My sister and I decided to go to Bees nails today to get our nails done. My sister has the fiber glass nails and wanted a fill, and I just wanted a simple manicure. When we walked in they asked us what we wanted, they sat my sister down right away while i stood there for a few minutes wondering if they were going to help me. Then a man working there told me to have a seat "over there" while waving his hand not making it very clear where he wanted me, then he walked away. I just picked a seat, he came and sat across from me and said "I give you a fiber glass with white tip it looks good" I pointed to the nail polish I brought with me and said "no I would just like a manicure" he then said "fiber glass is pretty I will do it for you" I again said "no thank you I would just like a manicure" he then pointed at my sister and said "don't you think her nails are pretty?" I said "yes, but I would just like a regular manicure" and he says "just polish?" and I said "yes". He's working on my manicure and has me soak my hands in water, he then picks up a roll of toilet paper and uses it to dry my hands off. He says to me "I will put a flower on this finger and this finger" I said to him somewhat firmly "I would just like the polish" and he says "ok fine" and rushes through the rest of my manicure, I ended up with squares nails that are un-even and a sloppy paint job. Meanwhile my sister hands the manicurest her nail polish and the manicurest laughs at it. while my sister is getting her nails done she turns to talk to me and the lady whacks her hand with the nail filer and says "hold still or I will mess up" my sister and I just wanted to chat a little. We were shocked by the poor customer service. Needless to say we will never be returning. read more

I had come here occasionally for pedicures, and had no problem. My office is having a big Christmas party, so I decided to get a mani-pedi and eyebrow wax. The pedicure and wax were fine. However, one day later, the polish on my fingernails was peeling off. My nails were anywhere from 25% - 100% "naked" by the end of the day. I called that morning and nicely explained the problem. I was told to come in later to have it fixed at no charge. I was leaving work at 6:00 pm, told the woman I could be there by 6:30. She said someone else had an appointment at that time, could I be there at 7:00? I said yes. I arrived 5 minutes early, and the shop was closed. Needless to say, I will not be going back. read more

I always go to Lorraine and she is friendly, does good work, and gives an amazing leg and foot massage with her pedicures. Her polish is carefully applied and lasts a long time. I have had a few pedicures with some of the other workers, and have had no cause to complain with any of them. I have moved out of Arden/Arcade but still come over here for my toes. read more

Normally I do pedicures myself, but I've been so worn out lately I just didn't feel like doing it. I pass by this place often on my way to Trader Joe's and have never noticed that horrible chemical smell that often comes out of nail salon's so I thought I would give them a try. I walked in, said I'd like a spa pedicure, and about 10 minutes later I was being seated in one of the massage chairs. The nail tech was not chatty which was nice because my goal was just to relax. The water was perfect. Not super hot, not ice cold, but very soothing and just right for loosening dead skin. The nail tech did a decent job trimming my nails and cleaning up my cuticles, but I didn't feel like there was much scrubbing/exfoliating. The massage was the best part and lots of pressure points in my feet were stimulated. The polishing itself was a little disappointing since apparently this place prefers to only paint one coat instead of two. The total was $20, which is surprisingly cheap. Overall I'd say this place is good for a last minute pedicure, but not ideal if you want something more pampering. read more

This place has terrible service. I wish I read the reviews before coming. The male hasn't said a word and is huffing and yawning the whole time. It smells like sewage in here. There's some soap opera blaring in the back. Only one other customer and it's taken 30 min just to get started. Crappy massage and pedicure all around. I won't be returning. I would suggest to management that the key to success is customer service, not acting like your customers are an inconvenience. read more

Received a wonderful pedicure! She used a callous removing gel to help get my heels baby soft and gave me a long leg massage. I felt she was very careful and really took her time. Clean, comfortable shop. But you won't find new chairs here. read more

Went here for a pedi instead of my usual spot because of time, went in on a Sunday & it wasn't busy, they sat me down right away. The girl giving my pedi was super sweet & chatty the whole time (I'm totally ok with that). Standard pedi came with a salt scrub, I was a fan of that. Over all pretty good pedi. She didn't do as much "manicuring" to my cuticles and dead skin on my toes that I feel my other place does. The massage was eh, no arm strength in it at all - just kind of rubbed her hands around my calves and feet and not for too long. And the massage is my favorite part. So overall, good job, but it confirms why I go to my usual spot on the regular. read more

