After wanting to argue and tell us it wasn't an IPA, she leaves and comes back and tells us that it was in fact an IPA and gave us a bud light. We thought it was all over after this, it wasn't. She then continues to act rude throughout the whole interaction and was not attentive to our table whatsoever. Then it came time for the bill. She quickly comes over and says yeah I'll get you boxes and then runs off, we wanted to let her know we wanted 3 separate checks. When she comes back we let her know this and she says well I'll try to remember what you guys had, when we offered to write it down for her since we didn't know it was such a hassle. We then decide to pay for it on one check, when my friend nicely goes down to do this she says "Yeah, the way you should have done it in the first place." Well it wasn't, when we are walking back to our car from the gas station, she screams over another group of people at us "THANKS FOR THE 10 PERCENT TIP!" This one was lightly roasted and full of flavor served with a side of blue cheese dressing. Because it was happy hour (which is 4 to 630 on Thursday, Friday and Monday), we were able to order a two topping pizza for $17. The mushroom and ham topping was just right everything was cooked perfectly. We have our own Ooni Koda 16 pizza oven, and I make my own dough, so we're pretty particular about pizza. Everything about the pizza is just right though, sauce, toppings, and the bake in the pizza oven in the back. I'm definitely gonna be a regular here just for the pizza. We each got a glass of wine to have with the pizza, and my wife's white wine was pretty good, but my red had probably been open more than one or two days prior and wasn't especially great. I hope that the owners invest in a nitrogen in ear system of some sort - they're not expensive or hard to use. They have a bakery case and they have a freezer to the left as you walk in that contains, more savory meal, soup, chowder options for take away. We didn't try any of those this trip since. We thought we would start with the baked good offerings. Our favorites were: brown butter maple pecan danish (the maple was soooo good) and the blueberry lemon scone. It's counter service take out. Everything is neat and tidy and clearly labeled. I look forward to returning to try, bread, an entree or a breakfast sandwich. The panko shrimp were large with a crisp outer crust, the Santa Fe burger was flavorful, and the haddock was cooked perfectly. I had a Bissell Brothers IPA and a Trillium IPA. Both were great beers, but they were served in the "fancy glasses," and after checking the volume against a pint water glass, it was clear they weren't full pours. The Trillium was roughly 12 oz and the Bissell around 10 oz. When I asked, I was told they change the volume based on alcohol content. At $9 a glass, I expect a full pint unless otherwise stated. To show the difference in pour size, I took water from the pint‑size Coke glass and poured it into the "fancy" beer glass they used for my IPAs. The fancy glass filled up, and the water left behind in the pint glass is the amount of beer you don't get with their short pours. It clearly shows the fancy glass only holds about 10-12 oz, and the remaining water in the pint glass represents the missing beer compared to a full 16‑oz pint. Essentially, a 12 oz pour means you're being shorted one‑quarter of a beer. At that rate, a full pint would cost $12. And with a 10 oz pour, a full pint would work out to $14.40. Everything else was excellent, but the beer pour practice feels misleading. Most people ordering draft beer expect a pint, and the menu doesn't indicate otherwise. Great food and service, but the beer pours should be clearly disclosed. I recommend eating here, just ask for a pint glass!
