It's 2019, I bought a 2018 Toyota Avalon from Hertz Rental Car Sales. The Avalon had 33,000 miles on it, the car is in very good condition. The issue was the exterior finish, you could see where people had dragged bags in and out. Tossed bags on top of the car. Lots of rub marks, swirl marks and a few scratches. Thi at Haute Details did a number on my beat-up Mercedes C300. When I first brought it to him, I had tried to polish, detail, and wax the car myself. It was previously owned, and the ex-owner never waxed it. In fact, it was a relative of mine, and he admitted to not waxing it. The inside of the car was a whole thing in itself. It was dirty, his elbows must have been dirty too because the arm rest was caked on with dirt. There was coffee stains where the defrosters were (WTF?) and horrible stain marks on the roof of the vehicle. My god, either he was a construction worker or had no idea what luxury vehicle he was driving. Thi took care of the entire thing... for around $250. Holy moly. The difference $250 made on the Mercedes was astonishing. The carpets, stains, and dirt marks were all removed from the interior. The outside of the vehicle felt smooth and polished, looking like a new car again. Why I needed my car detailed: My car was broken into. The thief broke the driver's side front window, which I had replaced a couple days later. The auto glass company that replaced the window removed most of the large easily visible glass; however, there was still a significant amount of glass chunks, smaller shards, and slivers in the seats, and on the floor, as you can imagine. My initial call to Haute: After looking on Yelp, I called the company on Saturday afternoon and spoke directly with Thi. He told me what he could do, which I eventually settled on $50 for an interior vacuum and cleaning, not a with a power cleaner he mentioned, which would be more, which is understandable. Thi told me that he would be able to clean my car at my place, mobile cleaning, on Sunday...we agreed on 9am. Why I decided on Haute: Bottom line....I spoke directly with the owner of the business, Thi. He would be cleaning my car, it's his company, and who else cares more about the quality of their work than the owner? That's why I gave Thi the shot. My main concern: Mobile detailing? I'm not bringing my car to a shop, but he's coming to me. How good can it be? Quality: He arrived on time, and he was professional. He had a business van which had everything he needed. He spent nearly an hour and a half working on my car. When he was done, it was IMMACULATE. Every shard, sliver, tiny reflective piece in all mats, the seats, under the seats, in all the crevices, everything was gone. I was so pleasantly surprised by Haute Details, I had to write a review. I received a phone call promptly after I'd put in an inquiry on the website. Thi (pronounced like Tye) arrived at my house 10 minutes early to assess my car. He works on the weekends AND came to my house. My car was driven by my mother for the last 3 years and she always brought her dog everywhere in it. The leather needed conditioning, the interior needed a deep clean, and the dog fur needed to be gotten rid of. Haute Details did an impeccable job. It was pricey, but that's because I chose the most expensive option and then a little extra was charged because of the (embarassing) amount of dog fur. That didn't come as a surprise to me, as any other detail place would've charged more also. My car looks as good as new and I was happy that they use the old fashioned way of cleaning the carpets inside--hot water--so I don't have to worry about inhaling chemicals or getting a headache from any strong smells. I didn't know it, but my baby was sick. OK, not real baby, but my car is basically one of my children. Anyway, she wasn't doing well and I didn't know it. All the day-to-day dirt and grime was clinging to her like a virus attached to a healthy blood cell. Fortunately, I found Dr. Thi (pronounced Tee, like the letter). I mean, I don't know if he's a real doctor, but I am just assuming. Either that or he's some type of healer. Either way, Ruby, my Explorer, is as beautiful in and out as the day I purchased her. Great experience! First contact to ask pricing and appointment availability I was told the wait was about 7 to 10 days out. Monday evening I was able to book for Friday at 8am with the platinum package. He offered a ride home after dropping off and again to pick up the car although I did not take the offer. The car I dropped off had not been properly cleaned in months. There was dog hair and sand throughout. Thi called me 2 hours before the car was done to allow me time to arrange how I would pick up the car. It looked as clean or cleaner than when it was bought from the dealer lot (used). Just had my 2008 Ford Escape Limited done by Thi. Bought my car as a trade as is. It was very, very dirty outside and the inside with leather seats, looked like it never been cleaned. Then I turned it over to Thi. OMG, it looks brand new when he was done. Thi is beyond a God with his detailing experience. As other reviews stated he is pricey than most detail shops but it is way worth it. The outside looks like it was painted, the inside looks brand new, I AM NOT JOKING!!! We've used Haute Detail twice now and we couldn't be more please! Thi takes a great deal of pride in his work and the results really show it. We've all gone to octopus and gotten a $50 detail, you leave your car there for an hour and when you get it back its COVERED in a nice thick later of shiny grease. My wife and I have had 3 cars detailed by Haute Details and each time we have been wowed. My first impression after meeting the owner Thi was that they'd do a good job but the detailing on my Forester was phenomenal. Thi Tran at Haute Details saved my car! My showroom quality Porsche 911 was at a local repair shop for some extensive work. Unbeknownst to me, they left it outside on their back lot for FIVE MONTHS through the winter. While the mechanical/electrical work was well done, that shop denied any culpability for the scratches, TREE SAP, and other contaminants that were all over my car. I took it straight to Thi at Haute Details. In a day and a half, he restored my car to what it was before it was neglected by the other shop. (By the way, that shop asked for estimates to get my car cleaned up, but then reneged and wouldn't pick up the tab.) I was scared that my car had permanent damage to the finish, but Thi got it looking super great. This guy knows his stuff, is very patient, and works on one car at a time. Not only did he return my never-previously-detailed 2011 MDX to showroom appearance, he was able to buff out an unsightly scrape in my wife's brand new car. I was beyond impressed with this detail service. At first the price tag is a bit shocking, but you absolutely get what you pay for (he spent ALL day working on my vehicle). His work was impressively meticulous, even by my standards (and those are high standards). The car went into his garage after a cross country move with a dog (imagine all the fur and debris and general filth) and came out as though I had just purchased it off the show room floor. He even cleaned the weathertech floor mats better than I have been able to do in the past. Great detail on my 2013 Audi S4! I went with the platinum package because we just purchased the car used and we wanted a clean start. This included a steam clean of all the upholstery inside the cabin and trunk and now the car actually smells brand new! He even got the alcantara fabric (fancy, synthetic micro fiber) on the seats looking brand new, which is very difficult to do. The paint finish is fantastic, he removed impurities with a synthetic clay bar (very time consuming and laborious) and then polished the finish with his array of polishers (he showed me all his equipment). It took about 8 hours for the full platinum detail and its easy to see, feel, and smell why! I highly recommend! read more

I wanted to take the best care possible of my brand-new liquid metallic silver Mazda 3, so I washed it myself when it was only a couple of weeks old. In doing so, I put a gigantic scratch (over a foot long) into the roof panel. In a panic, I called Thi and he said he would take a look at it. He reassured me that I didn't need a body shop and that he could polish it out. He did an excellent job of removing the scratch and clayed and waxed the car so it looked better than new. I know he regularly works on cars that cost five or ten times as much as mine did but he treated my car with the same care and attention to detail as he would a higher-end vehicle. Since it's been waxed, the car has been very easy to keep clean. After my initial visit to him, Thi has been very willing to respond to my email queries and provide tips on maintaining my car.
