definitely not the level of service I expected. read more

The beef taco pizza is excellent. A medium is about $25 so a little pricey but it tastes great. They do load the slices up and my household loved the pizza. We also had free cinna bites with icing that were offered on the app. Those were good. I preferred them without the icing but both ways were fine. I recommend trying both items. read more

I have been getting takeout from where since I was a kid. I LOVE their pizza. I will say when I went on this occasion, the pizza was not as brown as it typically. I still enjoyed it however. The only complaint that I have was that it took FOREVER for me to receive my pizza. The workers were nice, so I don't have any complaints with that. I would recommend this place. read more

I catered my family Xmas party. A tray of Chicken Parm and a tray of garlic bread. Unfortunately, instead of Chicken Parm I received mostaccioli with some cut up chicken scattered throughout. I, of course, was expecting crispy chicken cutlets topped with cheese and red sauce...no pasta. So I called, spoke to a manager and told her I received the wrong order. She explained that is how they make chicken Parm. I told her that I had no idea, and no one had told me that when I ordered it. After a lot of bad attitude from the manager, she agreed to take the mostaccioli back and we replaced with three pizzas, which were fine. Miscommunications happen, I get that But the manager was really snotty to me, and the catering menu gives no indication that the chicken Parm is a casserole. After arriving in Chicago, my husband and I stopped here. I've frequented Beggars at other suburban locations but never this particular one. The restaurant's decor is a bit outdated with a 1980's vibe. It was a bit drab and not very inviting. The Sever was pleasant and accommodating, which made us forget about the drab atmosphere. Our thin crust veggie pizza was good except the crust was hard. I'm not sure what happened. Overall, it was an okay experience. We probably won't be back to this location. read more

Came here to order a pizza instead of the one that 10mins from my house because they always make great pizzas but today was not the day. My pizza was burnt so I called to speak with a manager she said they had to cook it like that because the pizza had double sausage but I've always ordered dbl sausage plenty of times and never received a pizza this dark it was so dark my fiancé won't even eat it. Ordered 2 pizzas for dine in. 1 with extra cheese and 1 with sausage. The one with extra cheese clearly had the same amount as the sausage. I have ordered from Beggars multiple times in my life so I know what extra cheese is. I told the waiter not huge deal but this is not extra cheese. He brought the manager over who refuse to admit that both pizzas look at the same even though it was clear as day. Said ok not going to argue. Beggars in Oak Forest has always been a crap shoot as far as quality and service go. They are overpriced and far too often omit food from carryout and delivery orders. When you call them they act like they are doing you a big favor to correct the issue and make you feel like you are a jerk for wanting what you paid for. I typically order Chicken Parmesan or a pizza. The pizzas have been just fine recently, however I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti the other night and it was just awful. It smelled and tasted bad, leaving a horrible after taste. I can't quite put my finger on what the smell/taste was, but am almost certain the spaghetti was cooked in a pot not rinsed properly. I will never order it again. If not for my wife who insists on ordering from them, I never would. read more

I ordered a large sausage and cheese pizza fries and a 2 Liter of sprite. The gentleman that took my order was amazing. I told him I needed my order by 4pm and he said he would definitely try but if it's 15 minutes before or after the game starts would that be okay? I said yes. Classic good pizza. I came in to order a slice of pizza after work; a deep dish cheese slice, and it was absolutely delicious. Since moving from the South Suburbs and South part of the city, I am really missing the Real Chicago food. Definitely will come here after work or for lunch again. I am giving a poor review not for the quality of the food but for the poor customer service delivery. My delivery arrived late and to add insult to injury I was contacted by the Manager that I was out of the delivery zone when I live in Markham, IL which is under 5 miles of their restaurant coupled with them delivering food to us before which does not make sense. The only thing that makes sense is they are not comfortable coming into a diverse neighbohood meaning no white people. I can guarantee you I will NEVER order from this prejudice place again. I LOVE Beggars pizza, it never disappoints, I grew up on a certain pizza joint (only place we order from) Beggars pizza was so very awesome....only place I order from....Stellar! Ordered last night, additionally I opted for greek salad......lettuce, tons of red onions, feta, a few black olives, croutons ( I wanted) and I guess it was a greek dressing which was sparse. This did not resemble the picture on the website by any means If they didn't have the ingredients to make a Greek salad I wish they would just told me I would've ordered something else or passed on the salad Always excited when the pizza comes through the door) Well, Pizza yet again EXCELLENT!! Pizza isn't terrible but is expensive because you pay per ingredient, ends up costing way too much for a pizza with basic toppings. The main reason that I will NEVER give my business to this store again is because of the way I saw a manager (Shanna) berate an employee in front of customers and other employees. It was was so horrible, unprofessional and unnecessary that I canceled my order and walked out. The girl she yelled at couldn't have been more than 16 and she was humiliated over a customer not knowing the difference between a stuffed pizza and a deep dish pizza and ordering the wrong thing then blaming her for their ignorance. The manager's response was to yell at the girl, demand her name tag and threaten to send her home. The worst thing was when the manager angrily sneered loud enough for us to hear, " I swear I can't with you! Are you retarded?". Yes, she said that word!!! I was so angry that I had to leave fast. We all have bad days and say things we regret but that was completely unacceptable and I hope the store manager or corporate deal with this verbally abusive woman. Service was sketchy at best, never too sure who our server actually was. Busser was content to completely reach over people to take whatever he needed, whether it be a plate of a salt shaker - Rude! The food was bland at best. We had salad and pizza, and neither were very good. The pizza was served hot but it was flavorless.
