Customer service sent a second set of holders through the same service (Lonestar Overnight) that lost the first one. According to Lonestar tracking the package has been in Plano Texas since 11/29. 12/3 after contacting WS customer service I am told the candleholders are no longer available but I can go to one of about 70 stores that still might have stock. None of those stores are within 50 miles of where I live.

They carry somethings I don't feel like ordering from the U.K. Fortnum and Mason teas and jams... they have cookbooks, they have utensils, pots, pans, glasses, china, and etc. I also love the catalog it's helpful and oh the knives lots of them by the usual suspects. Know this they have been around over 45 years and they know how to do things but... like I said it's expensive. When they have a sale they have a pretty good one. You can also register for your wedding or housewarming. Great store but if you don't cook or bake it's not for you. I find some really great stuff and I usually buy my Silpat mats, pop over pans and a few other things here. Give it a view... cheers

My kitchen was supposed to take one week to complete. It took 4 months to reach the point it is at…read morenow and after pulling teeth just to get it to this point, it would seem Kitchen Express II has abandoned the idea of having a satisfied customer or properly finishing my kitchen. My contact there began avoiding my phone calls, more so than usual after the problems began. If that doesn't speak of the professionalism of this outfit, I don't know what does. There is no reason my kitchen should have taken this amount of time other than sheer incompetence and absolutely no attention to detail. The process has been a nightmare and I have received no apology of any sort from Kitchen Express II but I would expect nothing less of them given their track record thus far. After multiple calls on a day that my contact quite obviously refused to answer or call me back (and the person in question WAS in the office), I did finally receive a phone call from the owner claiming he "couldn't do anything else for me". I guess it was my fault that his incompetent employee measured incorrectly, ordered the wrong parts THREE times and the installer tried to pass off shoddy and hurried craftsmanship as "the way it's supposed to be". Apparently he was doing me a big favor by actually fixing the problems his employees were responsible for. What Kitchen Express II has done for me is give me multiple headaches, a ton of lost time and massive inconvenience for 4 months. As I pointed out above, many mistakes were made through-out this debacle with wrong parts being ordered several times, poor measuring which resulted in a less than desirable look and towards the end, sloppy and hurried craftsmanship as the contractor obviously just wanted to finish. My patience has been tried to the point of wanting to explode and I am normally a very laid-back person. I have come to accept some of the slightly less noticeable mistakes in an effort to draw this painful process to a close. Sadly, it is now certain that I will have to live with some of the larger mistakes as well. Needless to say, I would avoid Kitchen Express II like the plague for any sort of work in your home unless you're a masochist that enjoys incredibly frustrating, long, drawn-out home remodeling projects that result in a "mostly ok" finished project.

The kitchen counters (Granite) and new sink and faucet were all of the highest quality also. They have their own professional counter installers which I never could have done myself since they were granite. They installed the under mount sink. I installed the fauctet. When they told me they were booking into spring of 2024, I decided to look at other companies. I finally decided that if their work was as good as their reputation, it would be worth the wait. My bathroom was finished this week and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. From working with our designer, Dave, to the manager, Steve, with Sherri in the office, and to all the guys on our construction crew, especially Ron, Stephen, Nick, Tanner the electrician, Keil--even the Boces student Kadin--all of them were kind, professional, and patient with my questions. They were also patient with my pets who were very curious about the different sounds coming from the garage and bathroom. They worked clean every day and made sure to vacuum up all dust/debris before leaving in the afternoon. I was out of town for 3 of the weeks (it was a 6 week job) and Steve, the manager, was awesome about making a few minor changes that I wanted. They came in a bit under budget which was an absolute first experience in all my years of home renovations. I recommend them without reservation and will certainly use them when I update my kitchen. I have tried to get estimates for jobs from Inde three times. I don't know why I even bothered the…read more2nd and 3rd time. Each time their customer service is absolutely non-existent. I have never once gotten a promised quote for the work. This last time I went in nobody greeted me although there were several people working and several chatting amongst themselves. Finally someone helped me after I searched them out and asked for help. I provided my kitchen sketches and she promised an estimate. It never came. I went back in THE.NEXT.DAY. To show my husband some of the kitchens, and the woman who had spent 15 mins with me had no idea she had met me the day before. It's been 5 weeks and no estimate or follow up. Inde is owned by a builder. They use the showroom to help customers that are building a house pick their finishes. Which is fine but why bothering opening to the public if you're not even interested in working with the public? The sales reps are not interested in you unless you're building a home. Not even if you're doing a $40,000 kitchen remodel. Don't even bother. Also, if you are going to work with them look closely at their displays. The work is mediocre. And they want you to drive over an hour away to pick your counters!!!

The quality of wood is soooo beautiful. We always get amazing compliments from anyone who sees the kitchen for the first time including from other service people who look with that "critical eye" of a professional. Both experiences- Whispering Pine never tried to sell us their design but helped us to bring our design to life. Over the years I have needed things from them: an extra shelf, extra stain/paint, shelf pegs and Whispering Pines looks back at our kitchen plan and provides them. Yesterday the spice-pull out from 2012 jammed (due to loose screw) and Edward from Whispering Pines came by and fixed the problem at no cost to us(13 years after the install)!!!!! The artistry, skills and work ethic that comes with Whispering Pines is unmatched.
