Once a year or so, I like to get my car washed, waxed, and detailed. It's good for it, and I can't do it myself. In this case, it had been three years since I had done it; with COVID, it just didn't happen. I googled places to get your car detailed in ABQ, and this came up. I love all the services they offer, especially the clay bar and wax, because that gets all the impurities off the paint and makes it like glass. I called on Wednesday, and they could take it on Friday. They even gave me a loaner car which was great; it freed me up to run errands and go home. The radio didn't work in it, but it was a complementary ride, so I really can't complain. He quoted me 299+ tax, and that's precisely what it was when I came to pick it up. It could have been more depending on the filthy ness of the vehicle. I dropped it off just before 9 am, and it was ready at 2 pm. The outside looked glossy, and shiny, except for a few places with water drops, but they were on the lights. The all-weather mats were clean and glistened like they had been oiled; I think they looked better than when they were new. The leather seats were shiny and everything smelled so nice. I was very impressed until I found a few remaining frys under the front seat when I moved it to get my phone that I had dropped. That made me feel like he could have done a more thorough job with the vacuum. However, I'm very happy with the job overall and would recommend to others! read more

The service was friendly and timely but overall I'm sorry to say that my car was not properly fixed. My car was stolen and the catalytic converter was cut out. Luckily, the police found it and after sitting at a tow yard for days I finally received a letter in the mail to pick it up. After paying inflated towing fees from not being informed in a timely manner I was able to retrieve it. I called around to many mechanics to find someone who could tow it to their business to fix it for a reasonable price and Auto Depot offered the best rate. The service was quick and everything seemed great when I drove it away (they even steamed clean the inside for me except they forgot the ceiling). I had originally bought the car to use it to move back home. So I informed the mechanic that I would be towing a small U-Haul trailer with it for a long distance. The car worked well until I got to my destination. Once there, the check engine light came on and it started making a loud roaring sound. I took it to another mechanic in my new city and he told me that the catalytic converter that was put on was an aftermarket converter that was not high quality. So it had fallen apart and would need to be replaced again. I told him that I had paid over $1,300 to have a new one put on already and I couldn't afford to replace it right away due to moving costs. So somehow he stuck it back together for me for the short term. He also said it wouldn't smog anyway even if it hadn't broken since it wasn't replaced according to my new state's standards. I can't fault Auto Depot for that as they're not aware of my home state's regulations but they did tell me they tried to add something that would make it work for getting smogged where I was going but it didn't. Despite this though it would've been nice if the converter had properly worked even if it couldn't pass a smog check since I paid so much to get it fixed. read more

We arrived in Albuquerque after our wheel bearing went out coming from Denver this past Friday afternoon. I began calling the Ford dealers for service. They have NO provision for any emergency!!! I had nasty throw up in my car--wall, seats, seat belts, the back of the seat in front of it, etc. I seriously called a biohazard cleanup company for a quote because it was so gross. They were able to completely remove all of it, plus get rid of the smell, and for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend! read more

I am so happy I went to Auto Depot to have my truck RHINO lined. My 2012 Chevy Silverado looks awesome. I had them remove my crappy plastic bed liner to add Rhino Lining. My 2016 Prius had a badly pulling right front brake an loud strange noises that came from underneath the car quite often. I had no idea what was causing them. I'm a caregiver and unfortunately one of my clients had an accident in my back seat. I called around to multiple auto detailers and Auto Depot quoted me the lowest price. They shampooed the entire back seat using an enzyme cleaner to make sure all the fluids and smell were removed. Then they used scotch guard to help any future liquids roll off instead of sinking in. They were even kind enough to fill up one of my tires that was giving a message about being low when I hadn't even asked them to. They were very personable and did a great job. I brought in my Honda Odyssey for a detail, I could not believe the poor job, the windows were still dirty on the inside. two stowaway areas stayed very wet for a week ,I showed him some glue spots? on drivers door still there. I had my car detailed and during the cleaning one of the employees broke the latch to my trunk. The manager said he would order a replacement part and they would call us when it came in. We waited 2 months and called to see what the status was. They said it was back ordered but on its way. We waited another month and called again. We were told it was still on back order and they couldn't control when it arrived. We had found the replacement part on eBay for $70 and suggested they simply refund us that amount and we would take care of replacing it. The owner said he could get it for $25 and "it didn't make sense" to him to refund us $70. We pointed out that he had failed to get it for 3 months, and we would be doing the repair ourselves for the $70. He refused and offered a refund of $35. We took it and had to pay extra to repair our car for damage they did. Bottom line: for $35 more he could have corrected the damage his employee did and made the customer happy. But that didn't "make sense" to him. I strongly recommend taking your business to a place that values you and your property over 30 bucks in their pocket. read more

After paying $250 for my car to be detailed, the stain in the rear carpet wasn't removed. This had been discussed and was told it would be removed. The floor mat hook on the driver's side was broken off. The. Ents we're still dirty. Hadn't been touched. They charge top dollar and deliver mediocre service. Also, they suggested I tip. I'm so excited, picked up my accent today at 4pm, I was absolutely thrilled with the body work on my passenger quarter panel, it looks beautiful, remember I mentioned on Monday that my car was sprayed accidentally with a stucco Color? My paint job looks like glass! The hood was really faded from NM sun, now it looks like new, Doug even had Gabriel clean the inside of my car. The good: Friendly staff, decent cleaning, and they drive you home so you don't have to wait all day. The bad: Like others have said, they hide stains under the temporary floor mat. There were a few large ones under there. They also missed every stain on the roof interior of the car. It's like they never looked up. Overall, I paid $180 expecting to pay $100 as advertised and got about an $80 clean job. Disappointing. I would give them three stars, but here's the big reason I'm upset: they offered to drop me off (which they did) AND pick me up from my apartment. I told them I had no other mode of transportation and they told me not to worry. Well, I got a phone call at 2PM telling me there was no way they could pick me up and that they closed at 3PM. So, I ran (literally) 3 miles to pick up my car before they closed or else I wouldn't have had a ride to work in the morning. Don't offer a service if you can't provide it. I expected a long wait and brought my laptop filled with movies to compensate. They insisted I went home. This should never have happened. read more

Great people to do business with! I rode into town for a motorcycle event and needed over 1,200 miles of the southwestern United States cleaned off my bike so I could enter it in the bike and light shows. I called and asked if they could get me in and they said "Sure". I dropped off my bike and they gave me a ride back to my motel. A few hours later, they came back to pick me up and take me back to my bike. Gabriel did a great job detailing my bike. Every one there was friendly and courteous. I've been to Auto Depot twice and am very happy with the detailing of my Honda Accord and PT Cruiser. The attention to detail varied only slightly with both cars, as a different person worked on each, but they both looked amazing. There was some extra conditioner pooled in the cup holders of one that could have been wiped out better, but the dash, seats, carpets, and engine compartment looked outstanding. At the same time, the price was very reasonable. I enjoyed the professionalism of each of the guys I talked to there and look forward to returning. read more