I originally had an appointment somewhere else but couldnt make it due to an emergency. This was my next option. I never get pampered with a mani/pedi because im somewhat of a tomboy and work retail so they're going to get ruined eventually. This place was amazing. Great massage, color and detail. I went to this saloon on 2/12/12 and I had an awful experience! My pedi was alright she rushed it and was done in 15-20 mins. My nails were absolutely terrible! A guy did them he cut underneath my nail and it was gushing blood and continued to try and do it more. He cut my nails WAYY to short it does not even look like I have tips on and they were not even filed straight! I told him I wanted a clear pink color and he put like almost a clear red and would not fix it said he was going to charge me to fix it and that he was busy! I was in there wit a friend and her nails looked really cute so the guy doing hers fixed mine no problem a little bit. I still hate my nails though and would never ever go back there ever again! I have been going to a place for 3 years in Folsom and now i know why i never go anywhere else cause they all SUCK!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! read more

OMG.. I have never been so disappointed in getting my nails done before.. and this was just THE most horrible experience I have ever had..(1) The ladies all spoke in Vietnamese, which gave me a complex because she wasn't even talking to me at all(She didn't even ask my name), they were laughing and talking to each other. (2) My nails(which are MINE that I grew out) are now all uneven and not shaped well. (3) When I told the lady that I was unhappy with my nails and the job she did.. it was " I did work, you still need to pay".... Yeah but its a shitty job. All I wanted was a manicure..and she charged me $30.00... for a freggin manicure and $5.00 to get white tips.. what the heck???... My hubby told me to go and treat myself( I don't get to do that often), never again will I visit this establishment, and I highly recommend everyone else to try anywhere else but here. If I am going to get my nails done again, I will definitely go back to China Nails...I am HIGHLY UNHAPPY.. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MY MONEY!! read more

I've been going to Bee's nails for years and was always very happy - loved the long massages and being able to drop in. Unfortunately the quality seems to be changing. I get pedicures every month and last month they rubbed my heel raw in one spot - took almost 3 weeks to heal. I thought it was just a one time mistake but when I went back this Saturday they did the same thing again - only in 3 different spots. I even pointed it out before they started and asked them to be careful. I can barely walk at this point it hurts so much. I'm afraid I need to find somewhere else.. read more

I asked for gel nails, the girl that was doing my nails must have painted and removed the gel color 5 times trying to get it right. finally when she finished the job was terrible by then I just wanted to go done & out of there. I will never go to this place again. When I walked in there, I was the only one there. They were all busy watching a movie, not really caring if anyone was in there or not. I wanted a Pedicure and an eyebrow wax. They put me at the last station where the chair wasn't really working and wouldn't go back. I felt squished and uncomfortable the whole entire time, and they wouldn't take the extra few minuted to move to another chair. A pedicure should be a pleasurable and nice experience, not feeling uncomfy. This wasn't even the worst part. After I got my pedicure, it was eyebrow waxing time. The lady who was doing it, who I haven't had before, was busy talking on the phone, not in english. When the gentleman got her attention, it was like I was I was inconveniencing her..She went in and barely took any time at all, in a hurry to get back to her phone call. She didn't even do my eyebrows correctly, and I was furious when I left. I went to my car and saw there big chunks of my eyebrow in the front..and looked like she didn't do anything..I went back and she was going to fix it by tweezing it, and that was too big of area to tweeze. I said forget it and will go somewhere else to fix it. The customer service was horrible and they acted like they didn't care. I have been in there a few times before and the lady that usually does my eyebrows wasn't there. I will never go back to this place with the customer service the way it was. read more

I came to this place on Saturday to get a fill and a pedicure the clientele that was here I must say was diverse I didn't let that stop me from trying out this place that I was excited for because I'm thinking I found a new nail salon not too far from my job how exciting. The very next day the overlay of my fiberglass with the gel polish completely came undone off of one of my nails, I came back in after work to try to get it fixed I was greeted with irritation due to the fact that they were short-staffed and had no one to assist the one technician that was there, was an informative and I'm friendly. She let me know multiple times that if I wanted service I would need to wait she was busy and still had to do the ladies pedicure if I wanted to come back in the morning then come back in the morning she didn't offer to make me an appointment for in the morning or take time to say I would be more than happy to assist you tomorrow. I just felt after coming to a place trying it for the first time coming back because the work that they done was unacceptable obviously or done incorrectly I expected for it to be taken care of right then and there not to be put off for another day especially since it was of no fault of mine that it occurred. Needless to say there was someone there that could have seen to the pedicure that she was working on while she fixed my one nail but since she failed to do that I will never come back to this place again and I will make sure that everyone that I work with that was visiting that place knows the service that was given to me so they can find a new place as well so it doesn't happen to them. read more

