My husband and I wanted to stop in here before making the trek back to Palm Springs and happy we did. We used to come on a consistent basis during our summers when Surfside was here and haven't returned since they shut down. The dynamic of the guys working here was incredibly inspiring for any other brewery/restaurant/anyone working in the service industry in general. You could tell they actually liked being there and with one another, which always makes the energy in the room more palpable. I overheard our beertender, Jake, came in on his day off (what a boss) and was such a nice, hardworking guy. RESPECT. Jake made great beer recs and even though we didn't order any food, the menu looked killer and would definitely give it a go another time we're back down this way. Absolutely terrible service every time I've tried to come here. Greeted when we walked in and then nothing after ordering a drink even though I told them I was there for food. Was never asked if we were okay or if we needed menus or another drink for almost an hour. Second time going here I was told food would take at least an hour. Looked around and there was only one other table in the place with people. Would much rather go to bottlecraft. You can tell this place is just trying to cash in on oceansides changing landscape and businesses. Don't waste your time there are PLENTY of other establishments with better service and atmosphere. read more

Beer selection was decent. Came here for a friend's birthday party. The food took for ever to come out and when it did it came out one plate at a time. After the last plate was served my wife and I sat there for 15-20 minutes waiting for our charcuterie board and fish and chips. 2 other charcuterie boards had been served so idk wtf the problem was. Won't be coming back ever again and won't ever recommend. Atmosphere isn't compelling enough for the long wait time and wait staff was inattentive and seemed to be inconvenienced by us. read more

Lots of seating on the outside patio, i fan girled over the fried avocado. It's perfect. Excellent service whenever I come. Whoever is hiring knows how to pick 'em. For the most part the food is also great. Love the fried avocado. Please work on those burgers, though. Last time I came and I got a burger with your ground beef and brisket patty. Ordered medium but came out well. Still tasted great so not complaining otherwise. Came in today and ordered the mushroom and swiss burger which is a go-to for me at any new restaurant. Menu says grass-fed burger, which I know from cooking steak generally isn't as tasty as grain-fed, but ground beef is a different beast and it can be done right. This did have pink in it, but my god...it tasted like cardboard. My friend and I both spent a while trying to figure out if we'd been duped with an Impossible burger (not real meat). The only reason I decided no is because I don't see that as an option on the menu. It must have been frozen and experienced a LOT of freezer burn. Also my friend and I agree the chips for the artichoke dip were very very stale. The dip itself, though, soooo good. 4 stars because it's my first bad experience, and the service is seriously wonderful. But please...your manager needs to do some quality control or something. read more

I had no problem finding beers to fill a flight selection for the IPA's, with others to spare and taste afterwards the Oktoberfest selection is bigger than any I've seen recently, and they have sours, kombucha and wine ( although I can't comment because I didn't try any). We had the brisket stuffed peppers, the blue burger and the fish n chips . The stuffed peppers and burger amazing, the Cajun fries with the fish were great, and the fish was good, I would have just preferred flakier fish. Phenomenal little spot in Oceanside. I try to visit every time I'm in town. Staff are great to chat with and have excellent suggestions. All the food I've had is delicious but my personal favorite is their bone in wings. They're perfectly cooked with just enough crisp and don't even get me started on the flavors. The 7 siblings buffalo was so good I even bought some of the hot sauce to take home with me. I've been raving about it to anyone I know going around SD or Oceanside. (Tip: get some dry rub Cajun on the side and sprinkle it on any flavor of the wings for an added kick.) Overall, a great spot to stop for beers on tap and some wings. 10/10. read more

This place is so cool. Right by the pier and Oside beaches. The roll up doors and outside seating are perfect for the summer evenings to enjoy a beer and chill out. I am so happy we took a turn into Beet Town! Now it's one of our go to hangs. I am not a gastro brew type of person. I'm all cool with Coors Light. That being said; their beer menu is off the chain. The food is so delicious you will crave more. Seriously, we lasted 3 days before we had to come back to eat, and, ya know drink a bit. They had live music on the patio, that was so cool. They have a good sized parking lot which is soooo nice. Kids are welcome, it just keeps getting better and better. The Chef came out to ensure we like what we ordered - as if! Hint, hint; order the Potato Skins.... you will be in love. The staff were great A #1, friendly, really knowledgeable about the selection of beers, wines hard seltzers and let us not forget the menu!!!! anyway you slice it! All the food we ordered was frozen and heated in the microwave. Pretzel bites were hard, artichoke dip was severed in a plastic bowl that was bought at a grocery store and heated up. Pita chips were store bought out of the bag. The wings were cold and mushy. For the 70 dollars we spent the quality was very bad. I never usually write reviews but had to warn anyone going here honestly. I feel bad because the waitress was very nice but the food was awful. Can't see them staying in business much longer. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wide selection of rotating beers. Multiple soda flavors which my family loves (free refills) and the food is great. They host events and have music regularly. We usually prefer breweries but this tap house is an exception. read more
