Service and food was great. I had the special chili Omelette which tasted good. I would highly recommend.

Went at 11:30am on a SAT and they were not open. Disappointing as they claim to have donuts. Call first.

We had breakfast at Bee's the other day. It was terrific as usual. I had a monte cristo and a side of seasoned home fries.......perfection! The cheese between the two pieces of French toast was ooey gooey and there was plenty of ham in there as well. You can get it with sausage or bacon if you choose and an egg on top. The hubby got his usual variety of sides. Bacon, seasoned home fries and cinnamon raisin toast. Bacon is always crisp with a nice smokey flavor. Coffee is refilled on the regular and is hot and fabulous. We love a good traditional diner and this is our favorite! They always greet you the second you walk in and by the time you are settled into your booth, the steaming cups of coffee are already heading your way. So sit back and let them do their thing giving you a great start to your day. We have never had lunch here but that part of the menu looks pretty great too! read more

On a random motorcycle trip my girlfriend and I stopped here for a quick bite. When we first got there it didn't appear to be open, but after contemplating to go in or not, we entered, discovered the place had a nice outdoors screened in porch overlooking the river and for the two of us for lunch and drinks was under 6 bucks!!!! couldn't beat the price and the food was good! the staff was very friendly and we got to see the signed diner counter with the stars autographs from empire falls series! word to the wise CASH ONLY!!! read more

What an absolute gem of a diner.To state the obvious: You can't go wrong for the money whatsoever, but it doesn't stop there. You get so much more like great homemade food and the friendliest, most genuinely kind service. I ordered the fish chowder, which was on special this past Friday as well as the hand cut fries and the bread pudding and was thoroughly satisfied. I was impressed that this little diner used recyclable, paper-based containers for their carryout orders as well. I live in Chicago, but you can bet that I'll stop in at Bee's whenever I'm back in the Winslow area!! read more

ARGGH -- I keep needing to remember never to believe Yelp when the population nearby gets thin! We wanted a non-chain lunch. This had 4-starts -- that's more items than are on the menu for lunch that might be edible. I don't consider American chop suey an edible item. It took an hour after we left to get the smell of rancid grease out of our clothes. (please don't ask why we didn't just walk out without ordering! I haven't figured that out yet). That french fries were edible and the frozen scallops were at least defrosted and cooked. The restroom is something special. Have you ever been in one where there are 2 doors, and the 2nd one opens onto the kitchen with no way to lock from inside? Now I have. And who needs 2 slices of Sunbeam bread smeared with oleo to go along with fried fish and french fries? Not a single thing remotely resembling a fruit or a vegetable on the entire menu. read more

Quaint lil place they r not someplace u would frequent as it is so tiny but it's been there through the flood of 1987 .. Give it a try if they mess up they fix it up if u look at them intensely .. The first reviewer has it right. Greasy spoon. Featured on Empire Falls. Cheap. Inartfully cooked (over easy eggs might come broken when put on the plate). Good muffins. There are better joints in Oakland and Fairfield and Waterville too, but this little place has its own charm. I like coming back. read more
