This location is the worst Smith's and a sorry excuse for customer service, the issue is simple, I went to the deli counter for cold cuts. No one was at the counter and the lady working there, said just a minute as she was finishing an order, she turned asked me what I wanted, told her half pound of garlic baloney, that's it, she said she had other orders that customers had gone off shopping. Since this was the only thing I went in for, I asked why couldn't she do mine, as this was all I wanted and didn't have any other shopping to do. So, she explained that this is the way we do it. I've never had this happen at that store before. So I asked to speak to the store director, he was out so I got the assistant. She explained something about Boars Heads rules, to which I said I didn't ask for Boars Head, it was another brand. To make a long story short, eventually she said, she'd speak to the lady in the deli meats. Out of curiosity, I watched to see if she would speak to the employee, for about 15 mins. She never spoke to the employee. This along with the fact that they're stocking is pathetic, customer service is non existent, I'll drive the additional five miles to another grocery store. This location is just not worth my patronage, I'll take my money elsewhere. read more
