Lovely cafe during the day and a bar in the evening (saw a sign that happy hour is 5-7pm). The hot drinks are served in wide large mugs that resembles a matcha bowl. The baristas are kind and efficient. Once they take your order, they get right to it. They go the extra mile- bringing your order to the table. Their restroom is wheelchair accessible and very clean. They brew Sey coffee and have information right by the register on the roast they use for espresso, pourover and cold brew. I got an Americano which was Colombian medium roast. It was a tiny bit acidic with dark chocolate note (deep and rich).

Really cute spot in the neighborhood! I love the vibe and it is a great spot to grab a coffee with friends. The coffee was really good and when I went it was SEY coffee beans. The servers are really nice and brought our coffee to us. I will definitely be back here and want to check out the space when it transforms at night.

I think the drinks here are fine. Nothing too exciting but I would love to come back and try some of the other options. What I enjoy most about this space is how big it is! There is a variety of comfy seating options to relax while you have a drink, do some work, or hang out with friends. The art on the walls is also indicative of a very feminist, Afro-Latina kinda vibe so we love that.

Melting Cups is a brand new (and awesome!) addition to the Sunnyside neighborhood. They have a great selection of coffees, teas, BIPOC/Women-owned craft beers, wine, pastries and more. They're current in a soft-opening phase but officially open on 10/10. Mario, their owner is really sweet and very passionate about his craft. Amanda is also awesome and really sweet. The back area is speakeasy-like and has some seriously beautiful furniture in warm and inviting tones of blue, golden yellow, toasty orange, etc. You can tell that a lot of love and care was put into creating this space. It will also feature an art gallery by a local artist. I can't wait to return to try some coffee cocktails after they're officially open!

It is a fantastic, cute, and friendly place to hang out with friends, colleagues, and relatives. Hubby mentioned the place to me, and I told him I'd check it out when the place started opening. He spoke with the owner, Mario, who was super nice. I stopped by to get my pumpkin latte prepared by Amanda. The pastries finish early here, so make sure you grab a bite. I came back to get my croissant. There are plenty of seats outside, inside, and back. The back area is a lounge where you sit and don't get up because the seats are too comfortable! Since the review has been in draft for a while, I can add one more latte! I came by for a Golden latte made by Agent. I heard the name Agent. I listen well but don't hear very well lol, so pardon me. I loved the Golden Latte! It's less caffeine with some spices. Both ladies who prepared my lattes are fantastic! Come by and say hello and get some latte! Everyone's friendly and ready to help with your favorite drinks, caffeine or decaf. Excellent place and service!

Iced cappuccino on a rainy day. Not too much milk and perfect foam!
