Decided to stop by here while I was in Bernalillo to get a quick car wash. The building looks…read morereally cool from the outside and the prices were the best I have seen at a full service car wash. The best wash was only $15! One of the best priced car washes I have been to. For $15 you get Underbody Rinse, Wheel Presoak, Spot Free Rinse, Power Dry, Triple Polish, Rust Block, Hi-pressure Wheel Clean, Paint & Chrome Protectant, Carnauba Wax, Rain & Dust Repellant, and Tire Shine according to their website. The Monthly pass is only $25, what a steal! I pulled up to a automated payment system at the entrance and a attendant rushed out to do it for me, which I liked. They give you a bag filled with car goodies, a wet rag to wipe your dash and interior, which most washes have a horrible smell with the rag, but this one had no smell. They also give you two air fresheners in the bag, but they don't ask what smell you would like. I got baby powder and it was not enjoyable. When you enter the wash tunnel another attendant sprays your car from mud with a power washer and askes what car freshener smell you would like. So you basically get 3 air fresheners. The wash equipment seemed to be fairly new and did an okay job in cleaning my vehicle. In the end the car was still very soapy and wet. The Dryers did not seem to dry very well and the spot free rinse didn't work at all. Maybe the equipment was having a moment, but from reading other reviews it seems to be an ongoing thing. They have about 20 free vacuums to use after the wash. Overall seems to be an excellent good car wash and the prices are what really drew me in. The fact that the wash left soap all over the car might break coming back next time I am in the area. Unfortunate, because something that could easily be fixed is deterring many after reading other reviews.

Closed for over a week without explanation other then rehab which was suppose to reopen after 3…read moredays..

I finally decided that I was going to get it cleaned by a professional. They have a service, interior super clean, that focuses on vents, dust, sand, etc. It cost $48 but I needed it. The waiting area was nice. There are seats, a little convenient-store-like setup so I could buy snacks or air fresheners. No one inside greeted me but the guys outside were nice. At the end one even told me they have a shuttle service for detailing so that I don't wait in the future (I wish someone inside had said something like that). When I was shown my car there were some spots that still had sand remanence. Obvious spots. They cleaned that on the spot. I was happy! I thought they got all the sand out. However, three days later I hit a bump in the road and sand shot out of my vents. They said they used a shop-vacuum to get all the sand out, but it doesn't seem they went all the way. My car looked good for a few days. I went a few days without sand. The price was a little high. I wish I had been told I didn't have to sit and wait 45 minutes before hand, but they did the job.

Nothing like a pricing structure that tells you the best upfront without having to soak in the menu…read moreof different washing. Compared to Mister car wash these guys are so much better not only from value but to quality as well. These guys take their time and do a quality job. The one pet peeve I have is rushed service with bad quality. That was what turned me away from mister car wash about a year and a half ago. Rain Tunnel is definitely a site for soar eyes. They vacuumed my vehicle and dried her up and got her looking good! I got "the best" wash which is their best wash. It's full service where they will vacuum, wipe down your dash, dry up your vehicle, and shine your tires. At $25 it's the best deal in town! I've yet to see a comparable car wash that goes above and beyond like these guys to give you the best bang for your buck.
