Friendly service and tons of options. I went in to pick up some jerky for some Christmas presents. This location was clean and has so many jerky choices. They have all of the standard types and flavors as well as a few more exotic and spicy flavors. The woman behind the counter was friendly and engaging. She also offered me a few samples. Jerky is pretty big in this area. If you like it then I would suggest giving this place a try. read more

Beef Jerky Unlimited - Meat Shops Near Me - Dundee, Michigan

Found this gem while actually on my way to beef jerky outlet down the street. The jerky is all michigan made at the Luna Pier location. The woman working was friendly and very helpful. The prices are decent for jerky. We left with an assortment of flavors and types. We purchased spicy jerky, jerky sticks and some chicken jerky. Will definitely be back. read more

This is NOT a rest stop. Lol...that's what their billboards say. This is location #2, just as good as the first location. They have 15-16 types of jerkey (mostly beef, some chicken and pork), lots of cheese options and a boatload of hot sauces! What more could you ask for?? The flavors are all the same price, you grab a brown paper bag and fill it to your satisfaction. It's not cheap, but its SO much tastier than the stuff you buy at the gas station. I highly recommend the cherry maple and the black pepper beef jerkey, if I'm forced to choose. But you can't make a mistake here. They also sell pig ears and dog treats for your 4 legged best friend! read more

This place has a huge selection of beef jerky and what many people don't know isthey have a huge selection of hot sauce as well Photographs are limited because when I was snapping photos the lady behind the counter told me I was not allowed to take photos in there it's their policy I told her it was for yelp and did she know what yelp r was and she said yes. Regardless of this I bought sticks and pieces of eight or nine different flavors how did Katie in Mesquite honey sweet you name it pork. read more

On our way to Ann Arbour we had to stop here so it wasn't all about cupcakes and do something good for my men. They had tons of barrels full of Jerkey, not just beef and everyone got 2 samples. The prices are decent, $18 a pound which equals the same as in stores just a way better selection and fresher. You can make your own bag and we got pretty much a little piece of each which just about came up to a pound. They are nice and leave you alone since the choices are overwhelming. A fun stop for any guy or meat loving gal, definete stop every time we drive up to Michigan! read more

Saw the sign on my way down to Toledo and so I decided to stop by and check it out.... I love it how they have barrels of jerky and you can sample them, just gotta ask them for a taste... but since I was in a hurry, I looked through the packed jerky they had and picked up two... one side note, since they make it themselves, they are little pricey.... $12 a packet.... They also sell bottles of hot sauces, which is added plus. read more

This place is beef-tastic! Beef jerky EVERYWHERE. Each barrel has a different kind. Spicy. BBQ. Honey. And then there's Pork Jerky and Turkey Jerkey and Venison Jerky. Also have you ever considered Elk Jerky, Buffalo Jerky, or Alligator Jerky? This place is mad. You grab a paper bag, go around the room opening up barrels, and just start filling up. Then you get to the check out counter where the price is so reasonable you might slap yourself and shout "gee willikers!" And then, when you finally bite into the gigantic pieces of bark-looking jerky slabs, you will wonder what you've been doing all your life chewing on the rot gut cardboard jerky from 7-11. But they are all the way out in Michigan, you say! Never fear, there's a website, and handy 21st century shipping services. Phenomenal! read more

Your one-stop jerky place! Venison, beef, elk, turkey, buffalo... It's on your way to Cabela's so you can stock up before your next hunting trip! read more

Great place to get some quality beef jerky!! They have many selections ranging from Flamethrower to Cherry Maple and all are delicious! Perfect road trip snack. The owner was extremely nice and helpful! read more

Went back as promised. This is going to be a regular pitstop for me between Ann Arbor and Toledo. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way from Toledo to Ann Arbor. We ended up getting four types of jerky: Peppered Turkey, Jalepeno Beef, Garlic Beef and Flamethrower Beef. Each flavor was delicious! My personal favorite is the Flamethrower. I have a high tolerance for spicy, but even this made my mouth burn (in a good way ;D). read more

