Bee Tree Park is beautiful and well maintained. I have been to events here. And, I have often stopped by to eat my lunch at one of the many picnic table in the park. Very peaceful. read more

Bee Tree Park is my childhood. I love Bee Tree so much. The ancient mansion when you walk in is gorgeous. The playground (I may be too old for) is super nice and upscale. The lake is gorgeous to walk around and the trails are so pretty. In 2019 we walked around the lake almost every day the entire year. read more

We love Bee Tree Park!! It has a great playground for the kids - and even has a tiny little playground off the main onefor small children!! We took our son fishing here last weekend and he really enjoyed it! Overall really great park - but maybe go to the bathroom at home both our son and daughter did not enjoy going to the bathroom at the park. read more

Amazing lake to fish and a trail that's looks out onto the Mississippi. There are several trails here including fisherman's trail. It's about a 25 minute drive from the city and is right on the border of St. Louis county and Jefferson county. This park is run by St. Louis county parks. read more

This oft forgotten south county park jewel has one of the best park views in town. The park is located on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. I love coming here to sit on a bench and read and occasionally get lost in the view when my book isn't holding my interest. There are ton of pavillions, perfect for picnicking (they can be reserved through the county park service). Some of the pavillions have electrical outlets and bbq pits included. It makes for a nice situation for any family picnic. There is a hiking trail, but it's not super long and not incredibly challenging. It is, however, perfect, for a leisurely hike with fantastic views of the river at random turns. Also, a fully stocked lake that, with appropriate permit, allows for public fishing round out the features of this park. The park isn't huge, it doesn't offer a lot of paths or have a ton of sports fields, but it's great for a picnic or for a family gathering. read more

This is a beautiful park with overlooks of the river and a nice lake and walking trails. It has an old house called Nymphs mansion.

It's very pretty. We walked a few trails and the wildlife is awesome. Note: Paw paw trail is narrow and with the recent wet weather slippery. Not ideal for anyone looking for a gentle stroll. The old mansion is beautiful, it's a shame they don't have it refurbished and open to the public. It would be a fantastic venue, along with the wedding garden. read more

I did like that when you pull up to this park, you immediately see this beautiful house. I was a bit confused on where to go. The signage is not the best. Buddy and I started on a trail. One sign said that it was the Fishermans trail and it was .08 miles. I felt like it was longer, but I am not a good judge of distance. Since I had Buddy with me I stayed to the flatter trail. I did like walking around the lake. It reminded me of walking around my grandpa's lake. I did not like that we were barely out of the car and Buddy squatted for a giant sized poop. (sorry people poop happens). I went to pick it up. (Yes i do clean up after my dog.) Someone apparently does not feel this way because there was an older pile next to his. I would be back. I do like the scenery. Only thing I rreally don't care for is the lack of parking lots and walkways. As I was leaving, a group of 3 young children, an older woman, and a middle aged woman were walkiing in the middle of the drive. read more

I love Bee Tree Park. Its so picturesque, overlooks on the Mississippi, a nice pond with fishing, the mansion and gardens and nicely kept trails. Its also a very popular place for photo shoots and weddings. In fact I had my wedding the gardens outside the mansion! I do wish the mansion would be rehabbed and open to the public though, bummer you can only see it from the outside because I know it has some amazing views and architecture. The only drawback of the park is that its so overcrowded with people wanting to take pictures. I mentioned I had my wedding there, meaning we paid and reserved the garden for the entire day. People were so rude, after our ceremony we were taking our pictures and everywhere we turned there was someone crowding us in our area taking their own homecoming, senior or family pics. We just reserved the garden not the whole park there were plenty of other places these folks could have gone. I literally in my wedding dress had to go up to people and ask them to move or leave so we could get our shots, that it was reserved. There was a sign stating that it was reserved but no one there to enforce that. I wouldn't think you would have to enforce it when there is clearly a wedding taking place but people clearly didn't care. I guess its just that great of a park that everyone needs to be there at all times! read more

This is such a great park! The trails are great and the views of the Mississippi River are amazing. If you walk down the trail past the main overlook spot you will find tons of small offshoots from the main trail that lead to nice rocks to sit on and look at the river. Pretty much the best thing ever. The lake here is pretty nice too and has a boat ramp. Also, there is apparently an old castle somewhere in the woods on the Ameren UE property adjacent to the park. I haven't checked it out, though. read more

This is a very nice park by the river. We had a nice picnic and headed to the playground. Parents be warned if you have very small kids the 3 slides are all very steep and fast. Almost every child that went down complained of injuries or it being too fast, or scary. read more

I went to this park after my wedding for photo shoot. Out was around 4pm, and absolutely beautiful! The fountain, the stone work, the view, and the trees with the leaves turning beautiful colors for fall! I absolutely recommend for a visit as well. read more

Bee Tree park is a staple in Oakville. I like bringing the family dogs for walks here. They offer a nice playground, walking trails, and a pond for fishing. During wedding and prom season, you'll find gussied up people posing for pictures in front of the cool brick building/house. The park is a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area. They offer special events, including weddings. read more

Very nice park, especially if you live way south like I do. Good sized playground and plenty of open space for walking and playing. They also have a decent sized lake for fishing, but I haven't fished there yet so no reviews on quality. read more

Very beautiful park! Had my wedding here last August by the house and the fountain overlooking the bluffs. The house was beautiful in the pictures. You do not get to go inside the house, it's outside only. Loved the views of the river. Can't say much about the rest of the park since we were mainly at this part but it looked like it had a cute playground and a nice lake. read more

Bee Tree Park is very lovely. This was my first time at the park. It was a crisp fall day, and the park seemed quit. There were many families getting pictures taken. My dog enjoyed the trails and lake. It was nice to enjoy a picnic over looking the lake. I am now interested in having my wedding by the museum next to the fountain. read more
