I just wanted to say thank you to Helen yesterday at the MacNamara terminal. She was great about dealing with the impatient Michigan natives returning home and waiting for the shuttles. Helen kept the other shuttles moving and organized so the super long line for Qwik park had room for a couple of shuttles to pull in. Shout out to Billy the driver too. He was so friendly and even helped an older couple bring their bags up to the hotel entrance. He even helped my son carry his bag to our trunk. Wish all workers were like Billy. Shame on the Michigan natives who were shoving and pushing to board and even cut in front of a pilot who patiently waited over 30mins because of other people cutting in front of him. read more

Best place I found by Detroit metro for parking. I usually use combined with Parksleepstay. Only a few hotels use qwik park as combined stay. It's right behind the Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield Inn so if you get either one of those this is your best bet. The service is quick friendly and also the ride to airport within 2-3 minutes of parking your car. They say on your return if you have a wait more than 5 minutes give them a call and they are serious about that. One time we came back from vacation and there was literally 50 people waiting for qwik Park and qwik Park sent five buses down there to come pick us up. I think the price is about eight bucks per day and we got eight nights on our package with the hotel so good bargain. Five stars for them read more

Qwik Park is a train wreck! Their operations are an inefficient disaster. The last three times we used them, they stranded us at the airport for 30+ minutes because they're unable to send a shuttle. When you call and ask for them to send someone, they only give you excuses. They do not care about customer service whatsoever. They also refused to take our unexpired coupon because they decided to increase their prices. When we mentioned the coupon didn't expire for four more months, they shrugged and said "that's the policy." Qwik Park is anti-customer and has predatory pricing practices. Once again, thank you Yelp! This was my first time using Qwik Park, and scanning through the off site parking options reviewed here, this lot rose to the top. I've used off site parking in other states before, yet had not explored the options here in Detroit. My biggest concern is always the speed of the shuttles and the amount of time it will take to get from the lot to the terminal. Perhaps my first experience was an outlier, but Qwik Park knocked it out of the... well, park! Pulling in, I was told to head to Row B. Despite a recent snow, the lot was well plowed and I found a clear parking space. Before I was fully out of the car, a red shuttle bus pulled up behind the vehicle and patiently awaited me and my bags. The shuttle was empty, and once I was on board we headed straight for the terminal. No hanging around. No loops around the lot. Just a straight shot to the Evans Terminal. The driver handed me a red slip of paper marking my row letter and number, which was easy to find upon my return. Speaking of which, when I got back to DTW and headed to the shuttle area on an afternoon when the temperature was a single digit, there was another red van just sitting there waiting. Nobody was on it, and once I was on board we pulled out and headed straight back to the lot. Not only was I dropped right at the car, but the driver said he would stick around just to make sure my car turned over in the cold. What unexpectedly good service! The only downside was that I forgot to check out using one of the staffed lanes to get my AAA discount, but I reached out via email after the fact and have every confidence QP will make it right. Now the rate is up to $15 a day without any discounts or coupons. Still a lot cheaper than parking at the airport itself, and super easy. I fully expect this is now where me and the family will park when we're flying out of DTW. It feels a bit weird to give an off site parking lot one of my rare 5* reviews, but I could not imagine a better experience, so here we are. Happy travels. Drive safely. Stay vigilant. read more

Even with multiple drivers, pickup seems to be getting slower and slower. Today we nearly missed our flight for the first time, which was stressful and disappointing. If you're parking an electric vehicle, I'd recommend adding at least 20-30 extra minutes. You may end up standing out in the cold while several shuttles pass, even when staff at the entrance know you're waiting in EV parking. In addition, you need to plug in your use these spots. Your car doesn't actually charge though. Service seems disrupted, intermittent, or sporadic on a regular basis. I'm honestly not sure why I keep parking here expecting a different experience. Better communication with drivers would make a big difference, Qwik Park. read more

Recently parked here for the first time and we were very impressed with this service. Shuttle was there upon parking. "Sam", was our driver, handled our bags and had us at the Delta drop off promptly. The service was just what we needed and lived up to our expectations. Will use them everytime now. Newer users like me, Pay attention to the paperwork you receive. Keep in a safe place so you can find it and provide it when you return. I travel often and always leave my car here, but this experience was unacceptable. After returning from a 14-hour flight, I discovered a huge dent and scratches on my car. The bus driver directed me to the manager, Amanda, to file a report. However, I was told that the report was only for records and would not cover any damages. I had left my car for nine days, paid $200, and came back to find it ruined. I am very disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer care. I've used this place quite a bit. The cost is right and the bus are usually available for a pickup. Think the biggest thing is the pickup. If money was no object I'd park at the big blue deck but this isn't a bad option. The buses are a bit beat up and the drivers are ok. It's the cost savings that bring me back. read more

