Erica's is the best breakfast and lunch spot I have found in Waterville in the surrounding areas. It is excellent and a step above all other options.. The menu is very creative, very tasty and the specials are always new interesting and delicious. The service is great. Friendly and competent. The seating is ample and very spacious and it's spotlessly clean and the vibe is nice. read more

Erica's seems very popular with the locals and many were greeted as regulars upon arrival. I was pleased with my meal of traditional corned beef and cabbage which was a large portion for lunch from the weekly specials menu. I was not happy when the two tables that arrived after me were both served their food before me. Hopefully this is an aberration. The concept of a flight of pancakes intrigues me and I will likely return one day to try it. read more

Erica’s - Weekly special for March 15, 2026. It's the corn beef and cabbage for me. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Waterville, Maine

Greeted promptly It was busy and everyone looked like they were having a nice time. We were a larger party that just finished a cleaning party at work. Next time I will do a mimosa flight I got a regular mimosa which was great and a Greek omelette (no toast by choice) everything was flavorful and fresh good portions the seasoned potatoes were great the omelette was cooked perfectly. Rachael was our server and bartender she made great drinks, all of our food came out perfect, Bloody Marys were also very well made. Area was kept manicured (very attentive not overbearing staff). Rachael is a really great team player and server 10/10 Music selection was great, other staff was very kind, busy but not cramped. Great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch! read more

I drove up from Augusta to check this place out because I was told it was a nice place to eat.Great service. Very good food. I'd recommend the restaurant. read more

We came for Sunday brunch, and as expected there was a bit of a wait to be seated (always a good sign!). Once we were seated, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was great! I had an omelette, and my husband had the steak bomb breakfast burrito. Our coffee was never less than half full, and I definitely want to try one of their spiked coffee flights next time! Make this a stop if you're looking for a cute homey diner near the children's museum! read more

GREAT FOOD and Really nice people working here. We have had a meal here and take out. I definitely recommend eating in if you can, the food is so good, unfortunately when you take out, it's good, but after traveled it's just not as good - because of transporting it in closed containers. So many offerings, sweet, savory and healthy options. Something for everyone. The service was quick, accurate and friendly. We love the pancakes, the biscuits and gravy, the chicken and waffles and the corned beef hash. I love breakfast and this is definitely my go-to place when we are in the area. Plenty of parking, although it does get crowded A lot of seating and it does fill up fast. I hope to be able to come back in the warmer weather, as it looks like they have a decent patio. read more

A very popular breakfast spot with lots of creative dishes on the menu. They are very accommodating for different sized groups. Lots of interesting coffee and mimosa flights (which we didn't try just saw other ppl order) the coffee was good, service was great. Food was good! Wish there were fresh fruit options. They do have real maple syrup! read more

I found this place by accident one day. I took my kiddo first, then brought a few more friends over the next few months. Yesterday I took my bestie. She ordered the tuna salad. I had the scramble. The minion created her own breakfast. Food is fantastic. Drinks, amazing. Staff, top notch! Crystal is the best waitress! So bring your mom, take your nana out for a date... or solo feed your face. You will not be disappointed. read more

The restaurant sits on the main road, and is not far from the highway. It is also easy to spot and has a nice amount of parking. There really is no waiting area, so they take your name and number to contact you when your table is ready. We stopped here for a father's day breakfast and it was busy as to be expected. It was about a 45 min wait to sit down. We chose to wait and we did sit close to that time frame. Walking in I did notice not many tables were eating so I immediately got concerned about how fast the food would come out. We were greeted promptly when we were sat for breakfast. Our server did not write anything down which always nice. However we joined in what seemed to be the entire restaurant, not eating. We waited around 45-50 mins for our food to arrive. Some of it sat under heat lamps while the rest was prepared. We ordered a short stack of strawberry pancakes, breakfast burrito and a waffle with blueberries. The waffle seemed to have sat too long, while it did come out warm, the exterior lacked that slight crispness I like, and it was hard to cut and pull apart. While the server was friendly and did not write anything down, she did not come back at all to check on us, apologize for the wait, or try to see she could get us anything while we waited. We kind of felt forgotten. Overall it was just ok, maybe it's better on a day where it's not as busy. Dunno, probably wont return. read more

This place was perfect! I went with my boyfriend for a brunch, and they had such delicious menu items and plenty of drink options as well. I got the Traditional Eggs Benedict and it was amazing!! (with homemade hollandaise sauce too!). My boyfriend got the everything omelette with toast and potatoes, he let me have a bite and the omelette was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The seating is very cozy and the servers are very kind and welcoming! Highly recommend Erica's in Maine! read more

The food here is good. It's a nice little spot. But the prices keep going up with no increase in the quality of the food. Eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon are a basic staple. You are in for $18-$20 to start if that is your order. Fine dining prices with mid-level food. Really unfortunate. The service is always great. read more

Stopped for breakfast with my son. The eggs in the omelet were real not powdered and had plenty of bacon and cheese! The restaurant is clean and bright looking. Service was good despite only 2 servers. I will definitely eat here again. read more

This place came highly recommended to us. We were so incredibly disappointed. The service was not great. Most of our order sat under the heat lamps for 10 minutes while the rest was prepared. My waffles were soggy and my chicken was dry. read more