For the greatest jerky you'll ever taste; just head north to Luna Pier (Or Dundee), Michigan to enjoy the plethora of delicious flavors and spice. From the tame to the wild, Beef Jerky Unlimited has it all. I first discovered this wonderland of tantalizing taste bud goodness while going on a random drive from Toledo, OH into Michigan and when we saw the sign that read "Beef Jerky Unlimited, We are not a gas station" we knew we had to check this place out and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. We were greeted by this seemingly sweet, friendly, elderly lady who invited us to take our time looking around and informed us that all of their jerky is made on site. Upon finding out we were originally from Pittsburgh, she teased us at how much better her Detroit Red Wings are, but that did not deter us from sampling and buying some of the best jerky anywhere in the world. Beef Jerky, Turkey Jerky, Pork Jerky, Wild Game Jerky, this place has it all and more. They even sell spices and sauces and jerky making kits and so much more. Among my personal favorites are the black pepper jerky, Cajun beef jerky, hot & spicy turkey jerky, and of course the deer jerky! The lady was sad to tell us that they were out of alligator jerky the day we visited, oh darn! I don't think I would have tried it, but maybe. All of the jerky is in barrels and you use the provided tongs to put jerky into brown paper bags and then at the end they weigh it and charge you. While the cost does add up quickly, let me promise you, it is well worth the price you'll pay for what has to be the world's best jerky. For more information please visit Beef Jerky Unlimited where you can even shop online, but trust me, the in person experience will be on of the best you'll ever have. read more

We saw signs for this while driving to Saline, MI. I definitely wanted to try it. We took a short road trip there today and everyone bought some! At first we were a bit concerned because the place was deserted, but it seems that the locals don't really need to browse. While we were looking around and contemplating the flavors, several locals came in, went right to their preferred flavors, loaded up, and headed out. The jerky is sold by the pound and it is all the same price. You grab a paper bag and some tongs and fill up on whatever flavors you want. The exotics are behind the counter and sealed up, so you can't just try those. Beef and turkey are in tubs on the main floor and the woman working was happy to explain it all and give us some samples. I am looking forward to eating the rest of the bag. Definitely a worthwhile detour. read more

Sherri is the sweetest! Stopped in here and was not disappointed. Quality products and helpful staff. Very clean and organized.

On my way toward Toledo I saw a sign on the highway for Beef Jerky Unlimited. I decided to drop in, and it was worth the short detour. Walk in to barrels of jerky, you simply pick what you want and place it in the paper bag. For about 6 assorted pieces and a pepperoni stick, my bill came out to about 13.77. It is not cheap but the quality is nice. The jerky is tougher than the store brands and generally dryer. Still a neat experience. read more

Fun Fun fun! Lots of various type of Jerky. Almost every time we are back to the area, we stop there for some fun shopping. The Jerky are fresh, from common ones to extreme spices ones. They also have other type of Jerky such as Buffalo and more! A neat store to visit if you are in the area. read more

Great jerky place. Many flavors and meat options. You are able to try most of the selections. My favorite is the prime rib jerky. Pretty good for being in a gas station. read more

Great jerky. However they have a two limit sample per person and no public restroom. Had we tried more, we probably would have bought more. We bought four varieties. read more

Had to stop here after seeing a huge billboard on the side of the highway. Very good experience. They ladies there were very helpful and gave a nice sample size. They had soooo many varieties of jerky; I think the most I have ever seen. They also had a nice sign saying that you should never store jerky in plastic, who knew? I don't eat red meat, so it was good to see a nice variety of turkey jerky. I got the BBQ and the teriyaki, both very good! read more

i'm definitely a fan. a huge fan. i love beef jerky, and will eat it until my jaws are sore and begging me to stop! They have a very nice selection of different types of proteins (beef, chicken, turkey, pork), and different flavors, from mild to super spicy to garlicky to smokey-sweet. prices are reasonable given the quality of the cuts. No stringy-ness of the beef, which is a huge drag for me. lady was very nice-- i told her it was my first time to the store, so she gave me 4 samples. basically i tried each protein. i was surprised by how tender the beef was, i assumed the proteins would each have a different texture, but really, not very discernable, except for the pork which felt like an overdone pork chop. i bought 3/4 of a pound to munch on the journey back from ann arbor to bloomington, and snipped the remainders into small bite-sized pieces to store in the freezer. i love it so much i sneak down to eat it frozen, straight from the freezer! if they could offer discounts or some incentive for me to buy a ton of the stuff, then definitely 5 stars heh heh heh. read more

