I lost most of my eyebrows to over plucking in the 90s and then I got breast cancer and went through chemo. My eyebrows have been so patchy since chemo, and when I try to do them myself everyday, they end up crooked. I never thought I would have eyebrows like these! I first went to Dao Brows in September 2025 where I had a consultation with Jessie. After 4 visits with Jessie that spanned over 13 months, my eyebrows are shaped great but Jessie was hesitant to add the dark brown color I kept requesting. Jessie ended up moving out of state last October 2025. On February 1,2026 I attempted to book a touch up appointment with Dao as Jessie stated during our final appointment in September 2025 that I could schedule my next appointment with Dao. Per the online booking notes it says that we need to wait for the first of every month at 10:00AM MST to see Davos upcoming availability for appointments. 10AM came and after repeated attempts, the calendar would not appear with available dates. I sent an email requesting to see if it would be possible to book with Dao after explaining everything and was told that since Dao did not provide the services that I would not be able to book with her as represented on her website. The email response was not from Dao but they said Dao was aware of this issue & that she was unaware of what Jessie told me. I would not have bothered trying to schedule an appointment with Dao if Jessie had not specifically told me Dao would allow me to since Jessie was moving out of state. Since Jessie's rates were the same as Daos and Jessie is no longer with Daos Brows, I am at a loss. That I would need to book with one of the other junior staff. After spending over $1200.00 at this business in the span of 13 months I would have expected better customer service. I will ensure my friends, coworkers and family go somewhere else for these types of services since it's apparent they don't treat customers with respect and want to pick and choose when to follow what is listed on their website. I don't understand how they claim I need to follow their website rules yet the calendar to schedule a time wasn't opened up at 10AM as listed online and their former employee told me Dao would allow me to book with her going forward. Evidently that was a lie and after wasting a year, I will find another location to give me the dark brown color brows I requested to begin with. read more

Came for my 16 month follow up. First, make sure you write down your date or call to figure out when you're one year is. It's extra post 12 months. I did not mind but I mistakenly thought it had been a year when it had been longer. The follow up was easy. It took a few hours but I'm happy with the results. I had my appointment with Dao and it was my first time getting a tattoo, let alone my first time getting my brows microshaded. So I was a little nervous but Dao made me feel so comfortable! Dao got started right away when I arrived to the appointment. First she measured and mapped out my brows; then she filled them in with a brow pencil. I got to see the color and shape of my brows before Dao tattooed them. This step of the appointment was the longest yet the most crucial. I trusted Dao's professional judgement, opinions, and attention to details, so I was happy with the outline! However I also recommend being honest during this step and telling Dao if you want her to make any adjustments to your brows. After all, your brows will be semi permanent. Dao is THE SWEETEST! She won't get offended and will 100% work with you. After shaping and mapping the brows, Dao started microshading my brows. I forgot to mention she also applied numbing cream to my brows. So the pain was nonexistent, which was awesome for me!! I didn't feel a thing. The appointment took about 2hrs. Additional information, I have normal to dry skin. I got my brows microshaded, which means it's a combination of micro blading and shading. She shaded about 2/3 of my brows and microbladed some hair strokes in the front of my brows. Dao explained the after care process after the appointment and gave me a little care kit with a shower shield for my brows. The healing process took about a week. During the cracking stage, my brows were so itchy. Dao recommended tapping on them, which did helped a lot and alleviate the itchiness!! I had my brows touched up with Dao about a couple months later. Overall, if you're thinking of getting your brows microbladed, especially at DaoBrows... DO IT!!! I cannot express what a positive difference it has made for me. Dao is a perfectionist, highly experience, and more importantly, just talented at what she does! I'm extremely happy with my brows! Yes they offered for Lisa to fix them free of charge and I said can Dao please over see the appointment with Lisa to make sure that everything goes well and then Dao TOOK BACK her offer and firing me as a client. I was more than willing to have Lisa fix them I just wanted Dao to watch over as she is the owner. But obviously that's me being rude and hard to work with. ***Original review*** I have to say that I'm beyond upset with the way things were handled with Dao Brows and myself. I waited years and saved up a lot of money to go to this facility to have my brows done because the reviews were nothing short is spectacular. I paid $500 for my initial visit, then $100 for my 6 week touch up. For this price I believe it's more than fair to ask for perfection, that's that's not what I got. I expressed my concerns on my first visit to Lisa who did my brows that one side had more microblading than the other and that they were too thin for my liking and she said she would fix it next time at my touch up appointment. I was her last appointment of the day so I understood ok maybe she just doesn't want to stay longer I'll get it next time. Next time comes around I remind her what we talked about and she did make them a little thicker, added a bit more microblading, but now they're worse with bald spots included. She informed me that I would have to pay for another touch up to get them fixed to what I want them to be. I was so upset because I've paid over $700 already and they're not what I expected. I reached out to their office manager letting her know my concerns and if they could fix them. I asked if Dao could personally fix them because I wasn't comfortable with the service I had from Lisa. She rudely sent me a copy of their policies and said no. Ok... then she said Lisa could fix them free of charge. I said I wasn't confident that she would fix them could Dao at least watch over the appointment... what I got next was just shocking. Dao reached out and fired me as a client! All because I expressed concerns about what I got! She blamed me and my skin for the mistakes that Lisa did! They offered me a slight refund and basically said FU have a nice day. I cannot believe the lack of customer service! For being so highly rated I can't believe that they were so unwilling to help manage a situation that I wasn't happy with. The last thing I wanted to do was write a negative review to jeopardize their perfect reviews but there's no way I could let this go. If I could give 10 stars, I would! I got my brows done June of 2020 and although I was very nervous about the procedure, Dao was patient and explained everything before we began. I trusted that her years of experience working on different skin tones, textures, and ages made her an EXPERT when it came to suggesting the shape and procedure that looked the best for me. Although she is amazing at what she does, she is also always learning new methods and keeping up with trends to make sure she gives her clients the best experience! Her salon is always sanitized and you can 100% trust that she will keep you SAFE during the procedure. I was, like most, apprehensive about microblading my brows because I am so particular about the symmetry and shape but I really wanted to have a professional map them out and perfect them. I'd heard from multiple close friends that Dao Brows was the best in the city. I went to senior artist Lisa who was very professional and meticulous. She mapped them and I approved the design before she did the microblading. She recommended micro shading (combo of microblading with hair strokes + shading). Communication around what to expect with healing was very thorough. I got a fun take home pack with a shower visor and everything I needed to ensure a smooth healing process (plus a few extra fun goodies-a very sweet touch). The new studio is very clean and modern. Dao is amazing! There are other people who do brows and they look good, but when you see Dao's brows they are on a whole other level of amazing. She did my initial set in 2019 and not a day goes by that I regret going to see her. While we are on the subject of knowing her multiple years she makes connections with her clients and remembers you when you go back and see her for touch ups or new services. The process of getting the brows is mostly painless and the results amazing. Why go to anyone who will leave you with just good brows? Now on to the subject of permanent eyeliner.
