We frequent this Beef O Brady's on a regular basis. I usually order a bowl, tonight I wish I hadn't. A waste of $14. The mushrooms were like eating floppy rubber! Mentioned it to the waitress and asked her to let the manager know. No apology from her and the manager was a no show. My second poor review..... doubt we will be back any time soon. We were on the road and stopped here for a quick casual eat. My boyfriend and I decided to order boneless wings and our server told us we could split the 20 wings into 4 selections of sauces. That was great because I was already undecided on what spice level to add. I'm giving the 3 stars because the service was excellent but honestly, the food really needed help. The place is a sports bar and it was sad to enter. Kinda dirty and old. I can see it has so much potential for better food and presentation. Maybe invest in better plates and cups. This was our first visit and probably our last. Got quick service after sitting down. Jazmine came and took our drink order & appetizer order. When the appetizer was brought to the table - it was cold. Could not get her attention. Finally 10 minutes later she brought our drinks & took appetizer back to warm it up. When she brought it back - she slammed it on the table & walked away- but not before it was pointed out one of the drink glasses was dirty. She said she would bring another- which never happened. She quickly delivered our food when it was ready - did not see her again. She took care of tables next to us - but avoided us. No ketchup on the table for fries. Finally got up & grabbed the bottle from the next table. Had to go up to the bar (where she was sitting) to get to go boxes & our bill. Customer service is way below average. Today we placed a pick up order for 25 wings. When we got home we realized we took home only 20. I figured, it's not the end of the word, we will just call and get a credit on our payment method for the difference. I was wrong. When I called to get a refund of the difference, I was told they do not do refunds, but I could come back to the establishment and they could make us the wings they didn't give us. That would be a fantastic compromise if I lived next door, but we don't. The manager Bailey was no help either. I'm writing this review because it's not necessarily about the money, it's about the principle. I've never worked at a job, or went to an establishment where they weren't able to issue a credit on their point of sale registers, especially when it was THEIR MISTAKE!!! Husband and I went here for Valentine's Day at around 600pm expecting a long wait time due to it being Valentine's and all lol was pleased to see that the wait time was only 15 minutes We had chicken fajitas special it was very good they give you 4 flour tortillas but enough chicken for 5 stuffed tortillas or more if you like smaller ones lol our waitress Taylor L was very good and on the ball never letting our drinks run low definitely 2 thumbs up read more

I haven't eaten everything on their menu but what I have had so far is pretty good and you get good size portions. The only thing I've had there that I didn't care for much was their buffalo wings.They aren't bad really, just mediocre. A 3 out of 5. The prices are reasonable and they have great specials. The wait staff are pretty good also and I like all the wood. I get that warm, homey feel from it. I would recommend going there. read more

