So I really like the franchise in general but this is the nastiest most unsettling location I have ever been to. And other locations have more business and wayyy less inventory. So my first time shoppingat this store, about 1&1/2yrs ago I walked in 20 minutes to closing, and was turned away at the door by a fat goblin with no neck, that was bringing in the exterior display items. I walked back to the car and my HWHITE husband went inside and walked by her and she greeted him. I followed him, and ran past her as she genuinely shouted for me to not attempt to shop. Boy did that bother and insult me. I quickly shopped and went to the check out with hubby. 3 empty handed fat losers stood behind the registers loudly discussing store gossip, including the goblin. Meanwhile 1 black employee tended to the long line of customers. Needless to say I haven't seen him or the other 3 since. Now fast forward to the date of these photos. I had been standing in line by myself and I kept hearing a rustling noise, and then I noticed the chips moving by themselves. Take a look at the photos and video. I was shaken physically when the rodent appeared. I asked a female Asian employee if there is a pest problem and she had a look of knowing on her face but asked me to elaborate. I showed her this video, and she actually didn't freak out. She rang me up and told me "that's not good, wow, have a nice night" Y'all this store has major issues. read more

If you're lucky you can get some good deals here, but you're better off comparison shopping if you know what you want. The layout is tricky as the aisles are small and the checkout is horrible. I was able to get some great deals on curtains for my house and I bought a pintuck bed in a bag set for my king bed which I absolutely love and the price was around $100. Not bad. However, quality/pricing is really hit or miss. Sadly, I can't give them more than 3 stars because it just seems as though most things are super marked up which is annoying. This is a great place to come for gift ideas for someone that loves to cook - they have tons of cool kitchen gadgets. read more

If you want to shop at a store that doesn't back their products then bed bath and beyond is the perfect store. We got one of their comforters, followed the washing instructions and it broke our washer. According to their "experts" we washed it correctly. Called bed bath and beyond and they refused to do anything. Wouldn't even let us exchange the smelly comforter for a new one. So now we are out the $200 for the comforter that smells since it broke the washer before it got cleaned and $700 for a new washer. I have tried to reach back out to get help from them but each time I tell my issue they hang up the phone. they have officially given up or maybe they are finally showing their true colors. read more

Yep. No wonder they are going to go under. Ordered Black Friday specials and they cancelled the order because they ran out of stock. No email or anything. I went online and checked on the order and yep cancelled. Customer Service verified it. The conversation ended like they resolved my issue with "Is there anything else I can do for you". Ordered a blender. I waited over 24 hrs for the email I could pick up my blender. Long story short, order was cancelled, not by me. Several chats, promises of calls, nothing. The store can be difficult to navigate. Although sections are labeled (Bathroom, Bedroom, Kitchen Supplies, etc.) I found that many miscellaneous items overlap between those categories and it leaves room for confusion. Space is tight and it can be a challenge to push a cart through the narrow aisles. I went searching for a bridal shower gift and was impressed with the variety of wedding gifts they had in stock. Every time I shop here, I have the best experience. The associates are friendly and knowledgable. I am always shopping for chemical-free, Eco-friendly items and the associates always know exactly what I am looking for. I recently came into the store to return a children's toy that stopped working. Even though the store didn't carry the item any longer, they searched online and called other stores to see if they had the time that we could exchange it for. In the end, no other stores carried the item, but the customer service was wonderful and they went above and beyond to try and help us out. read more

Can't say that I'm a fan of the place. It's very poorly managed and the hours posted online were false. Before I came in, I looked up the hours and it listed that this location was closing on 9pm. Well... It Clearly wasn't. I came in at 6:30pm. Had a gift card from Christmas and decided to do some shopping. I have never been here before and they had a lot of nice things here so I took my my time walking around checking out the store. I began to notice how quiet the store was with less people talking and only the sounds of the music playing. I didn't think anything of it, and continued to shop. Then I heard some woman yell across the store saying "there they are!!! Are you guys almost done??" And I look up and say "Why? You guys closing soon?" Then she replies "Um well, we are already closed! You need to check out. Hurry please, we have one register open and ready for you." So I drop most of my items and carry a bit of what I was buying to the register. As I was standing there, I kept getting all of these glares from employees. My brother apologized to them for over staying and they just smirked and said "We'll let you out." What the hell is that? As we walked out, I turned around and saw this little paper on the door posting that they were closing at 7pm instead of 9pm. I guess it's completely my fault for not reading the posted new Sunday hours, but they should of announced it through the store that they were closing. So they'd won't make customers like myself feel humiliated. Most proper stores do announce this type of reminder to the customers that they are closing in so and so minutes. I still have money in my gift card, I'll go back and spend it.. After that, I won't be back to spend my own money. While they do have nice things... But the way they handle the customers is a absolute turn off. No thank you. read more

This store is nice but the aisle are cluttered with all type of stuff. BBB needs to either expand the aisle or take items off the side of the aisle. I almost took out items on the side as I was trying to turn the cart. They have a great selection and also, had things I didn't know existed at all. I went into the Frederick store to purchase a wedding gift for my brother about 2 weeks ago. They didn't have what I wanted off the registry in stock so I had to special order it. The guy who special ordered it for me spelled my name wrong, completely screwed up my email which I spelled to him and mailed it to the couple when I specifically asked to have it shipped directly to me. It was not wrapped and no gift message and sent to the couple. BBB just said "sorry". I am pi$$ed. How do you screw up an order that bad? I will not go back there. EVER! read more

Beware this store does not honor price matching which clearly marked on the website. Bait and switch . Suddenly the product is an old model which they don't carry but you can buy the newer model at a substantial price increase. They have no intention of honoring the price. Love the new layout of this store! The new home accessories are stylish! I know the size of the store did not change, but it seems larger and easier to maneuver. Corrine was the super friendly cashier. As always as I walked through the store I was asked if I needed help. The employees seem to like working here. There is a store much closer to home, but I will go out of my way to shop here for the service and selection. My wife and I went to return some Tervis Tumblers that we purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Frederick, Maryland. Tervis Tumblers have a lifetime guarantee and BBB is supposed to take their returns.. We were informed by the blond cashier with glasses and an under armor shirt with no name tag, that we would be getting less than half of what we spent on the glasses. We stood there for 20 minutes before we found that out. We were upset and as we left the store the cashier in the presence of David the store manager "that everyone wants something for free." I told her as we were leaving that we weren't looking for something for free. When I asked for the managers name yelled at me "he didn't do anything" If the lack of professionalism exhibited by this employee is indicative of your customer service one wonders how Bed, Bath and Beyond keeps its doors open. My wife and I have spent thousands of dollars at your stores and this experience has given us great pause to ever shop there again. read more

I went to Bed Bath & Beyond this evening at about 6:00 pm. They close at 7:00 pm. I was ready to check out at about 6:30 pm and was waiting in the line. Denise, an employee, directed me to another line that was opening up. On my way there, a man cut in front. Even though Denise told him she sent me over, he failed to understand. She then opened up another line and took me through. She apologized profusely about the man cutting in front. I didn't mind but she did and really cared about customer service. I always have a good experience there but this was above and beyond. read more
