i've been going here on and off for about 2 years. its always a hit or miss. yesterday was the first time i was genuinely disappointed with the quality and experience. pedicure was great until it was time to get my nails done. sat at one table and was refused to have my nails a certain way then i was sat at the salons manager desk. i was waiting for at least 20 minutes before she came in to do my nails. you'd expect a great outcome knowing she started this business but my nails are terrible. she's rough and is very much busy talking to people rather than just finishing up. my natural nails are filed so thin and messed up, my fingers are extremely sore. my mother's experience was similar, but one hand is done completely different than the other. and prices are too damn high. [UPDATE] i looked at my toes and the paint is already pealing off.. it's been 3 days. $300 for what. i regret everything that led to the moment of me going to demi's salon. now i'm broke with messed up nails. read more

I got a perfect full new set by Emily. Holly did my daughter's manicure and pedicure. Both did so amazing. I love coming here because this place is always so clean and taken really good care of. Charlie and Demi are the perfect owners. They turned this place into a paradise. Honestly! It's a one stop shop here. I've never had a complain about this place before but when I went back this one time because my nails were uneven and bumpy as well as the ombré was done quickly and sloppy. The manager, Demi, started arguing with me trying to tell me there was nothing wrong w/ nails when you can clearly see how badly they were done. When I agree for her to fix my nails she started arguing with me AGAIN about the color when they charge me +$15 for ombré plus another $15 for the shine however she only allowed me to picked gel. I have been a faithful patron of Demi's since 2012, when they were a small nail salon that cared about their customers and their employees. When they moved to the Coors Bypass location I traveled out of my way to still give them my business. In the past few years they've really gone down hill. I feel like they got too big and too money hungry. Charlie and Demi are nice people but they've lost touch of what it's like to be a business owner that truly cares. I cannot tell you how many time s I've had a scheduled appointment for either a pedicure and/or a manicure and 30-45 minutes later I'm still waiting. And the receptionists keep telling you that you will be seen soon. Or when you get a pedicure they sit you down with your feet in the water for way too long when they know they don't have a nail tech to help you. It's like you're trapped!! Their nail techs try to upsell you on everything and when you ask how much an "upgrade " is, they're vague or when you check out you find it's more than quoted. I finally learned that I have to be very specific about who I want to do my nails. I make the appointment with that tech. And even then, the tech is running extremely late or not available at all. And then they want you to see an inexperienced tech that can't provide the service that you want or does a poor job. Speaking of nail techs, one of the girls that did my nails on a regular basis for about 2 years, left. I actually happened to have her personal cell phone number and got in touch with her. She was brutally honest about how they pressure employees to upsell and work as quickly as possible and use as little product as possible to increase their profits. She also said she was not happy with the whole employee dynamic. She said it was very "cliquey". So, I am officially over Demi's Nail Salon. Careful! I had an employee verbally attack me! I went in for a soak off after a horrible job on a new set of nails. Owner offered a soak off and refund. And tech came out to the front waiting area screaming at me bc I didn't like her work she did. She proceeded to wad up my tip I gave her the night before and THREW it in my face! Owner couldn't control her employee! Tech yelled at me loud and attacked my character! And proceeded to lie about me about having run ins with other techs! This is So Not True! Tech stated Do Not Return! I was embarrassed and belittled and horrified at her actions! So note to one; don't complain if you're not happy! Or you will be attacked! This owner has a Responsibility to provide a Safe and Comfortable Environment for customers! She (DEMI) failed by allowing her employee to Attack a Customer! I went in trying to get my nail shape corrected. They said they could do it. I corrected her multiple times during the appointment that it wasn't fixed but she kept saying she was working on it. They never fixed it and I am very disappointed in the outcome. read more

