The specialty drinks are still good. We ALL got steaks and all were cooked perfectly to our liking as usual. So tender and good. The apps are delicious. Their homemade chips and dip are fantastic. The pricing is fair. The place is clean. The waitress was great. In its totality for what you get it's the best restaurant in Michigan. It's packed for a reason. They should open a chain!

I was given the choice of a table or booth and picked a booth. My server, Makayla, could not have been more attentive or helpful. I ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich without bacon or mayo, with a baked potato and a side of Ranch. Everything was served as requested. I really wish I had read my review from two years ago because I should have ordered something other than chicken. Once again, I found the chicken dry and difficult to cut - even with a steak knife. I didn't complain about the chicken because I was hungry and had already complained that the Chardonnay tasted like it was spoiled from heat exposure (awful aftertaste) and it was taken off my check. The baked potato was perfect and the Ranch Dressing was delicious. I'm sure I'll return at some point because Dundee is a halfway point between Ann Arbor and Lambertville - this restaurant is conveniently located right off the expressway. Service was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and comfortable. But I can't recommend the chicken!

Nicole was super responsive and helped us build the perfect menu for over 75 guests. For our package we picked Spinach & Artichoke Dip, double Blooming Charcuterie, Crudité Platter, Fruit Platter and a Caprese Crostini. We chose to pick up the items on the morning of the wedding and setup the table ourselves. Nicole made sure we had plenty of plates and serve ware. She helped to make ensure we had gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Everything was so fresh, delicious and beautifully arranged. They only thing I noticed was we had an abundance of spinach dip left. It was delicious, but I think we could've used more naan bread or we might have been fine with a smaller portion. All the other plates were empty by the end of the night. Nicole also included some really special on theme cheeses on our boards knowing that we had The Taco Truck of Clinton for dinner. We couldn't have asked for a better, more mouthwatering and beautiful spread for our wedding. Highly recommend!

This is an interesting spot in downtown Dundee. But it is done very nicely inside with a very inviting ambiance and it has an attractive appeal. I am giving this place the benefit of the doubt with four stars because it is a bit of a mixed review. Our experience was mostly positive, however. As mentioned, the decor is quite lovely. It exudes the country style ambiance and I like the way their front counter is set up to present a country store look. But it seems to be a country store and deli in one. I think they could do a good job of this except they really don't quite have the space to pull it off as well as they could. It's a bit cramped and the seating space is very, very limited with perhaps enough room for six or eight patrons. We were fortunate no one else was there when we visited such that we were able to sit at one of the tables to have our lunch. To be fair, they may be targeting take-away patrons more than eat-in customers. Another aspect of the mixed reviews was the food. First, I have to say I loved the creative names they presented for their daily fare in honor of Christmas, using the Home Alone movie as a basis. For example, I had the Look-What-You-Did-You-Little-Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The menu was rather limited in number of offerings, but there were enough. The soups were quite tempting with Stuffed Pepper and Baked Potato available. Both were excellent. My wife made a lunch just from the Stuffed Pepper soup. The Jerk Chicken, however, did not have much jerk to it. It might have been better named Exemplar or Paragon Chicken, because it was not at all Jerky. In fact, it was rather plain and dry. I saved half and used a mayo/mustard combo as a dip when I ate my leftover...and it was much better. I will say that the portion was very good, however. It was more than I needed to eat in one sitting. The prices also took me a little aback. For two cups of soup, one wrap with chips, a coffee, a latte, a cookie and a gift container of five macarons, our total bill was $43.00. Take away the macarons, which were not part of lunch, and it was still $27. But given that my wife's lunch was a cup of soup, a latte and half a cookie, $13.50 per person is a little steep. Maybe it's just that everything is getting over-the-top expensive everywhere, but this just struck me as a bit much. Overall, it was a very pleasant little shop with good presentation, good coffee, tasty soup and nice sweets. The wrap needed a little something extra but otherwise, it was pretty good. I'd like to give it another try sometime.

These are huge and full of smoked flavor while still retaining that crispy skin. Also tried the special of the day which was homemade queso Mac n Cheese. I added smoked brisket on top and it was fabulous! The queso cheese was full of flavor and delivered that nice kick without being overly spicy. The brisket was tender and juicy and complemented the Mac n Cheese perfectly. They also have daily food specials (Tuesday is 10 wings for $10) as well as a great menu of crafted cocktails. Uncle Lyle's has a Touchtunes jukebox. Just download the app, add some credits, and play your favorite music. There's also Michigan Club Keno so you can watch your money disappear into the lotto abyss too. :-)

The tour guide even called ahead and told them that we would be there early. Our dinner choices had been called in advance. When we arrived there was only one waitress to try to serve 54 people. Apparently the two other waitresses did not show up for work. After two and a half hours most of our people had not received their food yet. We were on a time schedule for the bus driver. About half of our group were senior citizens. Some of them were diabetics. If the tavern was having problems they should have notified the tour operator and tried to make adjustments for the meals. If you only have a few people for dinner I'm sure it would have been a completely different situation. My wife and I ordered chicken Alfredo , it looked like watered down Mac and cheese with a few pieces of chicken mixed together.

After a long wait, I finally received a response on October 29 apologizing for the delay and confirming my date was available. They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.
