I've been going to Bee's Nails for at least 9 years. The original owners ran a tight ship and then new owners took over. At first it was not so good. They had men doing the mani/pedi which I don't care for -- so for awhile I stopped going and got my mani/pedi somewhere else. Then they returned to just the women, which I prefer. Lynn, the owner is a sweetheart. They try to do all they can to accommodate and are always friendly and never pushy. Their pedicures are wonderful. Great massage, etc. They could do a little better with updating their shop, for example, they need to fix up the nail drying area. . . but I know that costs money and running a business isn't easy nor cheap -- so I do understand. All in all, I like going to Bee's Nails and actually prefer going to Bee's Nails over the one nail place even closer to where I live. They are always very courteous, kind hearted, they do decent nail work and are fair. (They also do a good job of waxing.) read more

Went in for a manicure and was very disappointed. I went in yesterday for a manicure, easy right? Well first they didn't soak my fingers in a soapy bowl she just went right to filing and clipping. Then she didn't even cover my whole nail when she painted them I can see my nails on the sides. It was a rushed shoddy job. And on top of that there were flies everywhere! I'm so glad I didn't get a pedicure any place that has that many flies can't be sanitary. I won't be going back! read more

This is the worst and most unprofessional nail place ever! I went to go get my nails done, and by the end of the next day after getting them done the gel polish was already chipping off. So, I went back in the next day, after I called and told them the nails were messed up, and she sat me down. She told me over the phone she would re-do them no charge. But that turned into a "we're not responsible" response. Then she cut my nails and told me that was all she could do. I had to demand a refund in order to get one. The lady that dd my nails today was rushing and even tore my big toe nail. She didn't even smooth out the spot she had torn before she polished. It looked like a 2 year old with Parkinson's did my toes it was horrible!!! I was so mad I was shaking, had to go out side and call the number on the window they brought me back in and someone else fixed the first crappy job. The nails have a horrible shape there's no fixing that. The lady that division my eyebrows did a great job. They promised a free ultimate pedi next time, I don't want or need something free just what I paid for. This is my favorite place! And believe me I've trolled my snagged cuticles and hangnails all up and down Fulton Ave. on my lunch hour like no ones business! They're all friendly, they have great service, walkins aren't a problem, and the price for a manicure is just $10! I normally go to upscale spas to get pedicures and spend upwards of $60. I decided that I can do without paying extra for the ambiance most of the time, so I had been looking for a place that offered high quality pedicures without the high prices. This was my first visit to Bee's Nails and I have to say that I was totally impressed. It was exactly what I was looking for. I got the $25 pedicure, which came with a long massage and either a sugar scrub or paraffin dip. Great deal, right? Here's my take on Bee's Nails: The good... -- Great quality pedicure! Way better than any of the upscale spas I've frequented. She was very detail oriented. She scrubbed and scrubbed my feet until they were super soft, which is usually my biggest complaint with other places. The polish job was also a lot better than other places. -- Great value! $25 for a 55 minute pedicure with fantastic results- can't go wrong there. I wonder if they're normally that long, though. There was only one other customer in there at the time, so I'm wondering if they would still take 55 minutes with me if they were busy- probably not. -- Great location! It's not in one of those cheap strip malls next to a dollar store. It's next door to Trader Joe's and in the same shopping center as several upscale shops and restaurants. -- Convenient! Again, I'm comparing this to upscale spas where you have to have an appointment. Being able to just stop by on my way home from work in awesome! The not so good... -- Lackluster ambiance. It's not a spa, it's a nail salon. -- The technicians are constantly chatting, joking, and laughing loudly. I know that's typical in a Vietnamese nail salon, but it sort of takes away from the experience a bit when you're trying to relax. I decided that next time I'll just bring my iPod. -- The technicians don't always ask you how you like your toenails (long or short, round or square), so I suggest that you just let them know up front. I didn't have a problem with it but the woman next to me did- I think he cut her toenails too short for her taste. read more

I really hate to give a bad review of this pace because the lady that did my nails was very sweet and kind. However this was a terrible full set. First off, the lady(not the one who did my nails) told me it would be 15 minutes. No problem as I was a walk in. I did not get to a chair for 45 minutes. Still. While frustrated I still somewhat understood. I then got my full set done which took a LONG time for such a bad job. About an hour. I said I'd like very square nails but as you can tell they are not square. They aren't oval, I don't know what they are.... they are so uneven. The tips are all different sizes. Then the gel polish came which looks so bumpy and bad. The glue was also all over my fingers and under the nails. I spent 43 dollars plus tip which ends up being about 50 bucks... I tipped because I think the lady did truly try but she just doesn't know what she's doing. The first 3 pics are the day of. The last corner pic on bottom is 5 days later. One already fell off. I will be getting them taken off and replaced tomorrow at a new place. read more