Returned after 4 day trip and 13 hours of travel. Back car out and notice front passenger side is grinding and lower. Get out of car to inspect. Flat tire. Return to driver side to see that the door closed and locked behind me. Now I am locked out, car running, without phone (in car) with a flat tire. Qwik Park was great. Helped me call AAA, provided rides and comfort. Out in 30 min. Will not park anywhere else. read more

Never use this parking service. US Park, Airlines Park, Detroit Airport Park, Park N Fly, and Park N Go are only a few of the other companies who had sent multiple Shuttles in the 40 minutes we had waited before giving up and having to order an Uber to the parking lot. Our flight landed at 2 am. On top of all that, they were not even answering the calls on any numbers that were provided online or on our parking ticket. They offered no compensation and refused to cover our Uber fair to their lot. Absolutely terrible service. Never use this parking service! After arriving by Uber along with another group of travelers, we were provided with more terrible service from the clerks who took no accountability and simply stated it wasn't their fault and the phones just weren't working. We asked to contact a supervisor and were provided with the same number that we had tried calling over 20 times as we were waiting. Again, NEVER EVER use this parking service. read more

Leaving qwik park to arrive at Metro took too long as we were told only one other party was joining but it ended up being 2 more parties which put us in a long security line and we barely made our flight. Pickup was not much better as both my daughter and I had to call for a van at 6 a.m. The service advisor who took our call was quite snippy and explained that 5 minutes was false advertising and the van would be there shortly. We waited about 15 minutes. The nice driver did take our suitcase out of the van but again my daughter had to lift it into the van leaving the airport. I am going back to Airlines Parking and will pay the extra $3.00 . Qwik Park was not quick and definitely not worth the hassle. read more

I always use Qwik Park when I travel. The vans are clean and they have a lot of them so you never have to wait long for one to come along. What happened to me last night confirmed that I will never use another parking company. After being gone for about 11days I was dropped off at my car at 10pm. Needless to say after several days in below 0 weather, the car did not start. I spent about 15 min under the hood trying to jump it with my charging system only to discover that I forgot to charge my jump starter. It's about -3 now and I can't feel my hands so I call the Qwik Park number and with in minutes Billy shows up to help me with a portable charger, the only problem is that I drive a hybrid and neither one of us knew how to jump start a hybrid. It's cold we're in the dark with only the light from our cell phones, now both our hands are freezing. I wanted to give up and call road service or go to a hotel but Billy said "no I'm gonna get you home tonight ". We warmed up in his van while he went back to the main office to get more tools. In the meantime, I Google a video on how to jumpstart a hybrid vehicle. I showed Billy and when we got back to the car, we jump started it within 30 seconds. I still had a 2hr drive after that, but Billy didn't leave my side, and he was right, he got me home. I believe God sent Billy to me that night. Convenient. I always use Qwik Park when flying out of Metro. It is $15 per day. The drivers are professional and friendly. Michelle was especially great, waiting for me to get everything into my car before she left me alone in the parking lot. Had a nice conversation with her on our travel from the airport as well. Just made it to DTW and used Qwik Park for my vehicle. I was blown away with the customer service of one of their transit bus employees. Tony Isho was the most outstanding service personnel that I have seen in decades. He was so helpful, personable, high energy that he had the whole bus smiling. If I was in Qwik Park management, I would promote him to Customer Service trainer and never let him go. Nice job Tony! read more

After talking to Quik Park, I agreed to give them a second chance. My experience had to do with very late arrivals. I've tried them twice since and while I didn't arrive after 11pm, I did get to the pickup area at around 10pm. Both of these times, I received exceptional service... from the person making sure that there was some organization in the waiting area to the drivers- everyone was very friendly and very efficient. Buses arrived within minutes and there was one arriving right after another. I'm certain that my review didn't have anything to do with this , but when Quik Park reached out to me, at least I felt like I was being heard and that it would be communicated to the right people to address the issues. My hat's off to the people here- I'll still have to see how they perform with a very late arrival but so far so good. read more

I have had great experiences twice already with them in June and July of 2023. System is pretty easy. You can reserve online to get the lower rate 12/day which is what we did the first time and the second time we parked we just grabbed a ticket at the gate and then the lady at the booth tells you what letter lane to park in. The shuttle that picks you up is right at your car as soon as you have parked, and the driver gives you a ticket to let them know where to drop you off when you return. That ticket is very important! Hold on to it for life!! The shuttle then takes you to the general ground transportation area where they drop you off and pick you up upon arrival. We got lucky and somebody had already called for the shuttle when our flight arrived but know that you should call and give them 10-15 min or so to get you. Then that's it! You pay at the gate on your way out after returning to your car if you didn't pre pay. Seamless each time and for that I give it 5 stars! Well done Qwik park! read more