I went to the nail salon today and I told them I wanted UV gel nails. I'm pretty sure for the UV gel, it needs to be activated by UV light, mine weren't. The lady that did mine (Katie) asked me three times if i wanted a flower on my nails. I told her no over and over again. There are bubbles in my nails and they just don't look that good. I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Last summer I went and got a pedicure before my wedding. It was the WORST experience ever. I was helped by the only male worker in the shop. I won't even tell the whole story regading my massage because it's just embarassing and uncomfortable. I'll skip to the end of the pedicure when he begins to put my sandals back on (the polish is still wet) and he knicks the polish on my big toe. I tell him that he knicked it and he throws a FIT! He threw my flip flop across the room and they start speaking in a different language. Mean while I am upset. I tell them I will not be getting a manicure there and the lady (Bee- I assume) says "I turned down people already because you said you were getting manicure". I explained and I know and I would of if he hadn't thrown a fit. She saw what just happened (everyone did) and she said ok and told me the amount owed. Not discount, no I'm sorry, nothing! I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. I go for their basic mani/pedi. The staff is accommodating and very nice. The place is clean. They often have a wait so don't go there if you're in a time crunch, but I do believe they make appointments. My only complaint is the nail polish doesn't last as long as I'd like. Despite that, my experiences have been positive and I will definitely visit again. read more

When I went to get my current gel manicure taken off and a new French one done I was not impressed with the first manicurist I had (who I think was the opener). She did my gel manicure extremely fast, didn't cut all my cuticles, left white paint all over my finger and fingertips, and didn't ask me if the amount of white at the top was okay before setting it with gel (it wasn't okay), she also left out the hand massage that was included. After doing this in less than a half hour she went back to her desk and played Pokemon Go (she was also talking on the phone while doing my nails). However, another manicurist named Hiroko came to my rescue. She realized what mistakes the other had made and offered to fix it-For free!. She did all my cuticles, cleaned up my fingertips, and gave a nice massage. If you're going to go ask for Hiroko. read more

It was the worst shellac manicure I have EVER gotten. The older Asian woman with short highlighted hair used the drill on my natural nails, which completely tore all of my cuticles and ruined my nails. She then slopped the polish all over my now rough, ugly cuticles. She seemed irritated when I asked her to trim my cuticles, telling me "That's what the machine did." She kept calling me "beautiful," which I found very condescending after the rushed, awful job she did on my nails and the rude attitude she gave me. I will NEVER go back to this salon! I'm sick that I spent $30 for my nails to look terrible and sloppy. I could've painted them myself for free and had better results. read more

I was there yesterday to get a color change and trim on my toes. The girl who serviced me filed my skin, yes my skin, and had an attitude when I asked her why she didn't cut the nails. She stated that she filed them and the customers don't know what they want. The owner was very rude and I will not go back. Someone else will appreciate my hard earned dollars. My 16 year old daughter visited Bee's nails on Saturday, January 6, 2018 to have her nails filled. Our regular salon could not get her in. Boy was this a mistake. Her nails were started by one gal and then another older woman took over. When my daughter got home and started really inspecting her nails, she noticed that they were not even, the fill was not done all the way to cuticle, her cuticles were not trimmed, and the polish was done very poorly. In the middle of the night, three of the nails popped off while she was sleeping. My daughter was extremely upset and so I went back to Bee's Nails with her the following day to ask for her money back. The old woman who did the job said she could not help and got some man who never identified himself. He told us that he could not refund the money, but would redo my daughter's nails. Already having had them done so poorly, we insisted on the money back. The man said no because he had no idea what my daughter did to make the nails come off. I asked him if he was calling her a liar and he said no but he would not refund the money. I told him that he was, in fact, calling her a liar and she was NOT lying. I asked him if he stands by his product and he said yes but he will not refund the money. This is terrible. Never again will we use this place. read more

Again went their before a trip 1st time I had gel applied when on my vacation they peeled right off when I got home went back and they took them off for free big deal they had already messed them up and the young women apologized. Well again I had another trip and it had been a while since I had been their and they opened early so I went on Wed morning Oct.29th,2014 the pedi was great but again the mani stank she cut them to short and they where uneven with a slant and the next day when I was on my trip to San Diego to visit my sister for her Birthday we where shopping and I looked down at my nails and 3 of them had major chips so I had to stop and buy polish remover and just take off the polish but my pedi was ok !!! The girl that did my mani was in a hurry and I don't even think she cleaned my nails before polishing them and it was just a plain mani what a waste of $15. 2x's bad and I won't return again to bad because I shop in that center and it is close to home, it once was a good shop about 5-6 years ago before the org. owner sold!!! read more
