My experience with him and Asia Pacific was a nightmare, and a significant portion of my result is so unacceptable that I require a costly and risky revision surgery. I feel botched and mutilated. I avoid mirrors and public settings because of the effect this has on my appearance. I am deeply ashamed that I trusted this person and allowed them to do this to my body. On the day of surgery, the anesthesiologist was unaware of important medical history that I had provided to Dr. Ching's staff weeks earlier. Asia Pacific had expressly assured me that my medical history and concerns were being taken seriously. Yet, as I sat prepped and awaiting surgery, it became abundantly clear that this information had not been shared with the anesthesiologist. I then waited in the intake room for more than two hours while the anesthesiologist requested the information I had provided and reviewed it to assess surgical risk. Despite the practice's error, I had no financially viable option to cancel on the spot. Withdrawing that morning would have meant forfeiting over $40,000. I was therefore placed in the untenable position of either proceeding with surgery despite serious concerns about the handling of my medical records or losing the entire amount I had paid because of an error that was not mine. No respectable medical practice would place a patient in that position. This failure, compounded by serious deficiencies in postoperative care and communication, destroyed my trust in both Dr. Ching and his staff. Their conduct changed markedly after the practice collected my full surgical fees -- they repeatedly revealed serious deficiencies in professionalism, communication, and basic administrative competence. I recently requested a partial refund to help defray the cost of revision surgery with a different surgeon. Asia Pacific denied that request outright, without dialogue with me or any form of good-faith effort to address why I don't feel safe with Dr. Ching. Offering to revise his own work is not a reasonable solution when repeated lapses in professionalism, communication, and patient care have left me with no confidence in his judgment or ability. I strongly urge prospective patients to conduct thorough due diligence before entrusting Dr. Ching with their body, safety, and money. Do not assume that "over a million followers" is actually real, or that an expensive office is evidence of surgical competence, patient safety, or accountability.

We drove out to do errands and waited for her, and now we had to drive back out again! Unbelievable. Another part I absolutely hate is that she fixed something that didn't look right to her and charged us an extra $10 for her extra work that we didn't even authorized or say we needed done. That ridiculous! This is just like car mechanics repairing things because they saw it needed replacing without even asking. God, I absolutely hate that. Some places want you to come in for a consult and they do not provide you pricing over the phone. I was very pleased that not only did Dr. Herbich's office provide me information and pricing over the phone they also provide a free consultation with Dr. Herbich! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! I was surprised to find out that the procedures that I wanted were very affordable and that Dr Herbich would be administering the injections! Affordable pricing and administered by a Plastic Surgeon!!! So of course my next question was "When is your next available appointment?" Lucky for me they were able to fit me in that same week! My appointment was yesterday and it went great! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful! When I got called back I met with Dr Herbich and we discussed my options for smoothing out my fine lines and wrinkles. He listened to what I wanted and he didn't try to oversell me, I really liked that about him!! He was easy to talk to and I felt like I was in good hands. Dr Herbich then applied a numbing cream to the areas that were going to be injected and I think that I waited for about 15 to 20 minutes for it to take effect. We then went into the procedure room. Dr Herbich injected some numbing medication in the area that I would be getting fillers injected. He then proceeded with the injections, a few manageable bee sting like injections and some barely noticeable injections and Tadah all done!! I have to go back in 2 weeks after the injections have settled in and Dr Herbich will check to see if we have obtained my desired results. I can already see a difference and I love it!! There's some bruising and swelling but that's normal and it will go away in a few days. Once I've obtained my desired results I will post before and after pictures! BONUS: I asked Dr Herbich if he offered a discount for checking in on Yelp, he said that he currently did not but that he would now offer 10% off services just for checking in on Yelp!!! Wow! The doctor saw me 35 minutes late (as in AFTER my appointment start time, and I even checked in early) so you probably already know where this review is going! The office is nice, comfortable and clean. It's in the basement of the Island Club Spa and Fitness. I did their "Forever Young" promo which is a scam. They charge you $150 for that promo and it comes with 10 units of Botox which is not enough to actually treat an area so you end up having to add more units at $14 each which quickly adds up. I got 18 units (9 for each eye) and you get a tiny bag of sample sized products and a $50 credit for a future visit. For context, the amount of botox they advised me to get was 70-80 units which is around $980-$1,120. I didn't want to do that the first time just in case I had a bad reaction. The $150 promo is really just a bait and switch. A few noteworthy things: The office offers you a $50 credit for posting a review. I wonder if this unfairly impacts their reviews because they have a lot of positive ones. I also wonder if my 1 star review will get me a credit (if I ever go back)? I'll update later with the answer. I paid $271 for Botox and it looks like it had zero affect. There's nothing different about my eye wrinkles. (I'm writing my review 3 weeks later so yes, it's had time to "kick in"). As I mentioned they are not good about honoring appointment time so don't schedule anything if you have a hard stop afterwards. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Buyer beware. They have a "no refunds" policy, so if they mess you up, you're not happy or it's a total disaster... you must still pay. You also pay for a no show or last minute cancellation which is understandable but they also take your credit card number before they even book you. So you're obligated to follow through! This might be a plus if you're like me and a bit scared. Parking is a bit of a hassle in the garage. I've never seen a stall open in the outside area and I used to go to that gym.
