I have been going here for so many years. Once sold, it was still good, then very good. Now they have new tables and lights over every table, very nice. However, the services provided are beyond substandard. I had the person "fix" 3 things before I gave up. It was literally a painful experience due to the many cuts I received when she ground off the previous polish. The dark color she ground off actually got stuck and painted into the underside of one of my nails! She also caused some bleeding, then proceeded to paint the blood into the polish. Of the 10 fingernails painted, none were painted completely. I don't do reviews. This is not only an exception, but this is the reason I have to find a new place to go. read more

Don't go here. Unsanitary above all, but also bad work. I never get my nails done and usually do them at home by myself. The woman who did my manicure cut my cuticle and continued to paint over it. I wish I had just walked out then. There was no sanitizing or asking me to wash my hands or anything. Overall my manicure looked worse off than if I had just done them at home, but really the biggest red flag came from just moving on even though I was bleeding the whole time. My nail is still bleeding at home. Avoid this place. read more

Just to start off making an appointment was so easy and I got there a little early too look at colors for my nails and just to kinda sit so I wasn't late, the offered me water or a tea while I looked and didn't rush me into the chair. My manicurist was Koi and he is now my go to nail man. So gentle but he took his time on laying the acrylic and shaping them to perfection. I went on Aug 2025. They are under brand new owner, his named is Andy. The entire shop has been cleaned, painted all the chairs are new and the staff are +5. The are kind, listen to your requests. So relaxing! What a pleasant find. We stumbled in here after shopping next door at Trader Joe's. This place is clean, relaxing, reasonably priced, and with great customer service. And their leg/foot massage is very good. I've already been back several times! Consider making an appointment during busier times, but they do take walk ins as well. read more

Zero stars . Beware! Go anywhere else but this spot . Let's start off saying, I don't ever complain and am very easy going . Also, I wish I would have read the reviews before I stopped in . I went in to fix this nail (1) nail only that I had broken because of convenience tried this spot . He only " fixed " 1 nail and butchered my nail . it's way closer than my usual spot which is the only reason I went to this spot . The guy who was doing my nails cut me and you can see blood and a nick that has the gel overlay. I almost ran out of there. It was a very painful experience . I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am now reading about similar experiences have been mentioned previous - it's all true . Very aggressive on the nails & now hoping I don't get an infection. This has never happened before at any other salon. First time coming here and as soon I walked in I didn't feel welcomed. I got a manicure with a guy and he was very aggressive which resulted in him cutting two of my fingers near the cuticle and he was clearly rushing to finish my nails which is disappointing because I paid 55 for them just for me not to like them. So if you plan on getting your nails done I would recommend maybe one of the lady's and not the guy (I don't know his name) I'm not sure if it was a bad day for him or something but I will not be returning :) read more

I should start off by saying I went here the first time a few months ago and had a less than ideal experience... but since it was an elderly woman, I cut her a break. I asked to have my eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. I should have known that when she didn't seem to know that the wax needed to be warmed up, that I should back away slowly. 2nd time since about 7 years I walk in this place because I am in the area. I just need powder fill with no tips because mine are long and healthy. It's been about 2 weeks since I last had them done at my usual place in West Sacramento. I still wanted to try this place out. Tech sits me down (on phone discussing plan charges from what I could hear) I start noticing her technique and process being totally different then what I am use to every two weeks. I noticed she is struggling with her own products (brush & polish to bond power) she only had one type of glitter . Fast forward, I loved the shape . Paid and tipped her. I woke up this morning- as I am making my bed I notice my nails like this ! I show up to place but no tech to assist. I started coming here again after not going in for a few years. I will say, the male manicurist does a great job. He takes his time and it seems like he enjoys doing it, but I have a big issue. I came here some years back and had a bad experience, so I stayed away for a while but I came back and instead of getting fake nails- I just wanted a basic manicure with regular polish- obviously expecting my real nails to come out fine. I used to get fake nails for a long time but I stopped getting them just to strengthen my real nails. At the time I came into Bee's, my real nails were lengthy, thick and strong and after getting a regular basic manicure here... they became thin, fragile and started breaking so easily. Within just days. Please stop putting acetone in your nail polishes, it ruins peoples nails and it creates bubbles in the polish after it dries- it just makes the whole nail visit absolutely pointless! This is from the googz: ''When acetone comes into contact with our fingernails, it can cause them to become weak, brittle, and more prone to breakage. It can also damage the surrounding skin, causing our cuticles to dry out. However, this doesn't happen to everyone.'' --- it happened to me almost right away. You guys actually inspired me to just start doing my own nails so thank you. All of my experiences here combined, I rate this place a 3.5/10, I won't be returning here again. read more

Two of my toes that were perfectly fine got infected and had to be treated after getting a pedicure. I have never had this happen at home or from a salon before. Went with two other people and one of them got a manicure too. After tip was 240.00. That's too high of a price to make sense of when you end up getting two toes infected. I've been getting my nails done since I was teen in SF and I can be exacting of how I want my nails done ...I've been coming here for a little over 3 years now and always receive great service. New owners and the staffing has changed a bit, but the quality of my nails and service is amazing still . I bring in one of my little ones to get her feet done sometimes and she hates to go to any other nail shop for it now (we only go somewhere else if it's busy) , they're very sociable with her and engaging. You receive a complimentary drink with service and an interesting Vietnamese food show is always on. I love the atmosphere, it's calming,relaxing, & smells good. I have asthma and with other shops in the past it seems to get triggered by fumes; not here! Conversation in shop with others going on is always appropriate with little one. If there's ever a problematic customer inside they shut it all the way down. Which is greatly appreciated in keeping the peaceful atmosphere consistent and mindful of little ones. My nail retention here is 3-4 weeks. Whatever inspo picture I've shown they get it right every time. I'm able to sit back/relax and not worry if it'll come out to my liking because they check in as they are doing it and know what they are doing and always willing to correct a mistake without scolding the customer. They've always been very kind and respectful from the first time I walked into the shop, it didn't feel like a rushed service of getting someone in & out. They asked how I'am and made the experience personable. Even with the partially new staffing it feels the same and outcomes of my nails are still great. Just want to say that I really really love Bee's Nails. I was in there this evening and there was a really difficult customer and her mom (I'm assuming). It didn't get awkward until the mom walked in and demanded the work was re-done. I wish I'd said something to defend the staff but I figure I'll do that here. Came here because I desperately needed to have my dip powder taken off. The lady got the mail drill and basically drilled my nails so much that the nails bed now hurt :( they kept saying my dip powder was done too thick like they didn't file it. So I guess that's why she had to drill the mail so much but man, now my nails are suffering. She was able to get everything mostly off after the drill and using acetone. But now my nails are super sensitive and are recovering. They also charged me more than I would've been charged in Folsom or EDH. read more

What I only don't like about this place was they tells you a price and you thought that's how much your going to pay at the end, they suddenly they speak their language and the price all of a sudden goes up to $10 or $15 more dollars.
