I was watching Big Bang with my hubby on the telly. A commercial caused him to pause in mid-sentence. What was the object of his sudden interest? Pizza! Bacon wrapped pizza! So when he said it looked good and that he'd like to try it, I decided to indulge the love of my life with some artery-clogging fun. Little Caesar's had closed in downtown Saline, but a new franchise had opened at the dreaded Walmart mall on the east edge of town. I had vowed not to frequent this mall due to my dislike for The Evil Wallyworld Empire, but recently we had decided to try Oscar's sports bar and since then we've decided that the businesses on the periphery are not infused with evil by mere proximity. Initially I tried to order online, since I often find that there is much less confusion when I can see all the possibilities in front of me, but I could not find a way to do that. I seem to have a recollection of ordering online from Little Caesar's, but it's such an old memory that I could be wrong. So I looked up the number and asked for the pizza with the bacon wrapped 'round. I thought I'd have to choose toppings, so I started rattling off a few ... only to find that there is a pre-set set of stuff that goes on top the DEEP! DEEP! Dish Bacon Wrapped Crust pizza. OK, whatever you got, then. I asked how long it would be. It only takes twelve minutes for one of these to pop out the other side of the oven, so in about the time it took me to get there, it was ready for me. I noticed that they had grab 'n' go salads for $5. The place is small. There is only room for two chairs, to wait for your pizza, and no table. So it's not a sit down and eat it right there kind of place. I was a bit surprised that the pizza was not as huge as I was hoping. Only eight slices (for $12) but each has bacon on two sides of the crust. The bread is nearly 1" thick but it's very light. Not heavy at all. It is not overly salty and has none of the bitterness that you sometimes get from wheat flour. It is actually just a tiny hair sweet, due to the lack of saltiness. One of the better pizza crusts that I've had in a long time. The tomato sauce was OK. Maybe I would have wanted just a little more, but I'm a lycopene addict. And the meaty toppings were not quite enough. Hubby threw a few slices of lunch meat on each slice. I added a salad that I made at home and we dug into our carnivorous, cholesterol-laden feast. Hey, we both had the lipid panel this year already, and passed with flying colors. Not quite A-OK, but not Meh! either. We have satisfied our curiosity, Back to our fave!

The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The burgers were my favorite, but honestly, everything I tried was solid.

I had the Super Sport Pizza and it was outstanding. The rest of my family did the BYO pizza options due to gluten and dairy sensitivities and said the crust was the best GF crust they've had, and were stoked to be able to have it Detroit style! We also tried the Motor Oil Wings and they were excellent! Nicely sized wings and a good portion. The sauce was rich and umami just as described on the menu. I loved the dedicated "To Go" area in the alley behind the restaurant, close to the parking lot; not having to go inside the main area to fight through the people (it was crowded the night we ordered), was a big bonus. The staff working the to-go counter was friendly, fast, and helpful. We ordered online and everything was ready exactly at the promised time. We will 100% be back!

We usually order online for pick up and it's always been speedy, fresh, hot. We've ordered both directly and via delivery platform (DoorDash) with no issues either. It is a smidge pricier - 8 corner ran us ~$25 but I'd rather have less of something that's quality than a lot of something that's just meh! My go-to in Saline will always be Drop Top but Jet's hits the spot in pinch!

I try to order a simple round pizza on their site and while the site is pretty, it's clunky. Eventually I get my order through. $20 + $5 delivery fee + $5 tip. Thats $30 for a large round, half cheese and help pep pizza. The pizza arrives, NO SAUCE! As it turns out, somehow the website marked it no sauce. If I wanted bread sticks I would have order cheese bread sticks. The store doesn't call to verify which would be above and beyond but any manager should know better. I call thinking they'd understand and make a new one which I'd be happy to go pickup. I they REFUSE to make a new one WITH SAUCE. Unbelievable and incompetent. Next time I'll use DD. They would have fixed it. And like yea it sucks for them but their website was the issue and yea I aslo could have caught the mistake but I assumed it would have sauce. The amount they made in margin selling the pizza with zero sauce, charging a delivery fee and getting a tip for their driver would cover the cost of the new pizza. I eat there like 3 times a week, they lost my business. I'll be ordering from DropTop going forward.