Ok, coming from Chicago we don't have a Beef-o-B's and I had no idea what to expect. Was it Irish, fish n Chips, etc, we had no clue! To our surprise it was just all around good old American food and at reasonable prices. I particularly liked how they had an abundance of TVs throughout the restaurant so if I wanted to ignore my wife or in laws it was possible. In this particular location there are not many options especially that fit the has a bar, many TVs and food my kids will eat criteria so they get an extra star in my book. When I called because the order was wrong and then mentioned how small the wings were the woman on the phone lied and said she told whomever picked up the food that the wings were small due to a wing shortage. Let me begin by saying I'm not going to provide a negative review and hide behind my keyboard, I will provide my name and phone number if the Beef's management would like to contact me. My name is Jeff and my phone number is 813-368-3180. My family and I decided to order for pickup (Covid responsible) the evening of Saturday, August 7th. My oldest daughter ordered a Grilled chicken salad with extra mushrooms and no tomatoes, my youngest daughter ordered Chicken nuggets with curly fries, my wife ordered chicken fajitas and I ordered Steak and Shrimp fajitas. We were told to pick it up at the drive up window at 7:10 PM. We arrived about 10 minutes early so sat in the parking lot until our scheduled pickup time (7:10). When our designated time came, we pulled into the drive up window, rang the bell, and was greeted by a very nice woman who asked for payment and said they were just finishing bagging our food. We promptly paid, left a 15% tip, and proceeded to wait. After 15 more minutes of waiting, we rang the window bell again, and the same nice woman told me,, she was sorry, their was a "mix up" and our food would be done within the next few minutes. After another 10 minutes went by (now 7:40, 30-minutes after our scheduled pickup time), the same very nice lady passed our food through the window and again apologized for the extended delay. Whereas we were a little aggravated, we know how things go. We proceeded to make the 4-mile drive home (live on the same street as the Beef's), and that is when the true disappointment set in. My daughters grilled chicken salad with extra mushrooms and no tomatoes actually came as a grilled chicken salad with no mushrooms and extra tomatoes,,, and if that wasn't bad enough, it had a long blonde hair laying right on the top of the salad (straight to trash),,, between the hair and tomatoes,, she decided to eat a protein bar instead. My youngest daughter open her box,, and guess what,,, ice cold from sitting in the pickup window for 30+ minutes. To add further injury,, my wife opened hers and it too was ice cold,,, shocker. Well, I then opened my box and much to my happiness, mine was hot and ready to go,,,, just one problem though,,, I ordered steak and shrimp,,, and was provided Chicken and shrimp,,, and they forgot the tortillas. Obviously with everyone being disappointed I called Beef's, gave them my name, and then stated my complaint. The responding lady was very professional, said she was sorry for the extra wait and food mistakes that were made. She then went on to explain that all of our food (except the shrimp & steak) fajitas were ready at the original 7:10 time (computer mistake she said). She then went on to explain that they tried to rush the final fajita order which is why the other food sat there for 30-minutes in the bag getting cold. She then stated she would say something to the kitchen manager about all of the mistakes. After that, she offered that we all return and they would re-prepare the order but, it would be another 30-minutes,, they were very busy. I then asked her since there was such a screw up and it had already been over an hour and fifteen minutes since the original order if she could send something over via Grub Hub. Her response was she couldn't do anything without the authorization of a senior manager and none were present. In closing she told me she would pass along my concerns,,, again,,, very professional during the whole call. At this point my family and I were just frustrated and gave up. I shared the shrimp and chicken (should have been steak) fajitas with my wife, as stated, my oldest just threw hers away, and after microwaving the other two meals to heat them back up,,, lets just say the dogs had all the fries and most of the chicken fajitas,,, while my girls ate protein bars and cut up watermelon that was in the fridge. I will close with I understand mistakes happen but, if common sense could be applied (don't leave food sitting in the drive up window for 30-minutes),, 75% of this disaster could have been avoided. The other 25%,, well,, I guess that just what happens when senior management isn't around during the busiest day of the week..... Needless to say,,, Beef's is off the menu... Jeff read more

Awful!!! Ordered food to go/ delivery. The blue cheese dressing was open and spilled all over the inside of the bag. My burger was supposed to have bacon and jalapeño on it it did not. The restaurant is exactly what you would expect of a family-style sports bar. It was dimly lit, a bit on the small side, and had several TV's playing different sports events. A very casual place; you seat yourself. The small "lobby" area of the restaurant is covered with kid's Beef o' Brady's coloring pages. =] Our waitress was very friendly; cheerful, upbeat, and genuine. The food was good; nothing spectacular. I had a grilled chicken wrap with onion rings. There isn't much to comment, except that it satisfied my hunger and was exactly what the menu described. Everyone else in my party also enjoyed their food. I would recommend this place as an alternative to just grabbing something from one of the fast food places. I'd rather sit down and be around nice people while enjoying good ole' American food than eating greasy food hurriedly in the car. =] read more

Ordered the special surf and turf wanted grilled fish instead of shrimp have ordered this several times with an up charge like 7.00 I was disappointed that Sarah our server would not even entertain the idea of this ! I joined two other men to have lunch. We ordered two Mushroom Burgers and one "Make your own burger" along with Curly Fries. Each of us gave a "thumbs up" on the quality of our meal. Our service was definitely above average which added to a very pleasant experience overall. There are plenty of parking spaces. We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant and our server came to our table within 30 seconds. Food preparation was timely, an important factor right at noon-time. I returned on April 1, 2014 and again ordered the "Make a Your Own Burger." Just as good as my last visit. Our server was excellent. read more