Horrible experience here. I had a 4pm appt to get my nails done, they had me wait 30 min before they even saw me. Showed them the design I wanted which wasn't anything difficult, my technician couldn't do it so they said to wait in the lobby for someone else to help me. They had me wait for an hour before giving me any type of update. Only reason they did is because I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be and they said they didn't know I was waiting. At that point I had waited for almost two hours and was very unhappy and irritated. Demi ended up doing my design which wasn't exactly what I showed her and I got charged almost $90 for it when my entire experience was horrible. My original technician wanted to make it right and was going to have me come in to change the color to at least something solid, but upon returning, they basically refused me service when I said I was here to see her to simply change my polish color. So I have nails I hate and they refused to change the polish mind you, original technician said it was fine and I drove down here for this. I know that I have a RBF but get to know me first before assuming that I'm a mean person. I started going to Demi's 3 months ago. It started off ok, nothing amazing but it was convenient. I went in for a re base, my first re base after a new set. I had had a total of 5 nails just break off , this was within a week of getting them done. Mind you I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager, I'm 41 now and I have never had so many nails break off so easily!!!! Today I looked and two more have cracks on them! I was seen by Kathy for a gel manicure. My design was simple and I even showed/asked if she could do it. She shook her head yes and went about doing my manicure. The finished result was sloppy and unacceptable. I let the owner know when he asked how the service was at checkout. He looked at my nails and apologized stating it was "unacceptable" . He offered to have me come back in later in the day to have it fixed by someone else. I took him up on his offer and came back. The woman who fixed my manicure was rough, rude and asked where I had gone before for manicures and stated I should just go back there. I will not be going back and advise anyone else to not go. I really like the quality of the nail product and my nail artist does a good job. I'm not thrilled with the price.... I pay for a salon experience and have never felt pampered. My appointments ALWAYS start 10 to 15 minutes late, my nail artist talks to the person next to her non-stop and I'm rushed away. I've been a dedicated customer for 4 months. It's not lost on me that these ladies are hustling. I just don't love it. It's not relaxing and I can barely count it as self care. I'll be looking for another salon. We made a reservation in advanced for 5 pedicures for my moms birthday, several days in advance. We showed up and waiting 45 minutes to be sat. When we were sat, the water was cold, and not comfortable- my grandmother said it was so cold that it made her body temp uncomfortably cold. After 20 minutes of waiting for someone to check on us, I had to get out of my chair and walk over to the front to ask someone for help. Over an hour into waiting, they finally started on me but everyone else was soaking in cold water for the second time. What's the point of making a reservation if they don't honor it? They should be prepared for us to show up. What the point of going for a birthday if they don't even sit us together? They sat 4 of us down while 1 waited for over an hour and a half in the waiting room alone. My pedicure was rushed and not enjoyable at all. She finished a "deluxe" pedicure in less than 10 minutes. What an absolute joke. I also finished and had to wait over an hour for everyone else to finish. In addition to this, there were people who showed up AFTER us that were started before us. I have been used their services for over 1 year now. When it comes to mani/pedi, I want perfection, fun experience, good products, reliable tech, sanitary environment and.... relaxing environment. Well, I get all this and then some. Starting at front desk, everybody is helpful and polite, always smiling. What's better than being greeted by name as I walk in? My tech, Mimi is simply amazing. Always gives me a perfect and pampering experience, helps me pick colors and designs. Normally, I make appointment within 1 hour to 1 day range. I have been coming to Demis for years. My last two visits haven't been good. They use a drimel to take off the polish clean out the cuticles and shape the nail. This has caused my nail bed sone damage. I see a dermatologist and I asked her about it. Her advice was to not use drimel. the first picture I will post shows how my nail broke getting into my vehicle even with gel polish from the drimel. the nail is drilled too thin. So this time I scheduled an appointment at 530 to have my gel polish soaked off. I arrived at 520 and as usual had to park a distance and walk into shop because the employees 20+ of them park at shop. I have a handicap sticker but an orange sports car was illegally parked making the handicap parking inaccessible. My manicurist was running late with a client so my appointment didn't start until 605. When she grabbed Drimel I said no I scheduled a soak off gel manicur. She replied that will take all night. so she placed acetone and wrapped my nails left Came back berated me told me she would do my manicure tonight but not to schedule with her again. I used file and tool and removed my own polish. I took the second pictures while still sitting in their parking lot. I received a horrible manicure. you can see the cuticles that remain, the nail polish not evenly on the nail. Sad this establishment has become a drive through service! read more

I arrived on time for my 11:45am appointment and I waited 25 mins for them to call me back as they were calling walk-ins ahead of me until I asked why. The front desk staff were rude. My pedicure was extremely rushed and my manicure with Kim (who I'm a regular with) was in a hurry and had her tools set too high. She went on my skin and burned it! She was bothered after this and quickly finished my polish. No bye, thank you, nothing. She just called for her next client. I spoke with the manager Charlie and told him about my experience. His response was "maybe don't come on a Saturday as we're busy." Really?!? That's how you treat your regular customers.?! It's a lovely place and the service was very good. I dropped in to get a mani pedi when I found I had extra time. I waited no more than 5 minutes and I was taken care of. My only complaint is it seems I always get a negative reaction when I say I don't want gels. I realize they make more money with gels but my nails were damaged by gel applications and I don't want to go that route again. I think they need to understand that gels don't work for everyone. read more
