This place is a GEM!!! The food was amazing and the ambience was very relaxing in the back outside area. It was so chill and cozy. The service was great and everyone was very polite. Definitely worth it and I'm coming back read more

Nice snack food and coffee. Patio at the back is spacious but a touch chilly in Winter.

Ordered a ham & cheese croissant and an iced matcha latte, and it all came out so quickly. The worker at the register even brought the food over to me The croissant was flaky and airy and the ham & cheese inside was perfect (not too salty-jusssttt right!) The matcha latte was decent (more milky than I like but to each their own!) Had to take a picture of my breakfast with the cute holiday decor~ read more

Bee Cafe - Ham and Cheese Croissant Sandwich Macha Latte - Cafes Near Me - Woodside, New York

Definitely in for a treat if you stop by. Great work spot that is airy, great lighting and various seating options (out front or in the back). If you are looking for an outdoor feel and natural light, Bee Cafe is a must. Enjoyed small bites and boba tea (the grilled chicken was tasty). Missed getting 5 stars because the wifi was not very strong. read more

Bee Cafe - Bee Breakfast Sandwich - Cafes Near Me - Woodside, New York

This review is based solely on their drinks (non-alcoholic). I live a short walk away and only ever have time to order from their coffee menu. I don't have a coffee machine in my house and I usually splurge on a coffee when I'm working in the office or out with friends. Since this cafe has opened I've been ordering different types of caffeinated drinks to try, but I'm never fully impressed. In the past year I've ordered: - small iced coffee (with simple syrup) twice - small iced cold brew (with simple syrup) - large iced matcha latte (as is) - small iced cappuccino (as is) - small passion fruit boba (as is) Simple syrup and milk (or alternative) are extra unless your order comes with these things already. In the times I've placed my order, I always ask for a small pump of simple syrup, and I'm always walking out the door with a cup of coffee with a thick visible layer of syrup at the bottom. Not everyone is a huge fan of sickly sweet coffee, but I've learned my lesson after three attempts at ordering coffee from here. I'll stick to adding sugar on my own. As an avid iced coffee drinker, I've ordered many cups of iced coffee and have never been given so much simple syrup as I have from this cafe. I think if you prefer simple syrup in your iced drinks, keep this in mind. Matcha latte was not worth the price I paid for it (can't remember the exact amount, but it was over $6). From experience, many cafes stick to using lower end matcha but you can sometimes still taste the flavor. My drink tasted mostly of milk. The green color is the only thing which indicated that it's matcha flavored. Iced cappuccino was fine. If anything, just order a shot of expresso and go home and add your own milk/ice. By this point I knew not to ask for a pump of simple syrup, knowing I'd be walking out with an overly sweet drink. Boba drink was also overly sweet, and the tapioca was hard. Would not recommend these types of drinks from here after reading other reviews about the same issue. If you're not fussy with your coffee, I don't think it's worth ordering anything other than a regular coffee. For me, this cafe is walking distance from my house and it's convenient. read more

A cute place for brunch! The place is pretty cute, they have a backyard outdoor seating area. I had the empanadas and burata toast. The empanadas was pretty good, the toast was okay not that much flavor. Also had the strawberry latte which was pretty sweet but still good. Loved that the servers were very friendly and nice! read more

Bee Cafe - Cafes Near Me - Woodside, New York

Looking for a reprieve from the cold NY winters my family and I were looking for a warm café to warm up in. Tired of the same old limited options in Woodside I had to look around for something new and ended up in this lovely little café. Right off the bat I have to say that I love the decor. I stress ambiance in a lot of my reviews, but I REALLY like the ambiance in here. It's like having coffee in your friend's large backyard in Connecticut, but decked out with a nice gazebo and tastefully potted plants. The one point that I do have to bring up is that this cafe is directly connected to the laundromat next door, and as such they have an open door between the two. Why might this be a problem you ask? Well the smell of fresh laundry does indeed waft into the air, and some people may enjoy that, but I feel like it intruded on the experience and the taste of some of the food I had (smell affects taste after all!) As far as the food goes, it's about average price compared to other coffee shops in the area. I ordered what appeared to be their most famous menu items; the pork buns and a cafe mocha. The cafe mocha was expertly made, and relatively rich which I really enjoyed. The barista is definitely skilled as he had made latte art in it (was not expecting it, but nice touch!) As far as the pork buns go they tasted good, but unfortunately they also fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I would recommend going here to hangout, for a good cup of coffee/espresso, or just to warm up, as long as you don't mind the smell of the laundry next door! read more