The normal wait of 20 minutes was now 45 min wait. 45 went to 63, and they weren't that busy. Had to nuke the chicken at home because it was not fully cooked. Had to chew and chew and chew the steak it was so tough and over cooked. And best of all, there was one scoop of fried peppers and onions. Dry. Cheap. Very little. And tough as shoe leather. Its a chain but it reminds me of a dive bar and grill...Like the Sandbar in St. Pete. Restrooms are precariously located next to the kitchen door so you really have to watch your entry and exit. Fast and friendly, girl next door service inherent in these types of restaurants. I like to be able to rely on that. Expanded menu has healthier options than before (last year). Pickle chips are good, an affordable app at $6.25. Larger portion than you get at Square 1 Burgers actually. I got the turkey reuben on wheat. He got the pork chop. Both were good. NO. Okay? Just no... This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the last 3 times I've been here, it has been completely ridiculous. The servers all have a snappy attitude, and all of those times my boyfriend and I went on "Taco Tuesday" to get that great deal, since we love their tacos anyway... We always loved it before. Always had great service, and a great experience. Well, it happened the exact same way all 3 times. We ordered the tacos. He had the steak and I had the chicken. We both ordered fries on the side, his straight and mine curly. When the tacos came out, I don't even know where to begin with what was wrong... Everything was terrible. The meat was ice cold, and the tortillas were not even cooked, they were cold as well. So we let the waitress know (this happened exactly like this with 3 completely different waitresses, 3 different times, mind you) and she said "Sorry about that, I'll have them remake it for you." (LIES, lol.) Then 2 minutes goes by and she comes back with what can only be referred to as a disaster on a plate! They had taken the tacos, fries, and all, and put the plate in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Now it's common sense (especially for a chef, I would know because I'm dating one) not to ever put lettuce into a microwave. We ended up with nasty microwaved chicken, melted cheese that was reduced to only a tiny puddle, and hot nasty wilted lettuce that was completely inedible. I know how their tacos are normally served there, and they come with the tortillas cooked on the grill (not raw and cold like they were), the meat freshly cooked and still hot (not ice cold like it was just yanked out of a refrigerator), the lettuce cold and crisp (not warm and wilted after being microwaved), and the cheese should have been solid and cold also (not melted in the microwave). I mean literally nothing was the temperature that it was supposed to be, and after we sent it back, it came back to the table even worse than before!!! I am so angry and just thoroughly disgusted... The cook needs to be fired. Hire someone who can actually cook and cares about the customer's orders! I'm not kidding. And I know it isn't the waitstaff's fault when the food isn't cooked right (I used to wait tables myself so I know all about it), but in this case I still think it was absolutely ridiculous that they even brought us our food looking the way it did! I know that I definitely would not have served that to a customer. Ever. I would have made the cooks actually cook it before even trying to bring it out to a customer in that condition! Yikes! The last time, and I mean it when I say this is the last time, we left without even eating there and instead went somewhere else. The food was such a disgrace and the manager couldn't even dare to show their face... How sad. I've sent a letter to corporate about this too. Moved from 5 stars down to 1. I am ashamed to have ever given this place a good review. And I can say with 99% certainty that I will not be back. Hi , just left beef o Brady's in Ruskin Florida where I ordered whole rack of ribs , loaded baked potato , Grilled zucchini, Half and half tea . Needless to say I will not be a returning customer . First my husbands salad was wilted brown just wasn't fresh . My food came and the ribs was tainted meat , I didn't get to eat my baked potato because before I realized it I put sour cream on it that was spoiled.now my husband ordered ribeye steak loaded baked potato and salad . The ribeye was not quality meat because it was tough as shoe leather salad wilted and could not eat his baked potato because he put sour cream as well that was spoiled .My grilled zucchini was like rubber . The so called manager was arguing with us as to how fresh the pork and sour cream was , very poor management skills not to mention the fact that her ignorance will only run off business not attract it . I feel that the fact that my husband being an executive chef for 10 years and owner of 5 , 5 star restaurants in up state New York and Pennsylvania more than qualifies him to determine spoiled food and condiments . The manager backed her up. It was someone else's order. First she tried to say that was also my fault, as she cannot change names in an online order! The manager would not come back. Finally gave me my order, which was obviously payback. Fries were barely cooked, bun was cold and we had 49 pickles between two burgers. Yes, we counted. At this point we are at home, so we call to speak to the manager. She takes zero responsibility, in a mistake that was clearly theirs from the beginning. Going back home is always fun for me! My grandma and I always come here every time I come home. First of all, it is so hard to find good chicken wings or buffalo chicken wraps and this location never lets me down. The food is always fresh and well prepped. The service is always great as well. Very bad experience. They were trying a Fish Friday for $9.99. All you got was half piece of fish and 5 small shrimp. The cold slaw was warmer than the fries. My husband got water dripped on him from the air conditioning unit. Asked for the manager and the waitress was the manager. We go there at the very least once a week and still they did nothing about our experience. We had 8 people with us and everyone was unhappy about something with their order. This is an example of a good idea gone commercial. All the food seems to be made from something frozen and then deep fried in oil that is used over and over again. However, it is a beer joint first and you should not expect a lot in terms of quality. The wait staff does do an outstanding job and as one other reviewer noted it is one of a limited number of pubs in the Sun City Center area so without any competition they continue to survive. read more

