But if you keep walking, it opens up into another section with booths. It honestly looks like an employees-only area at first, so we weren't sure if we were supposed to go back there There's also a side entrance that leads directly into that dining area, which makes a lot more sense once you figure out the layout. The place looks a little worn down, but honestly, it adds to the charm and gives it that classic local spot feel. I ordered the burger, onion rings, and cheddar jalapeño poppers, and everything was really good. Bonus points for serving Pepsi products! Always a win for me! The guy working was also incredibly friendly and was somehow managing both cooking and serving. He immediately noticed how confused we looked walking in and kindly pointed us toward the seating area in the back. Great food and genuinely welcoming service. Also, I want to note that their kids meals were only like $3.75....this is perfect because my kids never eat their food!!

Small slices of link sausage were mixed into the egg rather than wrapped in the center of the omelette as I'm used to, but flavor was still just fine. Eggs were a little on the dry side. Got the hash browns extra crispy, just as I asked for. Coffee was above average by diner standards. My wife got the gyro sandwich and was impressed. The meat came in a generous portion and was tender and juicy. Service was quick and considerate. Atmosphere was typical for a small town diner, including lots of veterans' tributes on the wall. I asked for the hash browns to be well done and they were cooked PERFECT. Super crispy. Some of the better hash browns I've had in a while. The chocolate chip pancakes also were super good. My eggs were undercooked, I ordered over medium and they were over easy. No big deal at all. They had a lot of menu options, both breakfast and lunch items, and everything was very fairly priced.

The minute we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendliest folks who showed us to our table. Side Note- The University of Michigan was playing and the restaurant was slammed- but the staff never skipped a beat. The minute Alexis, our waitress, came to our table she was friendly, kind, and super helpful with recommendations and explaining some of the items on the menu. We started with the deviled eggs as an appetizer (pictured)- they may have lasted 2 minutes- because they were so delicious. In the end, my wife decided on the Drunk Guy burger (burger with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, one onion ring, and topped with bourbon hickory sauce. It was cooked well done (as she asked) which was cooked to perfection! I chose the O'Hanna burger, which was a burger with Swiss cheese, bacon, pineapple, and a hickory sauce- cooked to perfection! We both chose the sweet potato tots with a marshmallow/Carmel dipping sauce....yup, you read that right- I could have eaten the sauce with a spoon. These 2 burgers were THE best burgers my wife and I have ever eaten. We were so impressed with the atmosphere, the staff, and the food. If it couldn't have gotten any better, they gave us a thank you card for stopping in. The staff were very friendly, patiently answered our questions since it was our first time eating there. The decor and atmosphere were welcoming, homemade cooking and conversation thriving in this business tucked back in a small strip mall location. I especially loved the cork board with receipts for extra meals already paid for, so people needing a hand can get what they need in a respectful inconspicuous manner. What a loving gesture. The pricing was fair or the generous portions. I highly recommend this cafe, they do things right!

I was in a lot of pain from a presumed leg injury and parked as close as possible. There were lots of potholes and a step without railings. Not good for preventing potential falls. Once inside, the ambiance was very lackluster. It was basically a sports bar and that was okay. I just wanted a meal and a break from driving. My server was very sweet and young, but clearly inexperienced. I ordered a drink before ordering my entree' but the drink came after my entree'. Her response was that the bartender was new and stressed out. Okay.., The food was just okay. I ordered a chicken sandwich with guacamole and bruschetta on top. I mentioned to my server that the chicken was very dry and difficult to cut. I also mentioned that the swiss cheese was barely detectable. She apologized but didn't offer management intervention. By the end, I didn't want to struggle any longer in trying to cut the overcooked and dry chicken. When I asked for the check, I pointed out nicely that my dissatisfaction with parts of the meal should have been brought to the manager's attention. Rather than raise a conflict over the bill, I paid it but don't ever plan to return. I overheard someone at a booth across from mine also expressing dissatisfaction with what he'd ordered, though not sure if he was complaining within his circle or whether he actually told the server- not that it would have mattered.
