Mostly, I LOVE Costco! They pay their employees well. Products that are available, I know are well researched by their buyers. I almost always ask my cashiers and loaders if they like working there and they always say yes. I love the corporation as a whole and what they stand for. However, I have had some mobility issues of late and have been there to pick up prescriptions when there were no carts available to lean on. I walked by the front managers that are over seeing check out and told them there were no carts available and by the time I walked back out, they had rounded up parking lot carts and were back in business. I appreciate that and know that it was a busy day, I just needed to lean to get to the pharmacy and couldn't. Also, the self check out is inconsistent with the other stores. My husband often visits the two other ABQ locations and does self check out there and he always gets frustrated with doing so at the Coors Bypass location because their rules are different. I will still give the majority of our grocery money to Costco and any and all other items I can get there, I do. The business model aligns with my personal beliefs (hiring practices and paying employees living wages, etc.) I frequent the deli, pharmacy, optical, pet, grocery, and other departments as much as I can. Employees are friendly and generally helpful. It's usually a very good experience. We even decorated our trunk as a Costco sample table for our church's Trunk of Treats at Halloween! I only mention these two small areas that might need a bit of attention because they matter and I know you want customers to have the best experience possible. Thank you for doing your thing, Costco! read more

This is a wonderful Costco! If you have never been to Costco before, you're in for a real treat! If you have a large family, own a business, or just have a need for items in bulk, this is the place for you. You can often times find items that are a great deal per unit by buying in bulk here. This Costco in particular is really nice. There were plenty of parking spaces open during a Saturday afternoon, something I wouldn't even imagine where I live in Denver, and they even had shaded parking spots. Woah! Everything was organized well and the selection here was awesome! I was expecting to not buy anything since we have a Costco in Denver as well but there were many items that I have never seen at another Costco like some dog sleeping pads, some selection of clothes, etc. I wish this was the Costco around where I live! read more

After purchasing new tires from them, we went back months later to have new air pressure sensors put in all the tire valves. Now almost a year later we had a tire not holding air and discovered a screw lodged in the tread. Went back to Costco where they repaired the tire and checked the other tires all at no charge! Mo is the best and we love Costco!! read more

If you've never been to a Costco before, you're in for a consumer's dream! This was my first visit to this Costco but I was very similar to the one I usually go to. This one had a much larger refrigerated section and, of course, lots of tables with free samples at the to of the isle. Plenty of parking and good choices ... there's always room for more. If you're looking for a deal on a large pack of anything, you need to check this place out. read more

Hooray, Costco has their standing rib, roast out bone in and bone out. They have prime and choice cuts. I picked a wow marbled prime without the rib bones. I prefer having bone in, but it was only choice cuts that had the rib bone. read more

This is regarding the Tire shop in Costco. Consumers, DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM COSTCO. I did and found out that two of the four are defective. I took my car back to them for a rotation and 'balance' and afterward, my steering wheel started shuddering at 60-65 mph. After some research (thank you AI), I went to a shop (Chet's) that has a road force tire balancer, which is MUCH more accurate than the cheap balancers used to all Costco tire centers. This test found defects in the two tires that could not be corrected with balancing. When I went back to Costco Tire at this location and explained what was going on, they claim their 'new policy' is that THEY have to verify that the tires cannot be balanced and are defective. The problem is that they use the cheap tire balancer. It's an absolute joke. So this indicates to me that tire companies are dumping their bad tires at Costco for resale, knowing that they are defective and Costco won't honor any warranties. Go elsewhere for your tires! read more

My wife and I have been Costco members for 20 years and always lived near one of their warehouses. Unfortunately now where we live in Las Cruces we do not have one. We often come to visit our son in Rio Rancho and on every trip, this Costco is always a must stop. We fill up the car with gas and do major shopping on our way back to Las Cruces. One of the major perks from Costco is able to return items without time frame, particularly since we do not live near one. The stores are always well kept including their restrooms. Their customer service is always excellent, much better than any other store. We also like that they support diversity. Hopefully one day we will have a Costco in Las Cruces! read more