Have been to the Sun City Center location many times. I've always enjoyed their wing special on Wednesdays. Seems like new management. .. or new manager is changing things. Our last visit I was advised by our waitress /claimed to be manager/bar tender; that they could only split my order of 18 wings between 2 flavors. Mind you.....the last 6 or 7 times I've been here, it's never been a problem to split it 3 ways. I had to insist on ordering it the way I always have. She finally agreed to take my order as i asked, & claimed it was a one time/last time courtesy. Strike 1. Then my husband ordered his burger meduim rare (again, as he has many times before) , for her to claim they can only go to medium. Hmmm. Strike 2. We enjoyed our meal, got our check. After she took our card... she comes back with our card, but someone else's receipt(had their name on it)! This receipt was less then ours, but we did the right thing and let her know. So now, we have to wait for her to figure what she did. Luckily I did not see anybody else's charges on my account. i just don't get the appeal of the beef o'brady's restaurants.......i think it's because they offer $5 hamburgers on mondays and all the old locals flock to save a buck. servers are kind of skuzzy, hootchie types, screaming and yelling all throughout the tiny little dump. burgers are small, thin patties, tasty, but so small, maybe 5 ounces? they do run out of a lot of their beers as the night progresses. the place is packed with local barflies, the senior sect loves this chain. it's like a TGIFs for geriatrics..... too many other better burger joints to seek out other than this place...... read more

We are frequent diners at Beef's but after tonight, I'm not sure if or when we will return. The service was terrible from the moment we walked in the door (which should have been our first clue to leave). There was a couple waiting however there was 3 visible tables empty, but just needed to be cleaned. We gave the hostess our name and waited. While waiting, one more table became available however, no one went to clean it off. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we were finally seated. The waitress came right over to take our drink order. Since we already knew what we wanted, we also ordered our food. The waitress brought our drinks and then we didn't see her for out on the floor afterwards. When we caught glimpses of her, she was hanging out in the bar area and in the kitchen area with a few other waitresses talking. We tried to get her attention (or the attention of any of the waitresses) to get refills on our drinks (not to mention the surrounding tables all needed refills too) but was unable to do so. When she finally decided to come out, we asked for refills, which took a bit of time to get. After waiting about 40 minutes for our food, my family received their food however, I was told mine would be out shortly. My food was delivered to the table after everyone else was done eating. When my food came out, it was very over cooked and parts of it was burned (see attached photo). There was no point trying to get the attention of the waitress because she was back in the bar/kitchen talking. The table next to us (that was seated right after we were) still hadn't received their food or refills. When the waitress came out with their food, we were able to ask for our check. It took about 10 more minutes for her to bring that back because as soon as she went to the computer, she got side tracked and started talking with the other waitresses again. Unfortunately this didn't seem to be an isolated incident. We overheard several of the surrounding tables discussing their displeasure and we had a conversation with the neighboring table about the terrible service and poorly cooked food. With such limited options in the immediate area, I would hope the staff at Beef's would get their act together. read more
