Hi everyone, - re-visit 1/11/21 Use this for carry out (thanks to Covid and gov w. Quality food. Decently quick order to pick up time. Utensils provided for eating in car since away from home. We travel to this town for vet services at Heritage Hospital- great place. On to Bob Evans As we entered there were others waiting. A staff member said, our cook called in. 20 min wait to sit another and then another for food. We googled nearest coney and went there.

    So called chicken breast

Very unsatisfactory for the price, this restaurant has fail twice with me but today is last day I even step foot in the restaurant (if want to call it a restaurant) you get more food at McDonald's. When I said that to the manager (joe) he told me McDonald's is right down the street.

Lyndi was are waitress she was great very friendly. Great food clean area. I love all the little things you may purchase. everyone was very nice it wasn't very expensive and I loved that. Also allowing kids to eat free is also a great thing to have.

    Quart of chicken noodle soup

Stopped in on the way home from work to get some take out soups with the soup deal of $5 per quart. Got there And placed my order for 4 quarts of chicken noodle soup. I also purchased some banana nut bread. With hardly any customers there I had to wait 20 minutes to get my order. They kept bring out partial quarts at a time it looked like for my order. Never once did they let me know they are short on the soup and it will take a few minutes to get it ready. But at the end they apologized. A little late for that. Advertising soups for take out but don't have any. This should have been a quick dip and go order. Would have been quicker to stay in and have a steak dinner. Was there at 4:17pm 1/17/2020 On a another note the soups were good and so was the banana bread.

    This was yummy!

Restaurant nearly empty but we were forced to wait to be seated because they only have one cook! No coffee, no drinks? Service sucks!

Great food our server was pretty good. My mom got a turkey bacon melt when she got it it had no bacon on it. Other than that it was good!

The rolls were very fresh and the banana bread was moist.

The specialty drinks are still good. We ALL got steaks and all were cooked perfectly to our liking as usual. So tender and good. The apps are delicious. Their homemade chips and dip are fantastic. The pricing is fair. The place is clean. The waitress was great. In its totality for what you get it's the best restaurant in Michigan. It's packed for a reason. They should open a chain!

I was given the choice of a table or booth and picked a booth. My server, Makayla, could not have been more attentive or helpful. I ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich without bacon or mayo, with a baked potato and a side of Ranch. Everything was served as requested. I really wish I had read my review from two years ago because I should have ordered something other than chicken. Once again, I found the chicken dry and difficult to cut - even with a steak knife. I didn't complain about the chicken because I was hungry and had already complained that the Chardonnay tasted like it was spoiled from heat exposure (awful aftertaste) and it was taken off my check. The baked potato was perfect and the Ranch Dressing was delicious. I'm sure I'll return at some point because Dundee is a halfway point between Ann Arbor and Lambertville - this restaurant is conveniently located right off the expressway. Service was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and comfortable. But I can't recommend the chicken!

Nicole was super responsive and helped us build the perfect menu for over 75 guests. For our package we picked Spinach & Artichoke Dip, double Blooming Charcuterie, Crudité Platter, Fruit Platter and a Caprese Crostini. We chose to pick up the items on the morning of the wedding and setup the table ourselves. Nicole made sure we had plenty of plates and serve ware. She helped to make ensure we had gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Everything was so fresh, delicious and beautifully arranged. They only thing I noticed was we had an abundance of spinach dip left. It was delicious, but I think we could've used more naan bread or we might have been fine with a smaller portion. All the other plates were empty by the end of the night. Nicole also included some really special on theme cheeses on our boards knowing that we had The Taco Truck of Clinton for dinner. We couldn't have asked for a better, more mouthwatering and beautiful spread for our wedding. Highly recommend!

But it is done very nicely inside with a very inviting ambiance and it has an attractive appeal. I am giving this place the benefit of the doubt with four stars because it is a bit of a mixed review. Our experience was mostly positive, however. As mentioned, the decor is quite lovely. It exudes the country style ambiance and I like the way their front counter is set up to present a country store look. But it seems to be a country store and deli in one. I think they could do a good job of this except they really don't quite have the space to pull it off as well as they could. It's a bit cramped and the seating space is very, very limited with perhaps enough room for six or eight patrons. We were fortunate no one else was there when we visited such that we were able to sit at one of the tables to have our lunch. To be fair, they may be targeting take-away patrons more than eat-in customers. Another aspect of the mixed reviews was the food. First, I have to say I loved the creative names they presented for their daily fare in honor of Christmas, using the Home Alone movie as a basis. For example, I had the Look-What-You-Did-You-Little-Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The menu was rather limited in number of offerings, but there were enough. The soups were quite tempting with Stuffed Pepper and Baked Potato available. Both were excellent. My wife made a lunch just from the Stuffed Pepper soup. The Jerk Chicken, however, did not have much jerk to it. It might have been better named Exemplar or Paragon Chicken, because it was not at all Jerky. In fact, it was rather plain and dry. I saved half and used a mayo/mustard combo as a dip when I ate my leftover...and it was much better. I will say that the portion was very good, however. It was more than I needed to eat in one sitting. The prices also took me a little aback. For two cups of soup, one wrap with chips, a coffee, a latte, a cookie and a gift container of five macarons, our total bill was $43.00. Take away the macarons, which were not part of lunch, and it was still $27. But given that my wife's lunch was a cup of soup, a latte and half a cookie, $13.50 per person is a little steep. Maybe it's just that everything is getting over-the-top expensive everywhere, but this just struck me as a bit much. Overall, it was a very pleasant little shop with good presentation, good coffee, tasty soup and nice sweets. The wrap needed a little something extra but otherwise, it was pretty good. I'd like to give it another try sometime.
