My wife and I have been Costco members for 20 years and always lived near one of their warehouses. Unfortunately now where we live in Las Cruces we do not have one. We often come to visit our son in Rio Rancho and on every trip, this Costco is always a must stop. We fill up the car with gas and do major shopping on our way back to Las Cruces. One of the major perks from Costco is able to return items without time frame, particularly since we do not live near one. The stores are always well kept including their restrooms. Their customer service is always excellent, much better than any other store. We also like that they support diversity. Hopefully one day we will have a Costco in Las Cruces! read more

Ok - it's Costco, home of the $1.50 hot dog & drink deal. Bulk sizing available and great product at reasonable pricing - usually. What drives me crazy is the consistent moving of product around. Smart marketing move because you get a chance to see things you might normally miss. Downside is a quick in and out is not always possible. They've made some changes that could result in shorter lines. Membership cards are now scanned before you can get inside the store. Plus they've expanded the number of gas pumps cutting down wait times there too. Gas prices are generally cheaper. On rare occasion they are a penny or two more. But using their branded card you save an additional 5%. What impresses me is the return policy - dissatisfied? Bring it back. The staff at this store has always been helpful and accommodating. There are still somethings that I won't buy there - but not many. read more

We went to pick up some things at Costco today, Black Friday. We were there at 4 PM and for a Black Friday, it didn't look like one. It wasn't that busy. I got gas in under 5 minutes; that's how slack it was at Costco today. I purchased a whole pepperoni pizza and had a terrible experience. It wasn't the busy. The lady working the oven did what she could, and the guy working the counter was calling out orders. The lady working the oven put several pizzas in boxes, and then put them into the shelves, where they stayed. Finally, after 15 minutes of waiting for the guy working the counter to actually look at the pizzas that had accumulated in the shelves, it became clear this guy was ever going to look at the boxes, expecting the pizzas to disappear or something. I went to the counter, looked the dude in the eye and gave the number of my order. He looked at me with shock, because my order was several earlier then ones he had been working on. (Clearly to this guy the only thing that matter was what was on the counter.) Bottom line, the people working at Costco's food court couldn't care less about the customers. I recommend that you give them a reasonable amount of time, then go the counter because they will NEVER look at the pile of boxed pizzas until Costco closes. read more

Rude employees especially the lady at the door checking receipts. This was on a Monday morning around 9:30. I handed her my receipt willingly and everything in my cart was in boxes per cashiers who rang up my purchase and boxed everything up for me. She went through every item asking questions about items that were literally on the receipt that I handed her. If I was stealing would I have willingly handed her my receipt and let her check my cart without any objections? I told her in a polite way that everything in the cart was on the receipt, paid for and boxed up by her coworkers who rung me up. She proceeded to roll her eyes, shoved the receipt in my face and huffed off. I understand that she's doing her job but don't treat every customer like a criminal especially if they willingly handed over their receipt because all items were paid and accounted for and I had nothing to hide. Some of us are honest people who work hard for everything we have and don't appreciate the attitude nor being interrogated by a receipt checker on a power trip. Why are you questioning my items when they're literally on the receipt and were boxed up by the employees checking me out. read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Costco in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent especially for the price point that they ask for and if you need to use premium gas it's a really good value. I recommend using Costco not only for the quality of their goods and their gas but how they treat their staff and give them a livable wage with healthcare and benefits I always want to support a large retail Box store that does that type of thing read more

Completely ridiculously awful to the point where I had to laugh. We buy all our tires or at least we used to at this tire shop at Costco on Eagle Ranch. We pay for the road hazard warranty. I took my wife's car there with a roofing nail in the right rear driver side after I waited at the desk for a long amount of time, After the first guy told me he'd be right with me. LOL someone finally decided to shuffle on up to see me. I told him I had a nail in a tire that I needed pulled and plugged and he informed me that he could make me an appointment for next Tuesday. I laughed in his fucking face. I went to one of the locally owned tire shops on fourth Street where an extremely nice gentleman asked me what I needed I told him I needed a tire plugged. He did it inside of 10 minutes. Don't go to Costco. They suck. Use local shoppes they care about their business. read more