Love this place. I've been getting my nails (acrylics) and toes done here for almost 2 years by the same woman and am a huge fan. They are all friendly, there is a good selection of gel polish, very reasonably priced and I always get an amazing foot massage with my pedicure. I've read a lot of negative reviews and have sat in there a few times and understood why people would get mad but come on now, ANY nail shop has issues (some friendlier than others, bad manicure etc) - but my personal experience has been wonderful and I always recommend them when someone asks me where I get my nails done. read more

Literally every time I go here I'm treated with awful customer service. Today I walked in and the lady said it would be 20-30 since two people were getting pedicures and the other a manicure. Okay, no problem. I'm not in a rush. However, as I'm sitting there a lady walks in and the the nail lady who was giving a pedicure walks away and starts working on the ladies nails... uhh, okay. So now the other lady has two pedicures to do before even starting mine. I completely lost it when the nail lady who was doing the manicure finished and a walk in came in two minutes before and she took her instead of me when at this point I had waited about 45 minutes. Never again. I hate this place. It needs to be shut down. Awful awful customer service. Went in to get pedicure and nails done which I'm pretty sure is called a manicure. I did deluxe pedicure first and they barley rubbed my feet they rubbed my legs, toes came out good then once it got time for nails they were only going to clean up my nails and apply nail polish I had to tell them to give me fake nails the lady started quickly but took over an hour to do them and she left my hands with fiberglass powder all over my finger as posted in my pictures and they lady told me it would come off in the shower, since I wanted ombré with glitter I was told it will cost extra $10 but if i did full nails with glitter it wouldn't cost extra which didn't make sense since it's less polish. Once I paid I realized she didn't use the same color as my toes. I've already been there over my limit to get it fixed and was not pleased with the powder all over my fingers so I left. This is about the 4th time I have used Bee's Nails. Today I had a pedicure and waxing. FABULOUS JOB. Reasonable Price. My sister, mom and I go get our nails done together. We are looking for a new place. I don't know why I keep getting distracted to other places but I get to choose this time and Bee's Nails will be our permanent spot. As long as they keep prices reasonable, great service and clean- I am a forever customer. The person doing my pedicure was very detailed and didn't take short cuts. The massage on my feet and calves was so relaxing. She valued me as a customer. The person doing the waxing knew exactly what she was doing, was very skilled and customer friendly. Been going to Bee's Nails for 2 years and when the Shlek gel manicure came out, I was excited. I knew these women and men and thought that this would be just as perfect or close as all the other time. i mean your doing something right if I come to you for 2 years. i don't even care which technician does the job since they are all very good. 1st time was new for the crew so even though my nails were bubbly, the manicure itself was looking good. Lynn and Cindy were apologetic and fixed. GREAT!!! Been doing the Shlek 8 or 9 times, but this guy Andy really made me hate my nails and Bee's Nails. First Andy didn't ask what shape or length of my nails I desired. Just chopped them all off and then when I said something, he says, " You don't want them American?". What the F*** does that mean?! Now Andy is taking off the polish from my last Shlek job and doesn't do it the way it is normally done by the others, but the end result is the same. Okay. The whole time, Cindy is sitting next to Andy and doesn't notice this desecreation occuring. In the end, by nails looked like they were bleeding. Too short, polish is splotchy in spots, faint in others, and Shlek spots all over my hands. I had to walk outside and breathe. Seeing the evidence in sunlight was even worse. Andy says he has done this many times and 1st time this ever happened. Don't lie to me after you've screwed me! We fix tomorrow. NO!! You take it off my nails now! I didn't give Andy a chance and once he stripped my nails, I left. Love Lynn to come out to my car and offer a refund or fix job, but 1st time my fault, 2nd time yours. Moral of the horror: Ask only for Cindy or don't get Andy. P.S. Andy cut so short that they had broken down to the meat of my finger so I can't go to another manicurist till they grow out. read more

I had a pedicure done in a salon. The guy cut my toenails too short and rounded them. I end up with an infection of my left toe. I went to the nail shop to speak with the ownr Jasmine was nand I was given, who wasn't there. Turns out her real name is Bea Dong. All I asked for was a FULL refund of total amount I spent that day plus a days worth of pay for having to miss work to see my doctor that confirmed my toe was infected. I never got to speak to the owner and I never asked for my medical bills and medication costs. I tried to work it out no deal! They wanted to give me $100, they refused to give me their license # and their insurance information. The worst experience in my life! Needless to say, I'm taking further action. They showed no compassion or care for the crappy services I paid for! read more
