I rarely write reviews but this is necessary.
For the last 2 years I've looked online for someone who had the artistic ability to fix this mess on my face, but too many negative reviews always stopped me. Then I found Jaclynn, there are not enough adjectives to describe how fabulous this woman is.
She recommended the powder brows and spent just over 1.5 hours measuring, drawing, erasing, redrawing, getting my brows as perfect as possible before we even talked about colors. She had me look at them several times throughout the whole process, we discussed any concerns I had, she explained why she was shaping, placing them, etc... in particular spots. Turns out the old "tattoo" wasn't on or even near my natural brow line...seriously, wtf?!
It took me a few days to get accustomed to their placement but she was right, they're perfect. My touchup appointment is later this month but if the world ends tomorrow I will die with better looking brows than you, lol. I really cannot explain how much Jaclynn has improved my life. Not only do I get to sleep 30 minutes longer in the am, I don't have to worry about sweating them off at the gym or rubbing them off while shopping for clothes or looking like an alien every morning, years ago I over plucked damaging the follicles so I'm very brow bald.
This is not a cheap procedure but I would gladly paid double knowing now what my end result would be. My only regret is not finding her sooner. As for the pain, she numbs you up a couple times, I even fell asleep for a little bit, lol.
My backstory, I was the victim of a horrible, seriously horrible, permanent eyebrow experience about 4 years ago. I know brows are sisters not twins but let me tell you these girls were not even related. I tried to chalk it up to "brow shock" because it's written about a lot in so many articles. But nope, this was pure incompetence. I spent the next few weeks crying while scrubbing, rubbing and picking at them in hopes of removing the the color.
In the mean time I found a very nice woman who tried and tried to get my brows to an acceptable state with microblading. It wasn't fantastic, it was definitely better but didn't last very long so I gave up and have been drawing them on ever since. I'm no artist, I can't even draw stick figures so you can guess how my mornings have been. I hated my brows so much that I rarely looked at myself in the mirror. Washing my hands, nope didn't look, used a tiny mirror to put on lipstick. Sad, huh?
But not anymore, now when I look in the mirror I like my face. I might even be a little pretty ;o) read more