This is not the gas station place! Go toward Dundee just past McDonald's and it will be well worth the drive! Just grab a paper bag and then pick out beef, pork, buffalo and even more in assorted flavors of jerky from covered barrels, so you can mix and match your own. We stopped in just before a camping trip, and it was perfect for a snack and a meal that needed now prep! Outstanding quality, and great service; try a few free samples and you will buy some! read more

This is one of my husbands favorite stops when we are in the area. I don't eat much meat but tried the jerky that he selected and it was amazing. The cherry maple beef was pretty darn good. I can see why he enjoys it here so much. He also selected a peppered beef flavor, a spicy flavor, and teriyaki flavor. I got some ranch cheese curds. Yummy. You get a paper bag and then select your jerky from covered barrels so you can mix and match your selections. It's worth the stop if your at Cabelas and a jerky lover like my husband. read more

If you are traveling in Michigan and can exit and get some jerky treats do it! Service is always delightful!

I make it a point to stop for jerky every time I'm on my way to electric forest or movement.....I've been to both beef jerky unlimited locations and I feel like the other one in Luna Pier is superior to this one. The hot sauce selection seems to be lacking and it's a little out of the way. Regardless, the staff is friendly, they have a decent selection of meats, and it did the job when it came to getting my jerky fix. read more

Hands down best jerky anywhere. Variety of meats and flavors. I ship their jerky to my son overseas in the Navy. They package it so it remains fresh and offer a discount for the military. read more

Just awesome. Great jerky, lots of variety, nice staff, fantastic hot sauce.

Loyal customer no more. I have always been treated well here, but my daughter brought my mother here the other day and they were treated awful. My mother is almost 70 and has had a few strokes. But there's no excuse for the condescending treatment... read more

It was ok, I was not fond of this type of jerky. It was too hard and turned into a rock by the next day.

Went there this past week after seeing signs along the road. We stopped, I was a little concerned as no one was in the store other than the sales associate. By the time I left, there were 5 other people in the store. The last time I had beef jerky like this was when I was driving through Texas - that was the best and I didn't find any other kinds close to this. Until now! Much more flavors - I would definitely recommend buying from here. I live in NC and will likely have to get it shipped. It is expensive but when you break down the price, it is WELL worth it!! read more

I stop by this place EVERY time I drive from Lansing to Ohio for various conventions I attend. I haven't tasted a bad jerky, and they all stay fresh for quite awhile (though I eat it all within a few days, lol). read more

This place is absolutely the best jerky ever. Used to pass here frequently (and always stopped ) and have moved away, so just drove 40 miles out of the way just to get this. The meat is high quality, selection is great and price is well worth it. Don't pass this one by! read more

I stopped on my way home from a trip to the Toledo Zoo. My son picked out some jerky. I saw they had jerky for dogs. I specifically asked if it was also made here in Michigan as I am very diligent as to what I give my dog. She assured me it was. I gave my dog one piece when we got home. Next morning, he was vomiting and had diarrhea. I took him to the vet, he was treated for salmonella poisoning. He was given iv fluids, anti nausea meds and antibiotics. Had to take him back to vet for more fluids 2 days later. Finally started eating again after 4 days. $700 later. I threw my child's jerky away. As I talked to owner, dog treats are same as human jerky, just smaller pieces. Would never recommend this to anyone. Thank God my Dierks survived. read more

The beef jerky selection is good. I liked the more exotic jerkies, especially the alligator. For beef jerk though, I prefer The Jerky Hut and order from YummyJerky.com, I think their beef and turkey jerky is better but for exotic meat this place can't be beat. read more

This place has some of the best jerky that I have ever eaten. They have a very large selection of jerky and hot sauce. Two of my favorite things in life. The quality of their products is unmatched.
