I got a pedicure and the next day, the polish had completely come off half of two of my toes. I went back in to have her reapply and she told me I must have oily nails... also said I should get gel next time. Well next day, guess what? Polish completely came off another two toes!! The whole time I was there having her redo them, she was talking in Vietnamese to the owner, very dramatically. I won't be back. read more

I really like this place because the staff is friendly, they are very reasonably priced, and professional. I have a couple of complaints: 1. When my nail polish was scuffed because they rushed me to pay they said "that's why you should have done gel." (Gel cost extra) 2. They rush you to pay once they've finished which is annoying because half the time my nails aren't dry enough. I do however really enjoy going here but i wish that they would keep in mind that people expect you to do a great job because that is what they are paying for. read more

I've been to many different nail salons for years and when my sister told me to go to this salon I was skeptical to change to a new salon but I decided to try them because my sister always has the coolest nails. I went here for the first time about 5 months ago and I will never go anywhere else. Not only are their prices reasonable but they do the best job out of any salon I've been to here in Albuquerque. They do the shape and thickness perfectly for me. They are also friendly, nice, and funny!! I won't go anywhere else. I come here every two weeks or so. They have so many polishes to choose from. I have experienced each of the employees and all of them do an amazing job. I recommend calling 15 minutes before to see if they're busy. Theyll get your stuff set up ready for when you arrive. Much cleaner than I remember. This is a small family owned nail salon - all hands on deck. They have a lot of polishes and gels. I usually just bring my own. They have a few pedicure options which are neatly lined for sanitary reasons. That was appreciated. Ken did my nails just like I asked, so I am feeling fabulous. read more

The reviews had me believing I would've really liked this place, unfortunately that was not the case at all. The minute I walked in a customer was already complaining about burning and being uncomfortable with whatever they were doing to her feet, and I should've just walked on out. They manhandled my fingers, messed up the polish and tried to blame it on me, made fun of designs I wanted, couldn't even clean up under the nails, I have spots of my polish missing because she didn't wanna coat it once more, and my nails have this weird texture so they don't even feel smooth. The pricing is outrageous. All I had got was a full set with French tips and ended up paying a hefty amount. I've had cosmetology students do better and with much more attention to detail. read more

I went back today to get my hands done and Dana was the one who did my nails and I love them! I used to go here regularly when Jenny was working here. On my last visit, 4/11/2013, the place looks totally different. There's only 3 nail stations, but the spa chairs are still there. The place just looked completely barren. The TV wasn't on nor was there any music. ((crickets)) I went for a pedicure, which wasn't BAD, but wasn't really great either. When I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manner, but once the person who greeted me told the pedi tech to do my pedi, she seemed like I was putting her out of her way and told the other tech something in Vietnamese that seemed negative. wth? At that point, I should've just left. But I stayed anyway. She was polite to me after that. But her technique wasn't the best, her massage actually kind of hurt. I will not be back. I had received a full set along with a pedicure and while getting my finger nails shaped and clipped my fingers or gesture would shift and the man doing my nails would grab my wrist forcefully in frustration with even the slightest bit of movement. With my 125lb self this was a very hurtful and unpleasant experience. In the end my nails came out decent however the chances of coming back are slim to none. Would not recommend unless you're in a rush - they weren't very busy. read more

Disappointed . Greeter/Owner (?) was rude. When I walked in, nobody acknowledged my existence. It was a couple of minutes before I was gruffly asked what I wanted. I needed a full face wax. I was told to go to the room. It was my first time there, so I was unsure of the "room" and where to sit. Eventually somebody came in to help me The wax was TOO HOT!!! I told the woman but she mumbled something behind her mask and continued on with the hot wax. I've never had such an incredibly painful waxing experience In addition, small pieces of wax were left on my face and my poor skin was crazy red; so much so that even the cashier commented on it. Prices reasonable but I have definitely had better quality work and kinder service at other places . read more

I love coming to Rose Nails to get my nails done! The two sisters who work here are super friendly and always very nice to their clients. They always have a tv going, so there is always something to watch while you wait or are getting your nails done. The pedicure stations are super nice and comfy, and I have only ever gotten the best service from these amazing women. They also have a wonderful gel nail color selection, and my manicures always last for three weeks! Couldn't recommend this place more. Love it! read more

I called and got an app't for 2:30 to remove the gel polish and get a regular manicure. Took an hour and 20 minutes for this. After putting the foil on she started working on some one else. A half an hour goes by, I complained. Some one else works on me. Horrible job, too thick. I said take it all off and just apply one coat of clear. Never coming here again.