This store is very similar to most Costcos. We were looking for new the small dog dogfood that Costco notified us they were switching their Kirkland brand for. Unfortunately, this store didn't have the new food. We shopped around the store but only ended up getting some vitamins and checking out. The location was tricky to enter from the busy roads, and the parking lot was crazy busy. We parked out away from the door in hopes to avoid some of the confusion but it was impossible. read more

This Costco was extremely busy during my visit this past Saturday, but I honestly don't think Costco is ever not busy. You can find all your typical bulk items and with the holidays close by, there are plenty of seasonal options. I kept my time here as short as possible and stuck with getting the basic needs without too many cold or frozen items due to my hour drive back home. The checkout lines were much quicker than expected and we were able to be in and out in less than an hour. read more

Since my first review of this store, I have become somewhat disabled and need to use an electric cart during visits to big-box stores such as Costco. unfortunately this store is woefully short on the carts. I had to go to the store today to replenish a supply of an item i buy only bi-monthly and i was unable to get a cart. There is a myriad of older Americans living in this area and shopping here, and on average, approximately 50% of the vehicles using handicapped parking have an occupant needing assistance in the store, a la an electric cart. I can buy food, clothes, electronics, home goods and some of the best liquor here but aside from the bulk stuff my favorites are the deli section with lots of take and make dinners, the flower section with some of the most beautiful bouquets and my favorite - large parking spaces! read more

This experience has nothing to do with COVID. Kirstyn is a great up sell agent at Membership. I'm wondering how many Seniors she has swoon over to Executive. Her technique was a real disappointment to see in action. Backstory: took my dad in to activate his Costco membership purchased online through a military link (Vietnam Veteran). She asked the pertinent sales questions, why, spend/year, etc. then proceeded to encourage him that his $15-20 month spend is best for Executive membership. I finally had to share Avery personal situation as to why Executive was not the best membership for him. She still continued to override me. Terrible . read more

Yes, I'm well aware that simply penning a review for Costco means I've become one of Those People. It all started when I bought our first Prius, a decade back. The move to the gated community on the westside was telltale. It's only a matter of time until I start craving smooth jazz, or contemporary country. Costco shoppers embody the fiscally responsible, anti-spontaneous adulting realm I've attempted, most of my adult life, to avoid. You know who I'm talking about, here. They kinda waddle down the aisles, hunched, elbows squatting upon the shopping cart handle (the elbow push irks me so badly), and their whole lives are basically summed up with one word: Costco. They wear it, consume it, entertain with it, furnish it, travel with it, buy it in bulk and worship it. They don't actually do anything else, these people. And now, I have a membership. Welcome to the jungle, Howie. Members obey a kind of unspoken Code of Costco Conduct, there's a methodology to the shopping ritual that really bugged me, initially: when to provide my card, the receipt, navigating the products because -- really -- no one's around to help. I'd just get lost in this consumer vortex, endless wandering, wondering Hey, do I really need a five year supply of Windex? Perhaps. I do loves me some pickles, let's buy ten pounds of 'em. An hour later, $400 spent, I'm not really getting the bargain bug. I avoid this place at all costs on weekends, but if duty calls, this Coors location is a lesser madhouse than the store on Renaissance boulevard. The covered parking is really nice, particularly mid-summer. At the end of the day, understanding full well that I'm a slave to this consumer game, Costco provides an experience rivaling Target, as far as quality, consistency and customer service goes. After my parents were Costco members for over 20 years, I decided to join as well. I remember having a great experience growing up with each visit to Costco and after becoming a member, each visit was just as I remembered. The variety of items sold is always impressive and there are special items at certain locations too. The employees are always friendly and very knowledgeable if you have any questions. Several times I have inquired about inventory and the management staff has assisted me in a very professional manner. Overall I find great value in buying my basic essential items in bulk, such as toilet paper, paper towels, diapers and wipes. These items tend to go very fast and buying in bulk helps prolong the need to purchase them sooner, which I believe saves us money in the long run. I also buy food items in bulk, such as the Milan Salmon, which is great to just pop in the oven for 20 minutes and you have a great dinner for a family of 3-5 people. Aside from food and non-food items, Costco gives great deals on gasoline and even car rentals( via Costco travel). It's definitely worth the year membership. Check it out for yourself! read more

