Service is definitely slow. It was a long wait just to get a plain latte despite no one being ahead of me. The physical place is disgusting. There are coffee splatters on the walls, dust and dirt piled up in every corner, and every table and area was sticky. I felt like I needed to go home and take a shower after sitting there for a few hours with some friends. They need to take some pride in the place and clean it. It's not the kind of place that you absolutely need to avoid, but I would drive to a surrounding small town's coffee shop before I would ever go back to Cool Beanz.

Apparently the two other waitresses did not show up for work. After two and a half hours most of our people had not received their food yet. We were on a time schedule for the bus driver. About half of our group were senior citizens. Some of them were diabetics. If the tavern was having problems they should have notified the tour operator and tried to make adjustments for the meals. If you only have a few people for dinner I'm sure it would have been a completely different situation. My wife and I ordered chicken Alfredo , it looked like watered down Mac and cheese with a few pieces of chicken mixed together.

The brisket was tender and juicy and complemented the Mac n Cheese perfectly. They also have daily food specials (Tuesday is 10 wings for $10) as well as a great menu of crafted cocktails. I was given the choice of a table or booth and picked a booth. My server, Makayla, could not have been more attentive or helpful. I ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich without bacon or mayo, with a baked potato and a side of Ranch. Everything was served as requested. I really wish I had read my review from two years ago because I should have ordered something other than chicken. Once again, I found the chicken dry and difficult to cut - even with a steak knife. I didn't complain about the chicken because I was hungry and had already complained that the Chardonnay tasted like it was spoiled from heat exposure (awful aftertaste) and it was taken off my check. The baked potato was perfect and the Ranch Dressing was delicious. I'm sure I'll return at some point because Dundee is a halfway point between Ann Arbor and Lambertville - this restaurant is conveniently located right off the expressway. Service was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and comfortable. But I can't recommend the chicken!
