Got gas. But good lord so many gas handles out of service. The one i used should be out of service. It was so difficult to use and kept getting jammed up. No printed receipt. Have to go inside to get it. Yeah. After pumping outside in 20 degrees, I really wanna go walk to the store. So dumb. Refill your printer paper. This place is located NW of I-94 and Merriman Rd, North of DTW Airport and the rental car return. Good place to fill up gas before returning rental cars. It is about 1 mile away. There were only about 6 -8 pumps but on Monday 4pm, it was not too crowded. No lines. Not overpriced as they normally are so close to the airport. We did not go inside or check the food/snack selection. Convenient for rental car returns. read more

I was charged for gas and cigarettes that I never received and was refused a refund when I was across state trying to get home with two infant babies and a toddler!! I had to beg for money and sit in the cold with my babies!! I sent an email explaining my situation and received no response! I have tried numerous times to call and just get a busy signal......I will NEVER go here again and will be sure to let my family know too!! read more

Worst gas station in the area! Getting gas or or simply playing the lottery is never easy. Just ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. BTW I usually never have issues at any other Speedway stations. read more

Returning to this gas station again with a rental car. It as crazy busy on a Thursday afternoon. Enough that I had to wait a few minutes for a pump with all of them in use. The lot is small and crowded, making it challenging for those with their cars on the right or the left to get lined up for a pump The machine did take my card this time (chip cards seem to be difficult lately) and the 7 gallons of fuel pumped very quickly into my rental car. And then, no receipt. Ugh! And with my flight boarding in 20 minutes, I did not have time to go inside and get the receipt. Thumbs down. What a lousy store. Especially for a Speedway with a cafe with it. The shelves were poorly stocked so I settled for less. Slurpee machine is broken staff is actually smoking outside on their phones the whole time nowhere near the store and this is in the morning. Stopped here to gas up the rental car before returning it to Hertz at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Paid at the pump with a credit card and refueled. Also went inside and picked up a cold bottle of V-8 juice and water. Full convenience store here. read more

This Speedway, located near Metro airport, is extremely popular with rideshare drivers (Take a break from driving for a while), people filling up work vehicles, and travelers filling up rental cars before turning them in. This is one of the few locations in Metro Detroit with a Speedy Cafe', where someone can get a hot meal nearly any time of the day (be careful, this Speedy Cafe is not open 24 hours a day-usually opens around 8AM, so grab and go options are available) . Variety of snacks and cold drinks available, as well. Can get busy very quickly during various times of the day. Staff is courteous and friendly, and you get through the line quickly, even though there is only one person working the counter at times. read more

Found this station on a Google maps search for gas prior to returning a rental car to DTW. Gas was $0.83 a gallon less than the BP where all the other renters get their pre-return fill-ups. And, you don't have to deal with that nightmarish and annoying left turn on Middle Belt Road. read more

Unable to park at this location for store purchases or even gas most of the time over the last 6-8 months or so. I filed 4 complaints now with Speedway and they are constantly trying to get the Uber, Lyft and other taxi drivers from taking up all of the parking spots. Time to move on to a different brand and/or location. read more

The restrooms are disgusting. I recall this has station for it's cleanliness. #yuck Don't stop here if you need a restroom.

Generally the lowest price in the area (or dang close to it). Speedy rewards are nice. The arrangement of the pumps makes it pretty easy to get cars in/out quicker, which is nice since they can get pretty packed (I've seen a line almost out to Merriman). read more