I have been to this Costco location twice for an eye exam and then to pick up my glasses. The "guards" at the front door are so rude. Barking orders at me, telling me where I can stand, precisely, while I wait for the optical department to come pick me up. Terrible customer service at the front door. I have a Sam's card as well and customer service is so much better at Sam's. I still don't have my glasses because the wait was too long (I had another appointment), and I'm dreading my third visit. What can be said about Costco that hasn't already been said. Big parking spaces. Reasonably priced gas for the area. Bright, spacious aisles. Samples. And ways to purchase things like cars, vacations, air conditioners, etc... When this Costco is "crowded," it is never actually crowded. No one knows what a crowded Costco looks like until they've been to the Maui Costco between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They quickly open additional checkout lines when needed to help flow. I really like the shaded parking spaces. The one "issue" with this Costco is that it requires a few turns to get back going north on 528. read more

No two Costcos are EXACTLY alike... I mean, they may look pretty darn similar, but the fact of the matter is, customer service and products are often times different. This particular location has never let me down when it comes to convenience or array of products. In order to shop here, I have to travel at least two hours ONE WAY, so allowing this to be my one stop shop is a totally necessary. I can get my prescriptions, gas and groceries here for an affordable price and if I ever have a question, all the employees are super nice and eager to help. Can't beat that! I once found a defect in a product I brought home and was too far to return it, but Dawn at this location made everything worth my while when I next visited. She completely took care of the issue and made me feel like a respected customer. The location is ideal, being relatively close to the 40, as well as other popular places of business like Target, Ross, and the Mall (if you need to go here.) My only complaint is that finding parking here is sometimes difficult, and people get angry if you wait for them. I once had a woman scream at me for "rushing" her, even though I was patiently waiting and talking to my passenger at the time. However, I didn't let her foul mouth deter me from coming back multiple times. read more

This location was clean and the shelves were stocked. The layout was larger than the Prescott, AZ location we are used to. We were surprised with the larger location we did not find all we are used to getting at Costco. However we did find some good slabs of beef for a decent price that I took home and was able to butcher up to stock the freezer. I am a fan of Costco, not only do they offer almost everything at a lower price, but also they care about their workers. This Costco is awesome since now you can park underneath their huge solar panels, keeps your car from burning hot in the summer and less snow in during snow days, comm'n we live in ABQ. They have a huge selection goods, tools, clothes, food...insurance, travel plans, cars, ties, you name it, and their employees are really nice people. I have a friend who works for them and she is a full-time college kid and they are willing to work around her schedule. Their tire shop is nice and professional, if you have a leak in your tire, bring it there, they will fix it, and if you need air for your tires, these all can be taken care of at the cost of nothing. read more

This review is about the tire service center, specifically the manager. We have taken multiple vehicles there to be serviced. The tire service manager continuously rude. We have brought it to the store manager's attention, but he has yet to stop being rude. (Clearly the store manager thinks this behavior is okay since the tire service's manager's behavior has yet to change) My mother mentioned to him (the tire service manager) that he makes her uncomfortable the way he speaks to her and he said "that's how I speak to most of my customers." We pay to be members at Costco and to be treated that way, regardless, is horrible customer service. Someone that rude should not be working there, let alone be a manager. read more
