So I would've gave a 1.0 for the way we were treated but we've there before and usually very good. It's a small locally owned establishment but lately they've been off. This is the second time we make an appt than they say come back in an hour, and they'll get us than. Why make an appt, we're structured when it comes to time management and my time like theirs is important. This place is great, unfortunately I don't think they're very experienced with powder dip nails. The technician had me putting my hands under uv lights, which definitely isn't part of the process, and she didn't have me wash before the final coat, which means I had a ton of congealed powder under my nails that I had to scrape out later. She also did 2 complete dips, rather than a three-quarters dip, followed by a complete dip. This means my nails are thicker and look a lot less natural, exactly like acrylic nails. The final product came out nice enough, she was very gentle and concerned about my comfort. She also took her time with shaping so I imagine a normal mani here is very pleasant. I'm not unhappy with the end result (I wish they looked more natural but oh well) but I think if you're going to charge full price for a service it should be done by someone who has experience. People have to learn and that's totally ok, but I think it's appropriate to offer a discount if a newbie is practicing on you. read more

I made a reservation here for myself and my bridesmaids a month ahead of time to get our nails done for my wedding. When we showed up I was told I had the wrong date and to come back in an hour. We came back an hour later and received terrible service. Some of the employees congratulated me on my upcoming wedding, but they assigned me a girl who had only started doing nails a few months before. When I had made the reservation I had requested a specific person, but they, apparently, disregarded that request. It took her three hours to do my nails and they looked terrible. They were crooked and thick. She barely filed the tips that she put on so they were still square. They charged me $70 for the whole thing and I wanted them to just take the nails and polish off! The girl who did my nails was so nice and I didn't want to get her in trouble so I just paid and left. It was not her fault. The management should not have assigned her to someone who was about to have their wedding. One of my bridesmaids left the salon in tears because her nails looked so bad. This is my 2nd time at this nail salon. The first time I had a good job nothing outstanding but nothing bad just regular. This second time I had Quinn and she is excellent! She's very meticulous and makes you even check after she shapes them to make sure you like the shape! No one really ever does that! I thought it was great customer interaction! I also wanted a specific color and she mixed two polishes to come as close as she could to it. I was very happy. He was very kind and followed the nail design that I brought in as reference. His station was very clean as were his tools and equipment. I have given this place multiple chances and this is the last time I will be going to this place. My nails were not painted to the entire nail bed and they were not shaped the whole way. I have thick natural nails, I asked for round and short and almost all the corners of my nails aren't rounded off. Nail polish on my nails never chip, I'm not usually hard on my nails It's been just over a week and my nail polish is already chipping. Nail polish on my nails usually lasts 3-4 weeks. I should say I am pretty particular about my nails and so I mean it when I say she is the best around. I came here for the first time in October when I was here to visit hubby's family. I'm new in town and looked for a place nearby with good reviews. I walked in for a pedicure, and they helped me right away. I only wanted french tips, it took a while because the lady that helped me seemed new. She was pretty quiet, which I appreciated, and took her time to get things right which I'm glad she did bc I'm a perfectionist. The salon is small compared to others I've been to, but comfortable. The chairs are massage chairs, a movie was playing on the tv, the place was clean and everybody very friendly. I came to Albuquerque for a short trip and wanted to get my nails done. My sister in law has a regular nail place she goes to but it was closed. The salon itself was clean and the workers were very nice. Unfortunately, the person that did my nails did not do a good job. There is nail polish all over my fingers and she clipped more of my skin than it should have with the cuticle clipper. I wanted to get a pedicure but didn't go through with it. I made an appt on 4/2/2021 for a mani/pedi and was seen right away, but was asked multiple times what I was there for before and during the service. I had multiple people switch out and work on my nails so I had to repeat myself constantly. The pedi bath water was scalding hot, the woman scrubbing my feet was frustrated that I was ticklish even though I told her beforehand, and the gel nails I got were a mess. I had multiple people tell me I couldn't get the colors I wanted because they wouldn't look good, and had two separate people do my hands, so my hands look different from each other. The uv light was so hot I couldn't keep my hands under them, and the gel ended up bubbling out and setting in weird shapes. I should also mention that only about half the people in the salon were wearing masks. I was disappointed overall with the service especially for the higher price I was charged. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

Out of all of the places I've gone to get my nails done, this is the best. The pedicure was fantastic, and they removed the polish (I didn't want a change) from my fingers without question. Everyone was so friendly. The lady who did my pedicure was not super chatty, gentle, kind, and professional. I loved her! All around she did a great job. I saw everyone working together (five on a Thursday evening after work.) Tubs being cleaned out, professional services, these ladies know what they're doing. This was my first visit to this salon, and I was very impressed. I got a pedicure, lip and eyebrow wax. The total was $34, which I think is fair. They were busy and short handed, so there was a wait. However, they let me wait soaking in the massage chair, I had my Starbucks and a book, and I was quite content. The pedicure was awesome, and she didn't seem rushed or in a hurry. She took time to work on ingrown nails without any pain (what can I say, I wear boots to work everyday!). It's rare to find someone that takes such care. The foot massage was above average, And included hot towel and hot stone. Another lady painted my toes, and she also did my waxing. The waxing was very nice, they actually used a layer of talc to keep irritation down, carefully trimmed the brows as well. Wax was removed with a pleasant cleaner (not harsh, and not the thick oil wipe that many use). I didn't feel greasy afterwards and wasn't noticeably red. All the prices seem fair, if not 1-2 bucks cheaper than competitors in the area. Cleanliness seemed average to competitors (no "sterile" pouches but in all reality those machines just make you feel better about it than actually clean anything). Nothing seemed overtly dirty or broken. There was TV playing (cooking channel, dinners, drive ins, and dives). There was actually sound, which was nice. Also, did I mention NO UPSALE. Not even one. No flower offer, no pushy "you want a mani too right? Why not? You sure?" Just a simple, "is there anything else you want?" Massage chairs were comfortable and functional. This will be my go to salon from now on. read more
