The pedicure was actually great -- the guy who did it did an awesome job and I was really happy with that part of the service. Unfortunately, my experience with the rebase was very different. The tech didn't greet me or say much at all during the appointment. He filed my nails down way too much, leaving them extremely thin and uneven, and the acrylic powder he used was a completely different color than what I originally had from my previous stylist. When I asked for a simple blue French tip with a glitter border, he initially wasn't even going to put a base coat, which would have made the two different acrylic colors visible. When I asked about it, he seemed annoyed. He did one nail for the French tip and asked if it looked okay. I politely asked if the tip could be a little thicker, but he barely adjusted it and immediately motioned for me to put my hand in the curing light. At that point I didn't feel comfortable continuing to correct him because he seemed offended by feedback and wasn't really listening. I ended up leaving pretty unsatisfied. When I got home and looked at my nails more closely, I also noticed that a couple of them were extremely crooked and I actually had to fix them myself. My husband even wanted to go back so they could fix it, but honestly I was already frustrated and didn't want to sit there another two hours to have it redone. The pedicure was great, but unfortunately the rebase experience left me disappointed. I included what I asked for and what I walked out with.

The technician carefully cleaned and detailed my cuticles on both my hands and feet, and the level of attention to detail was exceptional. The salon is beautiful, clean, and very professional. They used specialized tools and techniques that made a noticeable difference in the quality of the service. Coming from Alamogordo, where nail services are often much more basic, I was incredibly impressed by the care and precision I received here. I only wish every manicure and pedicure I had was this thorough and relaxing. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely return whenever I'm in Albuquerque.

The salon is rather big and spaced out, which is nice. I've never had issues getting in, and I really appreciate that they always send you home with the nail file they used on you. Overall I am happy with the nails, however I prefer when nail techs aren't rushed or trying to take on more than they can handle. The interior isn't sparkling clean or something I would go on about.. If you're looking for a spa-like environment look elsewhere. No water is offered, you have to ask. Also they don't give wine here BUT, I believe that may be a Florida thing. I've not found a nail salon in ABQ that gives wine.
