My husband and I started a progressive dinner date night at Beckett's Table. The appetizers and drinks were delish. We tried the deviled eggs and Brussel sprouts. Yum!! We have been coming to Beckett's Table for about 15 years now for special dinners and of course, Restaurant Week! We decided on this place to have a small intimate wedding celebration for my daughter and son in-law with 16 of our close friends and families. We were so glad we picked Beckett's Table! We were blown away by the amazing top notch service by Tai, our wonderful server, by Restaurant manager Katie, our wonderful coordinator Scott, and by the most delicious food ever from Chef Beckett. Tai kept our drinks full and was very attentive to everyone at our celebration. Tai was so nice and super helpful. Thank you so much Tai! And we loved the food from Chef Beckett. Our guests ordered the osso buco, the signature short rib, the salmon and the cast-iron chicken. Every dish came out tender, moist and flavorful. I had the osso buco and OMG!!! It was so fork tender and moist, so delicious! Some of our guests said they will be coming back to try other items. We also had appetizers and salad. The deviled eggs were to die for! We gorged ourselves with extra servings. The chopped salad was so refreshing, light and savory that I could eat that everyday if I could! The brocolini was tender and fresh with a berry compote and soft cheese. The cheddar biscuits were usually good whenever we go to Beckett's Table but this time the biscuits were a bit dry. The apple butter helped a little with the dryness. Maybe this was an off day. The desserts were wonderful and not too heavy. We had miniature bite-sized creme brulee, pumpkin spice cake with apple butter and chocolate brownies. The creme brulee was the best and we all loved the small bite sized desserts after having large entrées and multiple appetizers. And the cocktails and wine were great. Saw Nancy's review and decided to give this place a go with a friend that was in from out of town. I would suggest making reservations, it got busy on the Sunday evening and that was the first question we were asked. We got seated at a four top pretty quick and it got busier by the time we left. The menu is small but has enough for just about any taste. I enjoyed the Green Chilie Pork Stew. Another had the Cast Iron Chicken, and another had the grilled cheese. I also got a side of the stuffing and we shared a s'more. The disappointment for me was the stuffing, it didn't taste seasoned - one of my other friends tried it and told me I was nuts. So, maybe that was me. We all pretty much loved our entrees, with the real stars being the S'more (which is so sweet I was glad we were sharing) and the Grilled Cheese (we we have all decided we would come back for). read more

We came in on a slow night to escape the crowd, so seating was rather quick. Service was also very friendly and fast. The menu items are standard American with a few seasonal spins on traditional dishes. Dear husband and I both settled on the Barrumundi (a Fish entree), which turned out to be excellent. Tonight it was a little more plain than normal but had a toasted almond on top! Entrees are well portioned and EVERY TIME in our experience cooked perfectly. Be prepared for a lovely combination of veggies along side.. things like tender black lentils, assorted mushrooms, smoked cauliflower, charred leeks, and onions to name a few. The salmon is always a wonderful choice- can't say enough to say it's crafted correctly...perfectly moist and the herbs on top & all the flavor-yummm! The Petite Chicken was accompanied by a "really really really good" bacon, cheddar biscuit stuffing per the Mr. He said nothing needed to be seasoned and the chicken was expertly cooked ...juicy throughout, crispy crust & very savory. Just when you feel so stuffed they reminded up about the lemon cream cheese ice cream. YES PLEASE!! Perhaps the best way to tell someone in hospitality " we love and appreciate you" is to write a review! We first went to Becketts because we appreciate that THEY appreciate and support AZ wine(Sunday specials) but we kept returning and now have attained " regulars" status because of everything else! And by everything, I mean everything. The staff truly had that perfect balance of attentiveness and respect. The food is so incredibly creative that literally every time I enjoy a newly invented vegetarian plate I say," how did they think of this fusion of flavors? How did they out-do themselves from last week? But fear not meat eaters, there are plenty of satiating dishes for you too. Cleanliness is paramount to me and they have that mastered too! All I have to say is Braised Rib Absolutely everything I wanted it to be!!! This place is just a classic! Walking in was just a surprise and the decor made my heart happy! I had a wonderful time eating here, the service was great and they had plenty of gluten free options which is a huge win. I could sit here a have a nice glass of wine by myself if I wanted but I suggest you bring someone you love. This place is a triple threat! It is so rare that you get the great service, the decadent food, and the vibes but Beckett's really has it all. So let's get started: when you walk in you immediately step into this warm and homey setting. It's cozy but classy. We had the appetizer grilled cheese and soup as one of our entrées. The fried cheese on the bread was absolutely crisp to perfection. We also had the short ribs which were so juicy and tender to share. We opted for the bacon cheddar biscuits with apple butter. Yes, you heard that right Apple butter! We had done some research prior to going, and I love that everything is like a fresh farm to table concept. The hostess was also so sweet and helpful. Beckett's has a limited menu so take a look at the menu beforehand to be sure they have something you would like. In our group everyone found something they wanted to try. Food was tasty.....although, I would not recommend their chop salad, fresh veggies but zero flavor:(. For dinner my husband had their famous short ribs and I had pork Osso Buco. Both were good. We had the pecan/fig pie with cream cheese ice cream for dessert and it was yummy! The wine menu was ok. We did order a bottle of wine which they were out of and it took a long time for someone to let us know this....we figured something was up, so we searched for a backup, although it would have been nice for them to recommend something closer to what we were looking forward to drinking. Made me eat my veggies! Fresh food, great service, not too pretentious, but expensive. We had salmon (incredible), 2 orders of short ribs, and the burger. My salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted phenomenal. Visiting from out of town. Service was excellent by Brian who was friendly and super knowledgeable. Spicy margarita was very good and definitely spicy. Food was excellent. We had the deviled egg app with caramelized fennel (flavors change weekly) and it was such a lovely surprise taste. My mom got the osso bucco with sesame miso Spaetzle - so tender and flavorful. I got the shrimp and grits which were excellent. We also got the bacon cheddar biscuits with apple butter and the maple pecan pie with cream cheese ice cream... so good. A must see. Super cute place. The food was superlative, the service was great, attentive and our servers were looking for anyone trying to get their attention: water glasses and coffee cups were kept filled (and, the coffee was very good, too). Our major takeaway was "this would be a great place for a date." It's great service and food, without being too loud or busy. Doesn't try too hard. We were impressed with the dishes we ordered, especially the deviled eggs and the short ribs (delicious sauce). The noble country toast was solid but could have easily had double the toppings! The bacon biscuit stuffing was a great secret find!! For dessert, we tried the fig & pecan pie and the vanilla bean creme brulee -- both of which were good. The only disappointing thing was that our desserts came out less warm than we wanted. The menu is seasonal, so you can bet we'll be back soon to see what they put out next! We started with the Mac & Cheese (no bacon added because one in our party is not a fan of bacon in food) and bacon cheddar biscuits ( had to order a 2nd order). The Mac & Cheese was good I think the added bacon would have made it better. It was really good. There was a sharp Cheese but it was not overwhelming. The biscuits were truly amazing and the apple butter was so delicious, it reminded me of my grandmothers apple butter! Next hubby and I split the fork tender short rib. Absolutely delicious ! And was definitely enough food. Son's girlfriend got the chicken and that was equally as delicious. I would order any of these again. Service was excelllent and the restraunt has a nice vibe.
