Another invalid charge from Studio Bella to my bank account in the amount of $345.00. Noted by the BBB website as a billing violation. I do not understand why Cookie is not responding to this directly. Your response is false. Studio Bella definitely made unauthorized charges to my card for services that were not rendered (photos included). The amount of $747.50 is some random unauthorized amount. It does not even make sense according to your pricing. There was also an additional $345.00 charged by Studio Bella totaling $1,092.50. This is clearly wrong and it is not justifiable. The better business bureau investigated, found in my favor and it is noted on the BBB website. Cookie did make a pigmentation error. She acknowledged it when I saw her in person and told me not to worry and promised she would lighten it up and blend it in. The follow up appointments to correct it and complete the service were repeatedly pushed back. The first reason you gave me was that Cookie's brother passed away and we made an appointment for for a future date that would work for Cookie. You later contacted me to cancel that appointment telling me that she was going "back and forth to California". Again, we made an appointment for a time that would work for Cookie. Then you sent me a text stating that she thought I was a "lovely person", but she would not be able to complete the service. It was at this point, of course, that I asked for a refund for the services not rendered. The assistant/family member spoke to me with a raised voice and disrespect manner. It is unfortunate that Cookie did not respond to me directly and honestly. Instead you are trying to keep the invalid charges and potray me as the cause for the incomplete service. As a paying customer who loyally followed my esthetician Joan to Studio Bella Spa over a year ago, I'm shocked by the owner's disruption of my customer service and appointment time. As a businesswoman, my time is valuable and carefully scheduled. When the salon owner unexpectedly moved the treatment area to a small, cramped room with poor air circulation, without prior notice, my services were not only delayed, but postponed due to time constraints caused by the owner. Critical equipment used for services couldn't be located - resulting in stress for all involved. While both Joan and Roseline profusely apologized for both days of confusion & disruption, the owner has not apologized, nor made amends. I no longer recommend this location as a spa or salon. The service professionals are excellent, however the owner disrupts any potential spa or salon experience. read more

I had a mole that was blue. I needed it neutralized so it would be brown. That means orange needed to be added. I was told in advance that the artist would take time listening to me before the procedure. She was sweet, but assumed the color I needed as she said it was a great color for everyone. I insisted on seeing on my skin first before applying it and it was green. She was surprised and didn't want to take more time to see what color was right for me and applied a color that was equally as bad and did not correct or help the problem I came in for in the first place. I had a Groupon for teeth whitening and spray tan. I had not ever done either. Before i go into pros and cons, let me say I LOVE my teeth! the process was painless, if a little weird. In two 20 minute sessions I dropped 4 shades. Definitely recommend. Pro: Nice, helpful staff, easy to find, easy to park, teeth whitening process and results Con: The treatment rooms were messy (not dirty), with things stacked up and equipment poorly organized; the spray tan process was not clearly explained, two people were present and one was not introduced, I was tanned by someone clearly not experienced, no mirrors to see how it goes or results; sooo dark my boyfriend recoiled and I immediately hopped in shower (not sure if shade options available - will ask next time); Awkward (i was told paper bikinis were available but instead I was totally nude, no one seemed sure what groupon included (common problem for groupon). I found Studio Bella through google. I reviewed several YouTube videos and I found this one to be my favorite. The video is very detailed and Cookie, the artist is down to earth. At my age, I am not looking for a glamor magazine feature. I just wanted to improve on the existing features God has given me. I had my lip liner tattooed about 7mos before going to Cookie for a touch up....I had my lip liner done in Kerrville by a girl that had done a friend of mine....when I got home and all had healed, there were two small spots on my lower lip that didnt quiet take as dark as the other....instead of driving back to Kerrville, I was recommended to Cookie for a touch up....I went to Cookie and she said a touch up is $150, but she could do my entire liner over for $250...I didnt feel the entire lip needed to be done since it had only been 7 mos...Cookie said it was up to me, but she could make it look good either way....I did the touch up, just in those to small areas....I was disappointed, it didnt look any different than when I walked in...even tho my cost was for one trip, she was kind enough to try it one more time, after that visit it you could see a little something, not much and still was not as dark as the rest of my liner....she was going to try it again and I set a appt....she became ill and her assistant called to cancel my appt and would reschedule when Cookie was better...never heard back from them.... After spending $150, my lip liner had no change, still looked the same, I was disappointed because her words were "I can make it look good, either way" meaning touchup or full lip liner...just a waste of $150....if anyone out there can give me another referral, I would be willing to pay one more time for a touch up... Very disappointed.....Cookie was a very sweet lady and seemed to be very experienced and had alot of good stories to tell me where she fixed so many messed up jobs...she just didnt fix mine and I was out $150. read more