First time there! Love the food! We all had some form of the Eggs Benedict. Delicious especially the homemade cornedbeef hash. The Server was polite and smiley and the over all atmosphere exuded some fine humor! By the way you can get a great bloodymary or margarita at breakfast too! read more

Erica’s - Funny - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Waterville, Maine

A wildly substandard and overpriced dining experience. Food comparable to a cheap motel continental, indignantly cast before underpowered warming lamps and served with the display and grandeur of a wet paper bag. Thirteen dollar cocktails, home fries from a freezer bag, and eggs that smacked of powdered rations reminiscent of the calamities suffered in Normandy or some trench in Vietnam. Consider alternative dining. A breakfast should never be a tragedy. read more

Well prepared food with a great menu. Can get crowded but has quick turnover. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

Erica's is top notch breakfast! Their flights and omelettes are incredible. The service and environment is very comfortable and respectful. Highly recommend. read more

Seriously the world's slowest service. I had a view of the cooks and they were grabbing bacon with their bare hands to place on plates.

We've been trying out different lunch spots in our new area and thought we'd try this since it had good reviews. It's very clean and service is quick. I ordered the avocado tuna salad and there was no avocado! I would have said something to the server but they never came by to check on our table. The tuna was good but the veggies were a bit tired. The price was also higher than the other lunch places we tried that week, making me really miss that avocado! My partner got the chicken and waffles, which were about average. We will definitely be trying other lunch places in the area. read more

Horrible service, had to ask for coffee three times. The food sat under lights, dry, when finally got it, will not be back.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Erica's this week. We were promptly seated at a nice table and were greeted by a friendly waitress. The wait for our food was a bit long due to the storm which was highly understandable. My wife got a delicious vegetable omelet and I got one with meat and veggies. Both were huge and tasty. They came with fantastic home fries and toast. I happened to glance over to the next table and will definitely get the Irish eggs Benedict next time. The bloody Mary's also looked amazing and will be on my future list. The only downside was that every time the door opened the entire place was treated to an icy blast. Other than that it was amazing and a must for breakfast in the Waterville area. read more

Food is okay.. but had to wait more than 15 mins for a coffee refill. Our waitress didn't even check on us to see if we need anything after serving food and she is too distracted. "Crystal20" was our waitress.. got this info from the receipt. I had to ask other waitress to get me a coffee after waiting for 15 mins.. "one bad apple ruins the bunch". Later she apologized but disappointing!! read more

We were looking for a great breakfast spot. Everything around here seems to be a drive so as we were on way I was thinking 'these yelp reviews better be right!' Well they were. Loved the food! The biscuits and gravy were outstanding. Maybe the best I've ever had! My crepes with raspberries were delicious! Everyone devoured their food and we ordered a lot! Also, breakfast cocktails! Look at my pictures! I'm reading some negative reviews and cracking up because they are saying portions are small! Nope. Great portion sizes! read more

Came here at 10:30 for some breakfast, had a lovely server, got our coffees and started chatting a bit. Fast forward TWO HOURS LATER at 12:30 we finally got our food. Biscuits and Gravy, and the Buenos Dias Burrito. Burrito was soggy and flavorless, as was the gravy for the biscuits. It literally tasted like warm mush. Again, the server we had was a lovely woman and I could TELL how upset and bothered she was by how the restaurant was running. We could overhear more guests complain. And the servers having to fight with the kitchen staff. They need better and properly trained cooks. Will not eat here again. read more

Had breakfast here. Omelets were good. French toast is not recommended- no flavor, almost no powdered sugar and the strawberries were mushy because they had been frozen and thawed out. read more

We were Very disappointed. The waffle was terrible. Heavy and with a strange flavor. It tasted like bad pancake batter. $6.95 was wasted. Eggs were flavorless . Home fries were bland cubes of potato English muffin was heavy and doused in grease from grilling Server never asked us how our food was even when we barely touched the waffle. Will not return The four star reviews are bogus. read more

When I went with a big group of us the food came quickly and the serving staff was kind; the flights of Long Island iced coffees are amazing and the food tasted very good; the only thing keeping this from a 5 star is the fact that the portions were a little on the small side. read more

I had the pleasure of going to Erica's for the first time and was totally impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the establishment. I had Rachel as my server. First time diners here, and the ideal diner experience. Greeted within seconds of walking through the door. The staff were all friendly, smiling, and eager to help. Decor is minimalstic with lots of light, works well with the small tables and room layout. Everyone was smiling, waitress was extremely attentive and engaging, and even noticed it was our first time here. The menu was excellent, and the food was delicious to the last bite. We arrived a little past 1:00 (they close at 2) and we still had timely service. We ordered breakfast (all day serving) and the food was still fresh and hearty. Highly recommended, will come again. read more

Not suitable for business travelers!! I travel for work and do a lot of catching up while I'm out for a meal. When it looks like it wouldn't be inconvenient for the restaurant, I will ask for a larger 4 seat table so I have room to spread out and work comfortably while I dine. I walked in to Eric's this morning and it was empty except for 2 tables. When I was taken to a two seat table, I asked if I could please sit at the next table, a 4 seat. I explained I needed to work on my iPad and could use the extra space. She pointed to another 2 seat nearby and said "I can put you there". I said "well that's the same as this small one. If I can't sit at the larger table I guess I'll just sit here". Clearly she didn't misunderstand what I was requesting and just didn't care to accommodate me. I really don't think it was too much to ask. I won't be back. read more