Tire rotation and balance was extremely easy to get done while I shopped. In and out 1 hour. Tried to tip but they wouldn't take it. It's part of the membership when you buy tires from them! read more

Ok - it's Costco, home of the $1.50 hot dog & drink deal. Bulk sizing available and great product at reasonable pricing - usually. What drives me crazy is the consistent moving of product around. Smart marketing move because you get a chance to see things you might normally miss. Downside is a quick in and out is not always possible. They've made some changes that could result in shorter lines. Membership cards are now scanned before you can get inside the store. Plus they've expanded the number of gas pumps cutting down wait times there too. Gas prices are generally cheaper. On rare occasion they are a penny or two more. But using their branded card you save an additional 5%. What impresses me is the return policy - dissatisfied? Bring it back. The staff at this store has always been helpful and accommodating. There are still somethings that I won't buy there - but not many. read more

We went to pick up some things at Costco today, Black Friday. We were there at 4 PM and for a Black Friday, it didn't look like one. It wasn't that busy. I got gas in under 5 minutes; that's how slack it was at Costco today. I purchased a whole pepperoni pizza and had a terrible experience. It wasn't the busy. The lady working the oven did what she could, and the guy working the counter was calling out orders. The lady working the oven put several pizzas in boxes, and then put them into the shelves, where they stayed. Finally, after 15 minutes of waiting for the guy working the counter to actually look at the pizzas that had accumulated in the shelves, it became clear this guy was ever going to look at the boxes, expecting the pizzas to disappear or something. I went to the counter, looked the dude in the eye and gave the number of my order. He looked at me with shock, because my order was several earlier then ones he had been working on. (Clearly to this guy the only thing that matter was what was on the counter.) Bottom line, the people working at Costco's food court couldn't care less about the customers. I recommend that you give them a reasonable amount of time, then go the counter because they will NEVER look at the pile of boxed pizzas until Costco closes. read more

Went to Costco near cottonwood today. The store drastically going downhill. At least Twelve cashiers were closed and unavailable , and I wanted to pay cash. They need to reduce their membership fee if they are going to survive. Oh well..I still have a Sam's card read more

Costco is one of my favorite places to shop for my weekly and monthly groceries and household supplies. Always fun to look at and shop for great deals on plants,, appliances, bedding, blankets ! Really great business model. For the most part, excellent attitudes with employees with the occasional grumpy ones.

Completely ridiculously awful to the point where I had to laugh. We buy all our tires or at least we used to at this tire shop at Costco on Eagle Ranch. We pay for the road hazard warranty. I took my wife's car there with a roofing nail in the right rear driver side after I waited at the desk for a long amount of time, After the first guy told me he'd be right with me. LOL someone finally decided to shuffle on up to see me. I told him I had a nail in a tire that I needed pulled and plugged and he informed me that he could make me an appointment for next Tuesday. I laughed in his fucking face. I went to one of the locally owned tire shops on fourth Street where an extremely nice gentleman asked me what I needed I told him I needed a tire plugged. He did it inside of 10 minutes. Don't go to Costco. They suck. Use local shoppes they care about their business. read more

Rude employees especially the lady at the door checking receipts. This was on a Monday morning around 9:30. I handed her my receipt willingly and everything in my cart was in boxes per cashiers who rang up my purchase and boxed everything up for me. She went through every item asking questions about items that were literally on the receipt that I handed her. If I was stealing would I have willingly handed her my receipt and let her check my cart without any objections? I told her in a polite way that everything in the cart was on the receipt, paid for and boxed up by her coworkers who rung me up. She proceeded to roll her eyes, shoved the receipt in my face and huffed off. I understand that she's doing her job but don't treat every customer like a criminal especially if they willingly handed over their receipt because all items were paid and accounted for and I had nothing to hide. Some of us are honest people who work hard for everything we have and don't appreciate the attitude nor being interrogated by a receipt checker on a power trip. Why are you questioning my items when they're literally on the receipt and were boxed up by the employees checking me out. read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Costco in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent especially for the price point that they ask for and if you need to use premium gas it's a really good value. I recommend using Costco not only for the quality of their goods and their gas but how they treat their staff and give them a livable wage with healthcare and benefits I always want to support a large retail Box store that does that type of thing read more