Such a quaint place! I love that this exists in woodside and I wish I knew earlier! The service is great and everyone is very friendly. The latte was so yummy!!! Unfortunately not every place can get a latte right, this place thankfully does! I saw Devocion coffee packaging which is awesome! The croissant was good and you could taste the butter. They have loyalty cards you can get stamped for coffee and wine! And they have a decent sized wine cellar! (Looks like it's refrigerated) and there is another outdoor seating area in the back that is super cute too!! I will coming back and with friends : D read more

Bee Cafe is a cozy breakfast and lunch spot with ample seating space. The cafe is directly connected to a laundromat, which I think is such a cute and ingenius idea! I wish I could grab a coffee or snack while I did my laundry. Alas, Bee Cafe is a little too far for me. My partner and I each enjoyed breakfast and are looking forward to returning to try more. For my fellow vegetarians, it was an easy fix to swap out meat for sliced avocado instead. read more

This truly is the definition of a hidden gem! In fact this might have been the best place and my favorite cafes in Queens to date! The ambience, service, food, coffee, everything is just ON POINT! The place is cutely conected to a laundromat, which might sounds weird but I promise you only adds to the fun vibe. They have outdoor seating at the front which was nicely designed and decorated. There are few seats inside, but the best part is the garden seating on the back. It was spacious, beautifully designed, with fun and casual ambience. It was so comfortable that it literally takes you away from the messiness of the world outside for awhile. They have a lunch combo which includes sandwich + soup + fried + soda (add a few more bucks to upgrade to cold brew) for around $13.99. However, I didn't go for the combo and went for Grilled Chicken Panini (comes with fries) and Iced Coffee instead. The sandwich was really good! Ciabatta bread was nicely chewy. The grilled chicken was close to coming off as dry but they did such a great job on slathering just the right amount of sauce so it was balanced in texture and moisture. The tomato, avocado, and lettuce tied the whole thing together well. Fries were crispy too! Overall, I was very pleased with my lunch On top of that, service was awesome! Staffs were very welcoming and hospitable! Very reasonably priced too! Definitely will put it in my go-to place! Keep up the good work read more

Been meaning to go here since I saw the outdoor seating and i went with my friend. As soon as we entered we were greeted and one of the lady even recommended us a drink and a dessert. I got the milk tea shortcake and I really loved how cute and sweet it was, just like I like my tea. Me and my friend both got the grilled chicken panini that comes with a small serving of fries. I left full and the girl at the front making the drink was also very sweet. I would def go here again if they add more chicken items. But so far so good read more

Lovely little cafe with a small patio off to the side of the establishment. Great coffee, healthy choices for breakfast and lunch. The place is decorated ultra cozy and bright for a great vibe. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was $16. Not worth it, they need to bring the price down more to $6, then maybe it will make more sense.

Vibe is superb. Cute spot for a quick coffee and bite. Good and healthy food options. Food could have been a bit tastier, but still above average. We got the avocado toast (cottage cheese greens and a lot of avocado) which was a good size however a little bland with only a touch of paprika. Also ordered the big bee breakfast sandwich which had a lot of ingredients so I expected it to taste flavorful. read more

It was good. But I think I just went there, for the last time. Bee Cafe was one of my choices around. Place is nice, and crowded. But today when I went again, after I paid for my large coffee & a cookie, the cashier told me I could only sit for 1 hour. (not telling me before I paid) I went there a few days ago. They didn't have this rule back then. The reason I loved going was its mostly not crowded. There wasn't many customers where looking for dine in. But somehow they just made up this rule. I wasn't even had enough time to finish my large coffee. I think rather go back to my another favorite cafe, the Korean cafe just a couple blocks away. They never made up such time limit rule. Too bad, I won't go to a cafe that I can only sit for 60 minutes. read more

This is a cute little place! We went here for a meeting/co-working session and it was perfect. It is kind of small, but it wasn't really packed, so we got seats. The decor and ambiance deserve 5 stars. I've tried their chicken sandwich on two occasions. The first time I tried it, it was delicious, the second time around the chicken was extremely dry and hard to chew. I also tried the beef empanada today which was filled with vegetables. The empanada was average tasting but the dipping sauce was pretty good. Overall a great cafe to visit with friends. read more

