We ordered a traditional Maine style mayo lobster roll and a buttered lobster roll for comparison. The traditional Maine style mayo lobster roll was absolutely perfect! Just enough mayo to bind the fresh, plump, tender sweet cold water lobster meat. Oh and no fillers, just lobster meat (mostly tender sweet knuckle/claw meat, mmmmm) and just the right amount of mayo. Same for buttered lobster roll, just the right amount of clarified butter as a binder. No need to overpower the fresh delicate flavor of tender cold water lobster from Maine waters. Both lobster rolls were presented on an over stuffed buttered and grilled hot dog style roll. Plated with fresh, hot ,skin on shoestring fries and some house made slaw. Delicious! Both rolls perfect!