DO NOT PARK HERE!! My mother car was broken into with broken a window. We had to pay for a tow truck to come get her car from this parking place. We received this text message stating that they are not responsible for people breaking into their lot and they're not gonna pay for the damages. You would think if multiple cars were broken into they would take some type of responsibility. They didn't even offer a free parking for our next visit. When we park at these places, we believe that our car would be taken care of but no, we came back with a broken window and money that we didn't need to spend. Just for them to say that's why we have insurance. They can't even state when the vehicle was broken into. It rained last week and the car could've been damaged siting there. Good secure lot in a convenient location. It's hit or miss with helpfulness. On most recent trip, on the way to the airport, a young woman driver made no effort whatsoever to help anyone with their bags. On the way back to the lot, an older man driver went out of his way to help everyone. The tips reflected the amount of effort. Would be nice if management would weed out the lazy drivers. read more

We recently used Qwik Park and had left my husband's breathing machine on our bus. We notified them right away, within the hour, and they said they would get back with us. He left his contact information and hung up. By the next morning, no one contacted us. The next morning, my husband drove back to see if he could search for his bag, thinking he left it in the parking lot. When he got there, he told the window his situation and they said no one had turned in a bag. They let him in to search for the bag, after he pulled a ticket. He searched the area where we parked but the bag was not there. When he went to leave, they stopped him to say that they did have his bag after all. Then they charged him $14 for searching for his bag because "you pulled a ticket to go into the parking lot." They would not let him out until he paid. read more

Most amazing experience, I can't say enough about Qwik Park!!! When driver Billy dropped me off at my car I said, "Thanks, happy holidays." He replied, "I'm not leaving until you get in your car and make sure it starts." I thought that wasn't really necessary, but guess what ... my car didn't start in the cold! It had some juice in it, but the fuel wasn't kicking in, and Billy spent about 15 minutes with me out in the cold trying to figure things out. Then we drove in the shuttle back to their home base to get a battery jumper, brought it back to my car, and found out that we couldn't get the hood open - it was frozen shut! Billy wouldn't give up. We drove the shuttle back to the home base, got a 5 gallon bucket of hot water, came back to my car, poured it over the hood, and on the last attempt of trying to get the hood open, it finally popped! Billy hooked up the cables, gave it some extra charge, and it was just enough to get my car started! I had no idea what else I was going to do, but Billy took about an hour of his time to stop driving the shuttle and attend to my needs. I'm so incredibly grateful. Then, when I got into my car and he drove away, I realized I left my backpack in the shuttle!! No worries - he left it at home base for me as he had to run off and make more shuttle runs. The ladies at home base were incredibly helpful and kind and were on the lookout for me, waiting for me to come through the gate so they could give my backpack back to me. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. What could have been a completely miserable night was brightened by the light of some super kind people who work at Qwik Park Detroit Metro Airport. This was way easier than I had expected. We had to park far in the back, but the shuttle came and picked us up where we parked our car. It was a quick ride to the airport. On the way back, we found the shuttle quickly and they took us back to our car easily. Don't forget to find coupons or see if you have a company discount. Well, I'm back. I travel every week and in the metro Detroit area the parking options feel limited to me. There's 3-4 that are owned by the same owner, US Park, Qwik Park American Parking. Qwik Park, during the Summer was lacking drivers. It was not uncommon to wait. And wait. And wait for a bus to pickup from the airport. But recently they seem to have resolved some of their organizational issues which is really nice. For the most part the drivers go way above and beyond but I've had 1-2 drivers who did not assist and I was keenly aware of it. I couldn't figure out why this was and so eventually I started shopping around. Anyway I'm hoping this new dispatcher loves her job and the drivers are evenly distributed around the airport so that all of the terminals have good service. We'll see!! read more

I just wanted to leave a quick review for the positive experience I recently had. I did a little research on the available options and was a bit hesitant with all of them because of the reviews complaining about a long wait time to be taken back to the lot from the terminal. I'm happy to report I had no issues. The day I parked couldn't have been easier. The attendant let me know which row to park in. As soon as we exited the car and got out our bags, the shuttle was waiting for us to get in. It was a quick ride to the terminal. Upon landing and waiting for the shuttle to take us back to the lot, the wait was less than 5 minutes. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly. TIP: If you have an AAA card, do NOT pre-book online and pay in advance! Pay when you leave and hand your AAA card with your form of payment. I only had to pay $10.00 per day using this method. I could not believe how affordable it worked out to be! The discount is not available online so do NOT book in advance if you want the AAA discount. Thanks, Qwik Park! read more

Ive never tried this company until my recent trip. On a previous trip, as I was waiting for my other company shuttle I noticed this shittle and parked with them this time. The lot is easy to find, well lit and quite large. Good staff and a great experience. I didnt have to wait at all once I got down to ground transportation. The red color of the shuttle stands out. I forgot my coupon from the website for $11 a day but it was $10 per day with my AAA card. Great experience and certainly much easier than to get a drop off from family/friends when you live 1 hr away read more