My friend raved about the kimchi fries so I had a few pieces, not as bad as I was imagining it to be. The combination works. Personally, I'm just not a fan of kimchi or fries. I ordered online the avocado toast without cottage cheese. I am not a fan of it, never liked it, I don't like to eat dairy. I marked that I didn't want the cheese and I wrote in the memo that I didn't want the cheese. I noted if they can add tomato instead of the cheese, that would be great. What did I find on my toast? Cottage cheese. I was highly disappointed they totally ignored what I put down! Despite the cravings my friend gets, I will not be going back. Please read requests and carefully look through the orders so that you can make it correctly. read more

This is one of the nicest spots for good coffee around, but after avoiding writing a review a couple times, I got tired of walking in and receiving a terrible service. I felt like being kicked out of the place, basically, cause she'd not even try to show sizes available, or call my coffee when it was ready. I still left a tip, cause that's the right thing to do, but I hope the manager sees this and makes a move, or not just me, but more people will definitely stop going there. Make it better read more

LOVED the ambiance of the place! The staff was also super friendly and helpful. We ordered the burrata toast, and after we were served, a lady came out to ask us if we wanted to warm the dish up since sitting outside makes it cold fast. This place was my "Central Perk." I was here often and for hours working. The employees are friendly and attentive! The space is sooo soo cute which is why I kept going back. It was such a relaxing environment - both the backyard and the outdoor seating near the sidewalk. It's quiet enough to do calls and cute enough to be a nice background during video calls. I will say though, the wifi could be better. Its always been very slow. The menu is really hit or miss. I think I've tried every OG item they've had. The coffee isn't the best. I think it's too watery. (I've tried the place they get the coffee beans from and it's delicious! In Brooklyn!) Bubble tea is okay. My favorite has always been the bee puffs and breakfast sandwich. They still taste delicious. I don't recommend the ham and cheese croissant, way too much cheese and ham. Also didn't like the pork buns. I liked them back when they first opened and used roast pork, but now that it's made with pork belly pieces, it's way too fatty. The prices have increased A LOT over the years and I can't justify going there anymore. Also, the laptop rule is inconvenient for those who work till 6pm or would like to unwind with a glass of wine and video call someone after work to talk about their day. read more

I went here for one of the collab that they were doing. This place is really pretty both indoors and their outdoor seating. Since I came here for the collab, I only ordered a drink from here while I had food from the vendors they worked with for the event. This is a place you just come in and they kind of just leave you alone, they don't really bother you nor will you be notified about their backdoor seating. You kind of have to just look around as they don't really greet you except to say hello if they're not busy. The drink, a mango tea, was sweet and refreshing. I had plans on coming back when I visit my friend who lives nearby but unfortunately with nyc vaccine passport requirement that they're following, I don't support businesses excluding people. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone who lives nearby, but not something I'd go out of my way to visit. My ratings is only based on my experience. read more

Even though I've lived in the neighborhood for a while, I've only recently visited the Bee Cafe. Upon arrival, I noticed that there was a very quaint, cute outdoor seating area in the front with comfortable chairs and tables. When I went inside, I was in awe because of nicely decorated it was and the atmosphere felt like a true cafe scene, making it a great place to do some work. I ordered empanadas, the grilled chicken panini, a caramel iced coffee, and a matcha latte. I took a seat in their back seating area, which was decorated like a living room and was super comfortable. I was impressed how quickly my food and drinks came. starting off with the drinks, I thought the iced coffee was delicious and had the right amount of caramel in it. However, the matcha latte is something I would avoid if you come here because they did not mix the matcha in well and the drink was super powdery. When I would take a sip, I could feel the matcha powder scratching my throat. Next, I tried the grilled chicken panini which actually is more of a sandwich then a panini, but absolutely tasty. The ingredients tasted really fresh and there was a generous amount of sauce, so the sandwich wasn't dry. It was odd that the fries were cold though even though the food was just brought out. Next, I had beef empanadas which were delicious, it had beef, peas, carrots, beans, and corn inside. The shell was fried to perfection, making it super crispy and hot. It was a little spicy, but I didn't mind it because it added another dimension of flavor to the empanada. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a nice place to do some work or hang out. read more
