Couldn't get my disabled mom in. Only one side has a ramp style sidewalk and being in a wheelchair we could not just go around. I asked the staff to do something and they told me there was nothing they can do. Definitely not ADA compliant.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was one of those heavily processed, mechanically separated chicken patties that you get at McDonalds for $1. Was hoping for a real piece of chicken. The roast beef sandwich was nothing special. Not terrible but when I peeled the top bun off, just the pile of beef and nothing else, looked unappealing. Chicken tortilla soup actually had some spice, which I liked. But it lacked heartiness, it was more like a broth. I don't see any value here over your average fast food chain, unfortunately.

Inedible, hard and dry meat. The WORST beefaroo experience ever. Waste of money.

Love this place. True, not quite as good since the founding family sold it, but it's close enough for me!

Late night snack after work around 945pm! Burger and cheese fries were good as always, fries could of been a little more hot in temperature.

I had all the options! We ordered the Death Grip IPA and Briéekraut Oktoberfest, which we both loved. We started our meal with an order of nachos to start, and they were covered in a delicious nacho "cheese" and a a chili. My meal was the loaded Mac n Cheezy Bowl - which was so incredible (especially when you don't need to worry about the amount of dairy in it!!). My husband got the Grilled Cheeze Steak Tacos and really enjoyed them! The taco is made with a mini quesadilla as the shell with a delicious filling. Our server was extremely friendly, welcoming, and ensured a great experience. The restaurant definitely feels like a classic brewery with fun decorations and exposed brewing equipment, which is always awesome to see. Added plus is they have free Tesla charging for customers! (Possibly other electric car charging, but I didn't check) We will definitely be back!

The service was amazing, but we forgot the name of the server. She was helpful, gave recommendations and assisted in decisions between items. We ordered an appetizer of shrimp and it was AMAZING! Great portion size and great taste. We had the Mac and Cheese and the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap. Both items were delicious and more than enough food to fill us up and have leftovers. The best part of the restaurant is the draft wall. You can choose from multiple types of beer, mixed drinks, or straight liquor for mixing yourself. It added fun to the experience pouring your own beverages. The bar is very spacious and allows for multiple seating scenarios from high tops to regular chairs, to couches. You can watch teams play sports below or play pool and darts. I am very glad we gave them a second chance, it was worth the trip back. Thank you for a great evening.

This restaurant actually features 2 business menus: Broaster's Chicken and  KC's burgers…read more Note- I have done a supplemental video tied to this Yelp review on YouTube Channel: Mad Respect TV I've actually reviewed Broaster's in the past and I admit, I always want to eat from this place whenever I watch Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad. It reminds me of Los Pollos Hermanos. The chicken is darn good, and is my favorite place to go if I'm not in the mood for popeyes. I've had their chicken several times both spicy and mild. I often get potato wedges, and I think I've done Macoroni bites in the past for the kids The KC Burger Bar was a new one for me. It was a recent change to this business, but the menu looks tasty enough. For this trip I went with the KC special 1/2 pound minus the egg,  b/c im not a huge fan of doing that to a burger. To begin, good presentation. In this I had ham , a sausage patty, Ketchup, & Mustard. Good Presentation all around and they bring it to you if you dine in. I'm no master when it comes to burger building, but it was a good enough menu. Only real downside to the burger itself is that I can't eat  burgers normally when it is this complicated. It has always been a character flaw of mine. If I try to eat a burger like this with my hands, it falls apart. Luckily they gave me a knife and the meats were really good, especially the ham, and I'm not a big ham guy. Finally - It was pricey ...... with what you see here costing me over $19 General pros for both menus Good flavor generally on all items. Nothing has ever been really bland from either menu. They are good with their seasoning Good service, and they keep the place pretty spotless. A unique feature is the slots in house The Con Price wise you're going to have to splurge on the burger end. The chicken side of the menu is far more economical The Verdict: 4 stars on Yelp - A notch above standard in terms of fast  food. Higher end of the fast scale. We will be back. I am a fan and will recommend

Note: More information is available on my Yelp profile…read more The Mill is a bar and grill style restaurant that opened in May 2023, and at time of review it had been open nearly a year. Pros: + One of the more curious questions about the Mill I ask myself was, is it more of a restaurant or bar? I've deemed it more the former. The stronger restaurant vibe makes it more family friendly, helps with the food quality, and just gives it a better atmosphere + Speaking of atmosphere, the building itself had gone under a lot of renovation and its cleara lot of effort went into the design of the bar and dining area. Very well crafted and very clean. Feels up to date with the times. + This makes it a good spot for group events. It could easily handle 30+ people, and the Mill has a crazy amount of TV's which come in great for sporting events + early 2024 added gaming machines if playing slots is your thing + One final note on the atmosphere I really like their outdoor patio and they have wonderful potential for summer outdoor seating if they became so inclined. + The food throughout my visits have maintained an exceptional level of quality that I find unusual for a bar and grill. Most of the time, I simply tolerate food at a sports bar style establishment. The food here is actually consistently good, and could compete with many sit down corporate chains out there. + Patrons will not go hungry except for maybe the heartiest of teenagers + The Mill has steadily simplified the menu which is probably a good call. My personal favorites tend to be the burgers, and the soups. + There are menu items that I will also get from here that I would "almost never" try at a bar. The Mill is surprisingly great at salads, veggies, and sandwiches. The Turkey BLT being a personal favorite. This place really dispels the notion that I would have to stick to fried food + One of the most unique things about the Mill is the owner's tendency to allow their staff to experiment. I've seen it with entrees, drinks and especially soups. In my opinion this keeps their menu fresh and the offerings interesting. Cons: -Speaking of unusual this brings me to my first con. It's easy to pass and miss this place from the road due to their geographical location. It's only accessible via service road on IL 251, and hides the place and messes with GPS a little - I love the soups, but it is a complete roulette wheel as to what will be available on a given day. -Finally an element that is common in any business (especially with sports bars) post COVID is the realities of staffing. As I've done more travelling in recent years, I've noticed that many places especially restaurants may be subject to a service level drop due to staffing. It has forced me to re-evaluate how much emphasis I place on service speed. Therefore I no longer consider it to be a realible rating tool Bottom Line: ***It's clear to me that the ownership and staff at The Mill have great passion and drive. They are a great local business. I am usually careful about giving the 5 star, but in this case I feel it is warranted. Their food quality and consistency is easily a cut abovemost "bar businesses" in the immediate area.

The dressing was spoiled. The server never came to check on us and ask how things were. My husband had a Reuben that was all shredded and unchewable. My grand daughter had nacho chips with a big glob of cheese sauce on it. When this place opened, it was decent. It has totally gone down hill. The server was horrible. Maybe 5 people in the restaurant and she was more concerned about her phone. Plus she had zits all over her face. I guess it was better that she didn't come to check on us. When Janelle and Taylor were here it was different. I really would like a refund. Inedible food. Disgusting. If you want a beer, maybe. Don't order food. Plus, the cook was sitting at the bar watching tv and drinking with his friend. No manager in sight. I will never go back and never ever recommend this place to anyone. No wonder TopDawg is always packed (right down the street) They care about their food and presentation. Do not waste your time and money here.
