My birthday girl, Julie, was getting pampered as I arrived to Bee's nails. The music was playing, Julie was smiling while getting her nails filled and I was finally making my entrance. I sat with Julie and we laughed as she decided on an adult color to go with instead of our awesome neon colors we love to do. I was only sitting next to Julie for a few minutes when my pedicure massage chair was ready. Wendy was my nail technician. Silly me... I still hadn't picked a color. There are hundreds of good choices. In the mean time, Wendy handed me a book with 3 choices of which kind of pedicure I wanted. I went with the mid, which included a luxurious leg scrub, paffrin wax, and a very nice deep leg massage. She rolled my feet around, scrubbed them.. rubbed lotion into them... the massage was the best one i have ever had! Then she let a coworker take over because she had an appointment show up. I didn't get that woman's name, but by the time they swapped out, I had finally decided on a color that matches me... dark with a little bit of love.. I mean red, lol... she did a wonderful job. Julie was sitting next to me also getting a pedicure after her nails were filled. We both got to enjoy an "adult beverage" together while we were being pampered. I had a mimosa while she had red wine... COMPLEMENTARY!!! Hero did Julie's nail technician. Julie picked a polish that can be altered with a magnet. That was neat. Her nails turned out gorgeous! If your looking to be pampered in a luxurious setting, whether you are by yourself or with a small group of friends, you must absolutely give Bee's Nails a try. Super bummed because I do like this place. Wendy did my pedicure and caused bleeding during my gel pedicure. She removed a lot of the skin surrounding my toenail and decided to place it on my knee following to show me what she took out... She stated it was an ingrown, and needed it to be removed. I don't think nail techs have the licensure to remove an ingrown cause it can cause infection and other issues. I told her I did not want it removed but she still did it stating this was part of the cuticle removal. I was in pain following my appointment and it has been red and painful to touch. Would not recommend you to be serviced by her. She was pushy and I did not feel comfortable. read more

Love this place . They're so nice every picture inspiration I showed them they have done with no problem. They get me in and out I always love that here and there's somebody to choose from everybody in. There is so nice and accommodating. The vibe is really right and nice. Very good energy. Not to mention, my nails and toes look good a long time after two I've been going to Vivian and she's really good, but I bought my nails and a pedicure with other people before and they are good as well. I have been going here for so many years. Once sold, it was still good, then very good. Now they have new tables and lights over every table, very nice. However, the services provided are beyond substandard. I had the person "fix" 3 things before I gave up. It was literally a painful experience due to the many cuts I received when she ground off the previous polish. The dark color she ground off actually got stuck and painted into the underside of one of my nails! She also caused some bleeding, then proceeded to paint the blood into the polish. Of the 10 fingernails painted, none were painted completely. I don't do reviews. This is not only an exception, but this is the reason I have to find a new place to go. read more

BUYER BEWARE Mr. V, We just left your store and was told you won't be back from Vietnam for months. My daughter got acrylics and your worker botched it to the point my daughter needed topical antibiotics. We let it heal and went back to remove them. We were treated so bad. When they went to remove them, your worker shoved a metal tool under her nail and she screamed. We left. We have been customers for years but your establishment is now a joke with unprofessional workers. read more

It was a strange experience. I only needed a polish change, which I I'm guessing g isn't very profitable, so I always tip well. I still tipped 33% but I won't go back. The technician used a drill on my nails after I asked her not to, and she did't even put on a top coat. Just to start off making an appointment was so easy and I got there a little early too look at colors for my nails and just to kinda sit so I wasn't late, the offered me water or a tea while I looked and didn't rush me into the chair. My manicurist was Koi and he is now my go to nail man. So gentle but he took his time on laying the acrylic and shaping them to perfection. Don't go here. Unsanitary above all, but also bad work. I never get my nails done and usually do them at home by myself. The woman who did my manicure cut my cuticle and continued to paint over it. I wish I had just walked out then. There was no sanitizing or asking me to wash my hands or anything. Overall my manicure looked worse off than if I had just done them at home, but really the biggest red flag came from just moving on even though I was bleeding the whole time. I went in to fix this nail (1) nail only that I had broken because of convenience tried this spot . I got a manicure with a guy and he was very aggressive which resulted in him cutting two of my fingers near the cuticle and he was clearly rushing to finish my nails which is disappointing because I paid 55 for them just for me not to like them. I should start off by saying I went here the first time a few months ago and had a less than ideal experience... but since it was an elderly woman, I cut her a break. I asked to have my eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. I should have known that when she didn't seem to know that the wax needed to be warmed up, that I should back away slowly. I started coming here again after not going in for a few years. I will say, the male manicurist does a great job. He takes his time and it seems like he enjoys doing it, but I have a big issue. I came here some years back and had a bad experience, so I stayed away for a while but I came back and instead of getting fake nails- I just wanted a basic manicure with regular polish- obviously expecting my real nails to come out fine. I used to get fake nails for a long time but I stopped getting them just to strengthen my real nails. At the time I came into Bee's, my real nails were lengthy, thick and strong and after getting a regular basic manicure here... they became thin, fragile and started breaking so easily. Within just days. Please stop putting acetone in your nail polishes, it ruins peoples nails and it creates bubbles in the polish after it dries- it just makes the whole nail visit absolutely pointless! This is from the googz: ''When acetone comes into contact with our fingernails, it can cause them to become weak, brittle, and more prone to breakage. It can also damage the surrounding skin, causing our cuticles to dry out. However, this doesn't happen to everyone.'' --- it happened to me almost right away. You guys actually inspired me to just start doing my own nails so thank you. All of my experiences here combined, I rate this place a 3.5/10, I won't be returning here again. read more

Two of my toes that were perfectly fine got infected and had to be treated after getting a pedicure. I have never had this happen at home or from a salon before. Went with two other people and one of them got a manicure too. After tip was 240.00. That's too high of a price to make sense of when you end up getting two toes infected. I've been getting my nails done since I was teen in SF and I can be exacting of how I want my nails done ...I've been coming here for a little over 3 years now and always receive great service. New owners and the staffing has changed a bit, but the quality of my nails and service is amazing still . I bring in one of my little ones to get her feet done sometimes and she hates to go to any other nail shop for it now (we only go somewhere else if it's busy) , they're very sociable with her and engaging. You receive a complimentary drink with service and an interesting Vietnamese food show is always on. I love the atmosphere, it's calming,relaxing, & smells good. I have asthma and with other shops in the past it seems to get triggered by fumes; not here! Conversation in shop with others going on is always appropriate with little one. If there's ever a problematic customer inside they shut it all the way down. Which is greatly appreciated in keeping the peaceful atmosphere consistent and mindful of little ones. My nail retention here is 3-4 weeks. Whatever inspo picture I've shown they get it right every time. I'm able to sit back/relax and not worry if it'll come out to my liking because they check in as they are doing it and know what they are doing and always willing to correct a mistake without scolding the customer. They've always been very kind and respectful from the first time I walked into the shop, it didn't feel like a rushed service of getting someone in & out. They asked how I'am and made the experience personable. Even with the partially new staffing it feels the same and outcomes of my nails are still great.
