They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

He forgot his cell that day and walked the two blocks to Danny's to use their phone to call me to pick him up. It would have been another two miles to walk home on a hot day, and he is in his mid 80's, not a good idea. He walked into the store and asked the woman at the cash register if he could use the phone, he had a break down and needed a ride. "NO" was her response. Surprised, and with disbelief, he walked back to the meat counter where two men were working and said again, "could I use the phone please" ? Both totally ignored him as if they didn't hear!!!!! Very fortunate that a man my husband had worked with came in right then, and offered to take my husband home. What has this world come to that three people in that store refused to let a Senior citizen use the phone when he had a car brake down? This was stunning, shocking, surprising, and really CRUEL too, on a 90 degree day. He would have had to walk the two miles home if that customer had not come in. This experience has put a new light on this local business that we have patronized for years. It's the neighbors here who keep them open, and this is how they treat customers and neighbors! They sent me a price sheet (listing multiple items sold by the dozen). I called with a few more logistic questions and the rep told me "we don't sell just a (a = one in my world) dozen of anything," so when I sent in my order I ordered two dozen of multiple items. She never said I could only order ONE item for that small of a group. I got an email back saying "Thank you so much for your time, but I don't think that we will be able to accommodate this." More than a week has gone by since initial contact and now I'm back to square one to find a caterer in Toledo who can provide excellent desserts. Their food might be great - I can't attest to that. But word-of-mouth is a caterer's livelihood, and I simply cannot sit back and not make others aware of poor customer service.

The wedding had around 100 people, and the quality of the meal was very high. I believe I ate the halibut. Anyway, I would have been very pleased to have found a restaurant that served such a great, delicate plate of food, nevermind a 100 person wedding.