This store is very similar to most Costcos. We were looking for new the small dog dogfood that Costco notified us they were switching their Kirkland brand for. Unfortunately, this store didn't have the new food. We shopped around the store but only ended up getting some vitamins and checking out. The location was tricky to enter from the busy roads, and the parking lot was crazy busy. We parked out away from the door in hopes to avoid some of the confusion but it was impossible. read more

This Costco was extremely busy during my visit this past Saturday, but I honestly don't think Costco is ever not busy. You can find all your typical bulk items and with the holidays close by, there are plenty of seasonal options. Since my first review of this store, I have become somewhat disabled and need to use an electric cart during visits to big-box stores such as Costco. unfortunately this store is woefully short on the carts. I had to go to the store today to replenish a supply of an item i buy only bi-monthly and i was unable to get a cart. There is a myriad of older Americans living in this area and shopping here, and on average, approximately 50% of the vehicles using handicapped parking have an occupant needing assistance in the store, a la an electric cart. THIS STORE NEEDS MORE ELECTRIC CARTS!!! Please add to your inventory. read more

This experience has nothing to do with COVID. Kirstyn is a great up sell agent at Membership. I'm wondering how many Seniors she has swoon over to Executive. Her technique was a real disappointment to see in action. Backstory: took my dad in to activate his Costco membership purchased online through a military link (Vietnam Veteran). She asked the pertinent sales questions, why, spend/year, etc. then proceeded to encourage him that his $15-20 month spend is best for Executive membership. I finally had to share Avery personal situation as to why Executive was not the best membership for him. She still continued to override me. Terrible . read more

Yes, I'm well aware that simply penning a review for Costco means I've become one of Those People. It all started when I bought our first Prius, a decade back. The move to the gated community on the westside was telltale. It's only a matter of time until I start craving smooth jazz, or contemporary country. Costco shoppers embody the fiscally responsible, anti-spontaneous adulting realm I've attempted, most of my adult life, to avoid. You know who I'm talking about, here. They kinda waddle down the aisles, hunched, elbows squatting upon the shopping cart handle (the elbow push irks me so badly), and their whole lives are basically summed up with one word: Costco. They wear it, consume it, entertain with it, furnish it, travel with it, buy it in bulk and worship it. They don't actually do anything else, these people. And now, I have a membership. Welcome to the jungle, Howie. Members obey a kind of unspoken Code of Costco Conduct, there's a methodology to the shopping ritual that really bugged me, initially: when to provide my card, the receipt, navigating the products because -- really -- no one's around to help. I'd just get lost in this consumer vortex, endless wandering, wondering Hey, do I really need a five year supply of Windex? Perhaps. I do loves me some pickles, let's buy ten pounds of 'em. An hour later, $400 spent, I'm not really getting the bargain bug. I avoid this place at all costs on weekends, but if duty calls, this Coors location is a lesser madhouse than the store on Renaissance boulevard. The covered parking is really nice, particularly mid-summer. At the end of the day, understanding full well that I'm a slave to this consumer game, Costco provides an experience rivaling Target, as far as quality, consistency and customer service goes. They also really care about their employees. So bite the bullet, and join Us. read more

After my parents were Costco members for over 20 years, I decided to join as well. I remember having a great experience growing up with each visit to Costco and after becoming a member, each visit was just as I remembered. The variety of items sold is always impressive and there are special items at certain locations too. The employees are always friendly and very knowledgeable if you have any questions. Several times I have inquired about inventory and the management staff has assisted me in a very professional manner. Overall I find great value in buying my basic essential items in bulk, such as toilet paper, paper towels, diapers and wipes. These items tend to go very fast and buying in bulk helps prolong the need to purchase them sooner, which I believe saves us money in the long run. I also buy food items in bulk, such as the Milan Salmon, which is great to just pop in the oven for 20 minutes and you have a great dinner for a family of 3-5 people. Aside from food and non-food items, Costco gives great deals on gasoline and even car rentals( via Costco travel). It's definitely worth the year membership. Check it out for yourself! read more
