My feet were soaked for 20 minutes and my daughter had to wait for 20 minutes and the owner Linda chopped her nails off without asking what she wanted done. then she had my daughter soak them in acetone for another 20 minutes. I had my nails and pedicure done by Andrew yesterday. And I honestly never had a nail tech like him before. He took his time and made sure I liked the shape and if everything he did was up to my standards- which is SUPER important to me because I am VERY picky! He did the shape I've been wanting and asking other nail techs to do- and they could never do it- which was a stiletto & almond mixed shape. He a paid so much attention to detail, did extra work for my cuticles, and made sure everything was fixed if there was a little scratch or anything that didn't make it perfect. Walked in and was helped right away came in for a pedi and paid $45. She did a half fast job had me in and out in 30 minutes. The gel paint looked fine. When I got home I noticed she didn't evenly apply the coats of gel to my toes. Areas are not covered on areas of my toes. Hmmm where to start? I am not happy with my pedicure. My nails are hacked off at strange angles and not filed properly so they're all jagged and rough. My nail polish is kind of not *just* on my nails...someone didn't learn how to stay inside the lines. This place may actually be more of a 2 star joint, but since I've only been once I don't want to be too quick to condemn. It was quite expensive for the "deluxe pedicure" which was a normal pedicure plus paraffin (which I hate--it always burns my feet). It was $30 + tax. I also don't like when someone comes up to me and asks if I want my eyebrows waxed while I'm trying to relax because then the rest of the time I'm thinking, "wait, what's wrong with my eyebrows?! Are they Bush league or what?!" They also asked me about 12 times if I wanted a manicure. I'm giving 3 stars because they were fairly nice people and asked to ogle at photos of my baby...brownie points, people. I will say though, that I'm super hesitant to return. read more

My daughter and I booked an appointment for services. In spite of this we waited for our manicure and pedicure. The nail technician did a poor job! At least four of my daughters nails were smudged while being painted. The nail tech talked on the phone while painting her nails. During the eyebrow wax, she put HOT wax on her eyebrows and it dripped onto her face. The wax burned her. The final straw came at payment. A $6.00 tax was added to the credit card payment. I was told their would be no tax if we paid cash?!!! Sounds like tax evasion to me. Find somewhere else in Albuquerque. The sub par services were expensive and amazingly disappointing. read more

The lady Linda who did my "fill" was in a hurry, kept hurting the outside of my right my thumb. She said my original full set wasn't done right so she wanted to give me a new full set... I recently moved into the area and needed to find a nail salon. I always check Yelp first and read the reviews, so I will make all efforts to describe this location diplomatically. In my experience, the staff has always been warm and inviting. They are very respectable and seem to make more efforts for their customers than some other nail salons in the area. For instance, if there is a wait they try to be diligent with the estimated wait time. The quality of their nail work has been great. I have always walked out of here satisfied. I explain what I like and don't like and the staff has always been very respectful of my decisions. I will say that when I got my eyebrows waxed it was a bit sloppy. However, she did ask me how they looked and I was honest with her and asked her to clean them up a bit more. Overall, the location is great for me because this is down the street from my house. The price is competitive with other nail salons in the area and the polish selection is better than other locations in the area. Also, I have never waited more than 5 minutes for services and this is huge for me. The only reason why I gave this location 4 stars versus 5 is that I haven't been "wowed". It's an above average nail salon that meets my needs. It's not an upscale location, but pretty standard. So, if anyone is looking for a quick touch up then I recommend this salon, but if you're looking to get spa pampered with tranquility fountains then this isn't the place. read more

Not my greatest experience. seemed the old woman doing my pedicure was rushing when it came down to paint my nails. I wanted glitter that I chose and she didnt want to put it on? she said that my nails were fine the way they were with just the paint. Then I waited to get my nails done after.. The girl was rough and she filed, burned with file and cut my nails down so much that they were all so tender and hurt. plus she didnt shape my nails so are flat. about $70 some dollars later I still gave a $10 tip and she didn't even say thank you or anything. Side not* I was there for two and half hours and didn't see much cleaning of the tools.. i saw wipe down of the chair for pedicures and that was it. Their service is consistent no matter which nail technician I get. They give the best pedicures I have ever received. They give a nice, long calf and foot massage and their deluxe pedicure is well worth the extra $10. You won't be disappointed. The First Lady that did my pedicure didn't get anything off the bottom of my feet and I have a huge bump of polish on my big toe. The older lady that did my manicure and kept yelling at me. I had the unfortunate pleasure of getting stuck with her twice now, and the service was consistently awful. The job was rushed, both times, and as a result would often nick my cuticles and leave me bleeding. The polish used was almost out and hardly showed up. When I asked for a third coat she again acted inconvenienced and then ended up charging me extra, which is fine. I didn't leave a tip, nor will I ever return.
