Went in for a removal of acrylic nails & manicure, the guy was super heavy handed. He burnt me with one of the nail buffers. Cut me not once but three times! He didn't apologize for any of it. I have been getting my nails done for YEARS! I am pretty easy shape square with round corners and a thin overlay! I usually love showing off my nails and designs, but this go around, nails are way too thick, they filled them way too short and still didn't get the right shape, I didn't even bother with a design! The color is pretty too bad that's the only thing they got right!!! Oh wait I picked it and it comes from a bottle!!! The owner didn't listen to my complaints! This nail salon is kinda hard to find. It's in a strip mall on the far left side, all the way at the end. I had a great experience. No wait and my pedicure looks great. Fast and easy. The only thing I didn't like was, they told me a pedicure was $35.00 but they charged me $38.69. I think that might have been because I paid with a card instead of cash? They accept walk-ins though so you might have to wait if they're busy. read more

First off, they made us wait an hour and a half after our appointment. Then when they were ready to do my nails they charged me $5 extra for having to take off my other set. I got the classics pedicure with gel polish. The classic scrub was mediocre. The massage was non existent. The gel polish was sloppy and rushed. I had to point out missed areas on my big toe. She rushed through the whole pedicure in 15 minutes. She didn't even let the polish completely cure before moving to light to the next foot. While cutting my cuticles, she was looking at the door while she was cutting, I had to make sure she wasn't going to cut me. When I left, I had leftover polish around my pinky toes and big toes. When I mentioned how fast she was going, I was completely ignored. I am not one to write bad reviews, but this was disappointing. This was the worst nail experience I've had with acrylics in the last 10 years that I've gotten my nails done. First off, instead of soaking my previous acrylic nails...the man decided he wanted to pop every single one of my nails off with another acrylic which happened to be excruciatingly painful! Not only that, but they didn't have the two colors I asked for (brown with a clear base). He cut me with the nail file on 4 of my fingers and by the time I pulled away, he continued to do it. He burned my nail with the drill multiple times and never asked once if I was okay or tried to be gentle, even after I pulled away and said ouch on multiple occasions. I've been going to this place for a year. I've always gotten the same thing which is just a classic gel frenchtip to which they would charge me $48. Today I went and they charged me $52 when I've been getting the exact same thing, my friend got the same thing and they charged her $48. worst Mail experience ever I went in only 1 other person in the salon when I walked in I asked for mani and pedi the older lady started my feet then this other lady don't even know her name she is on station 1 came to do my mani first of all she grabs my hand like she's in a hurry 3 fingers in and she chops my cuticl it bled the whole time I was there and she continued to do my nails like she didn't just cut me deep.. just FYI the lady sitting in station 1 should not be doing nails if she's so much in a hurry I just hope I don't get an infection because I will be back to your salon read more

In town and needed a quick pedi. The pedi was ok. Pretty much what I expected for $20. The reason I am writing this review is not for my service. unfortunately, I witnessed a few things that made me cringe. A gentleman was in to have his brows done. She called him back but left the treatment room door open. She did not cleanse his skin first and went straight for the wax. She proceeded to reuse the SAME wax stick for the entire service and dipped it back into the wax pot 4-5 times!!!! As a licensed esthetician I am well aware of waxing protocol and by no means is that sanitary or acceptable! read more

I went in today for a gel manicure and pedicure color change. The sign said 6 dollars for a polish change , so I figured the gel change would cost double like everywhere else I've been for this. They were friendly and did a terrific job. However when I went to pay, it was 25 dollars for the hand color change and 20 for the foot color change? When asked why so much, they said because they had to remove the previous color. Isn't that what a color change is? I normally pay about that amount for the whole acrylic and gel. Way too much! I called around the area and found some places that cost 15 dollars for both. Do you homework before choosing a salon. read more

The worst place I've ever been to. I went in to get a pedicure. The lady doing it must have been in such a hurry she cut my foot!! Then put alcohol on it. In my agonizing pain she still continued with the pedicure. I was bleeding a lot. I moved on to get my manicure while my feet dried and I was bleeding on their carpet. The lady did not bother to ask me if I wanted a band aide! I had to ask her. After nearly losing half of the blood in my body I finally got a band aide. Left with a bloody foot and not so great pedi/mani. And no discount... Do not go here. read more

Tu is the only person there who knows how to do nail design or nail art and you have to book an apt for her. She does a descent job; however, beware she will book apt back to back and keep you waiting for 30 mnt or so when you made apt. She has no concept or consideration of your time. I informed her about my apt the last time I went and she didn't seem to care and said to wait until she was done w her client. Two times she made me wait so third time told her she was rude to always make we wait and she had no concept of time or consideration I made it to the apt on time. Explained frustrations and I was not coming back to cancel my apt, just said ok and continued what she was doing, no eye contact nothing, completely cold and disloyal to loyal customers. I agree with others the customer service is horrible and I feel they talk about you in their language if they don't like you and she cuts your cuticles so hard she makes you bleed. The person that complained about almost bleeding out all over the carpet has got the wrong place. I have been to Miami Nails On Rio Bravo several times, there is not one bit of carpet in their facility . Everyone there is extremely friendly and outgoing, and they do a good job to boot. I doubt they were ever inconsiderate about someone almost bleeding to death (lost 1/2 their blood) I have nothing but good things to say about Miami Nails. In fact, I am going there today. read more
