I needed some photos and a refreshing drink. Walgreens came to the rescue. The woman at the photo department was very friendly and helpful. I don't come often to Walgreens but I am glad to see they still have their doors open. At least this location still did anyways. I know some other ones are only offering curbside and drive thru pickup. So I am glad to see these guys still open to walk in. They are a bit pricey compared to going to Target or Walmart when it comes to certain items but it's the price you pay for convenience. Granted they have a great selection of cold drinks to buy and a large selection of over the counter drugs as well as cosmetic and candies along with many other novelties all in one roof. Again I don't come often but one thing I can say is they are very friendly at this location and the selection of products they offer is convenient for someone who is on the go and needs to be in and out. Sometimes they have great sales promotions and a rewards program for those interested in earning enough points to possibly cover their next visit. walgreens in albuquerque, nm suck the pharmacy is never open they never have workers to assist you they close for lunch after youve been standing in line for 20 minutes and don't care that you are waiting. my doctor called in my prescription, received texted stating my rx was ready for pickup, but when i went they told me the pharmacy was closed for the rest of the week. no pharmacist, so they said. it took me 4 days to get it and that made me 4 days late per my doctor. they totally suck! like reply read more

This Walgreens has gone downhill. Sadly, 65% of the items here are locked up behind glass, which I'm sure is due to theft. Although locked up, many of the items behind the glass are not high-quality. They look like they were tossed on the shelves and many items looks used or broken. Would avoid coming here! read more

On two recent visits to this Walgreens I had to avoid a pile of dried vomit, what appeared to be human excrement and a huge pile of bird excrement all within a short distance from my car to the store entrance. I thought perhaps it would have been cleaned up after the first visit since it was on the walkway near the entrance, but two weeks later, it was all still there. A weekly power-wash would do wonders. I've been to this Walgreens location at least 20 times in the last ten years and I just don't know what to tell you about it. Sometimes it's squeaky clean with the friendliest workers and sometimes you'll be inundated with homeless beggars outside the door (or even down the aisles) and items are never in their right place. The one time I asked for help from the pharmacist to make sure I was getting cold medicine that did not contain NSAIDS due to my allergy, I found out later that the one she gave me contained a strong amount of NSAIDS and put me in the hospital. However, the Presbyterian online visits won't send prescriptions to my usual pharmacy so we have them sent here for my husband to pick up since it is close to home. We just make sure my regular doctors check for any counter indicators since we know the pharmacist probably won't. read more

This Walgreens is horrible. I just spent 45 min on hold and getting hung up on. I am just trying to ask a simple question about a prescription. I finally got fed up and called the store extension. After being transferred to the pharmacy and being placed on hold again for 15 min I called back and asked Cindy to walk to the pharmacy to see wtf was up and she told me that she can't help me and there is nothing anyone can do to get them to answer. Shitty attitude and service. Don't bother calling. Oh and this is an hour before their scheduled lunch. Smfh read more

This pharmacy is awful. For the last three months I have put in my refill request for an inhaler more than a week before running out, and for the last three months I've had to go without that inhaler for at least a week while they "wait on a shipment from central pharmacy". I guess this place is fine if you don't mind planning a two week window for medication refills... Also, forget trying to call them to ask a question or confirm the status of a prescription. Would give it no stars but have to give it one. The worst place to get your medicine. The pharmacy is very slow. They never have anything ready. Fixing to change pharmacies and go back to CVS. I only went to this Walgreens because it was closer to my house. Do your self a favor and not go here. read more

The girl walking around the store on her phone at 3pm on 8/4 was absolutely useless. I stood at the photo counter for 15 minutes waiting for her to finish up her text messages. The store is great, however the pharmacy, not so much. I transferred all of my prescriptions this morning, after years of enduring inept pharmacy staff and horrible customer service. (Except Franklin, he is 100% awesome) If you are looking for a pharmacy that is jam packed with apathetic, eternally annoyed children, this is the one for you. Petulance abounds when you question anything. Giving someone the wrong prescription is a cardinal sin in my book, so I would suggest checking all of your pills against drugs.com. If you have elderly parents, I recommend doing the same for them. Don't expect any accountability or apologies for their mistakes, either. read more

Ran in for a few items. I was struggling to find some things, and Angie Dejourn, district manager, immediately saw that I was lost. She brought me a basket because I had gathered several items. She introduced herself along with store manager. They are working to decrease theft and get the store to be back to a friendly and safe environment. I was asked to leave and never come back under the grounds that I was "stealing". I was doing my normal couponing trip at my normal Walgreens. Obviously I'm getting a lot of items because i'm couponing. I always go aisle by aisle to check for clearance items. All of a sudden a manager comes up to me another employee by his side (it may have been 2 but I'm not sure) and says "Ma'am I'm gonna ask you to leave." And I was shocked. I said "Um for what reason?" And he said "I'm asking you to leave and never come back." Keep in mind I have a little pocket purse the size of my phone and I didn't steal anything. I continued to question him, "what is the premise of this accusation?" And he kept repeating the same thing, "You need to leave". I stormed out and called corporate, they said they'd contact me in 1-2 days. In the meantime I called the location and spoke with the gentleman who asked me to leave. He claimed that another employee witnessed me stealing. I said, "Do you have it documented on film that I was stealing?" And his response was "No I do not". Needless to say I feel offended, embarrassed, and humiliated. If you visit this location prepare to get mistakenly profiled and embarrassed, and then permanently banned from the store. read more

I can't remember what shops were there, but I think one was a popular California style surf and skate shop, which I always thought was weird cause there's obviously no surfing here... read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Things are easy to find in the store and the place is clean and orderly.

The Walgreens at Lomas & Carlisle in Albuquerque is wonderful! When I couldn't make the app on my phone work to get my scripts sent to me, they very kindly took my info over the phone and sent it right out. Some Walgreens won't do this for you. The store is always so clean and well organized, and they enforce the mask law. The people there are so nice. It is a joy to shop at that particular Walgreens. read more

One of the smaller Walgreens in the city (or at least it seems that way) but they always seem to have what I'm looking for. I particularly like the pharmacy here. The pharmacists and techs here are unfailingly polite, accurate, and communicate well in regard to outages, expirations, etc. Unlike other Walgreens I've used in the Burque, this one makes full use of the Walgreens electronic communications systems so I've never been left wondering when or if an Rx is going to be filled. The rest of the staff is also very polite and helpful, from cheerfully snapping passport photos to digging through coupons to find you a good deal at checkout. No liquor at this location but there's an outstanding liquor store right across Lomas. Parking is ample but sometimes dangerous as people cut through the lot at full speed to avoid the intersection. Has a Redbox outside and is neat and clean inside. read more
