I originally bought a Groupon for another business in the city, and had a bad experience, so was on the mission to finding a reasonable auto detail job I wouldn't have to drive to. I messaged 8 different businesses through yelp, and Crispy Clean was the most prompt and reasonably priced. They were able to give a fair quote with no questions asked. They even accommodated my appointment twice with no problem. They arrived early, were extremely professional, and took their time. My car has had years of neglect as far as maintaining the interior and exterior. Their work was definitely cut out for them, both car and the climate being 100 degrees that day, and I couldn't be more satisfied! I'd like to be able to reiew their service but they would have to show up first for me to be able to do that. They asked to reschedule the original appointment because it was supposed to rain. No problem. I get it. At least they did it the morning of the appointment. The rescheduled appointment never happened either. This time they waited until 20 mins before it was supposed to happen. Again, blaming weather causing them to get behind on their appointments and they wanted to schedule it for the following day that is forecasted to have rain and potentially snow. I normally wouldn't bother writing any kind of review but their lack of planning caused me to waste a day off so I could make the appointment but they couldn't bother to give any kind of heads up they were running behind. I do not recommend their services unless you like wasting your time only to have them not show up. If less than 1 star was an option I would've given it. read more

I wouldn't be upset normally, and would have been more than happy to reschedule, if they requested a reschedule prior to the day/time of my appointment. Based on the accolades here I contacted Ivan to come detail my minivan. I scheduled late in the afternoon without remembering that daylight is short this time of year. Ivan was working hard but it was dark by the time I had to leave. He still wanted to be sure to do a good job, so even though I paid him in full, he asked to return soon on a day when he can finish the job. Seeing how he missed a few spots previous because it was so dark he apologized and went to work right away to finish what he started. Such a nice guy who wanted me to get my money's worth! Courteous and professional! Just be sure to schedule your appointment early enough in the day so he has plenty of time in daylight to do a great job for you. I live in an area where there is no place to wash my car and it is one year old. I tried to wash it a few times in the drive-through carwashes and it developed a nasty film on it from the wax part of the car wash. Ivan and his associate showed up at my house on time with everything they needed and within an hour my car was spotless inside and out. I got the interior/exterior detail job and hand wax. They were able to get all of the film off, get the windows squeaky clean and get rid of every trace of the long hair I shed all the time. My husband tried to surprise me with a clean car for my birthday. Based on good reviews, he choose Crispy Clean. He booked online and paid in advance. They never showed up or contacted us. We called multiple times leaving messages and tried to contact them through their website. It is extremely unprofessional to miss an appointment and even more so to never respond to customers (especially when they paid in advance). The only positive from this experience is that they gave us a refund for the money we paid in advance. I am not sure if this business is a scam or if they even clean cars but I would would NOT recommend this service. I gave this outfit an opportunity to redeem themselves. There is no question in my mind that most customers probably have a positive experience. I asked them to clean my truck after a long road trip. Overall, the truck was very clean after their work was done. However, there were two major issues. 1) I paid extra for water spot removal. Frankly, there wasn't a big difference between before and after. I understand that water spots may be difficult to remove. They could have done a better job of setting expectations on the outcome of the treatment. The technician acknowledged that there were still water spots and said I would probably have to pay for another treatment. 2) The larger issue was the fact that there was a new dent on the hood. I pointed it out and the technician merely shrugged it off. I thought I would receive some acknowledgment or response when bringing it to the attention of management. They have not responded to my email or phone call. I tried working with them and got zero response. I'm not trying to trash the company and wish nothing but success for outfits like this. However I believe good customer service is required to help companies improve and thrive. From my perspective they were content to make a quick buck and not establish a good, long-standing customer relationship with repeat business. read more
